General head cannons:

• spends basically all his time for his „job“ meaning being Lord of Western lands - keeping enemy’s out, checking that he‘s still the one in control

• I mean have you ever seen him doing something for fun? No, except that fighting is probs a lot fun for him, he doesn’t have any other hobbies or such

• Despite being rather serious most of the time, he DOES have humour.. it‘s just rather dark and very sarcastic.. making fun of his oppentents is pretty much all he can do but especially with Inuyasha, he does it a lot (check the manga, he‘s hilarious in there)

• Food head cannon: we all know he say‘s he doesn’t eat human food, he probs eats demons and humans. But if he were to try some modern human food just for fun I‘m pretty convinced he‘d like some fancy savory food (and he‘s a savory person for sure)

• that man barely ever sleeps.. we‘ve only seen him sleeping after some serious fights where he got wounded, other than that he‘s always on his feet. Might be because he‘s demon.. or because of insomania?

• when he does sleep tho, he uses his mokomoko as a pillow, I know it for sure

•Despite that he always says he‘s the greatest and no one can beat him, I‘m really really sure he‘s doubting himself a lot. He feels the need to become as strong as his father, but he‘s like his idol. He kinda thinks he can’t reach him without Tessaiga. So he uses all his strength and time to become as great as him (also to make him proud)

• That‘s why he might have insomania, maybe not bc of nightmares (tho I‘m sure he‘s got some too of being to weak and people especially his father favoring Inuyasha and not him) but because he doesn’t want to „waste“ his time on something „useless“ when he could spend it on becoming stronger

• Boy‘s got issues, daddy issues and prob also mommy issues cause she was one cold lady and even though you can‘t see it, I‘m pretty sure Sess is desperate for praise (one reason why he‘s keeping Jaken?) and also for affection... he just doesn’t want to admit it because he thinks it would weaken him colliding with his daddy issues and his own very high expectations of himself (which are as toxic as his venom in his veins)

• He doesn’t actually hate Inuyasha, it‘s more that he hates it that he inherited Tessaiga and that his father left his mother (and kind of him with that at least thats how he feels). That‘s why he‘s so mad at him. Deep down he knows it‘s not Inuyasha‘s fault but it‘s easier to blame him then looking at his own feelings which are self doubt and even more self doubt and loneliness, why didn’t gave his father the sword to him? Why didn’t he love him more or at least as much as Inuyasha? Why did he make fun of him for giving him a useless sword?! (At least so he thinks)

Ok, this was really fun to write but I have no idea if it was the kind of thing you were looking for? If not, maybe you could specify it a little bit?🙈 I‘d be nice to hear some feedback, too long, too short? Any feedback is well appreciated.

First fandom: Counting an engagement with fannish things that extends beyond my head, Rurouni Kenshin. With the added fun of being young enough to not understand the concept of fanfic completely, so for a brief time I thought that everyone in the series really was murdered and reincarnated in a happier time.

Like ik Sephy Boi is more than likely just using this as manipulation, but wowowow if it turns out true for this version.

And honestly? I’ve said it before, but I’m down for whatever. My best guess is that it’s probably some sort of fake out (I personally can’t think of a scenario where Tifa dying/being dead/etc. makes a lot of sense or why you’d put in a trailer now if it is legit), but I don’t really like to speculate much.

So I’m pretty much just vibing with whatever the devs wanna go with for now. But even if I end up not liking wherever the Remake goes, I just enjoy experiencing it with other people more than anything, tbh. Call me cheesy, but… yeah. Lol.

I don’t want Genesis as a villain, I want Genesis as The Worst Party Member to Ever Exist in a JRPG. Like make him OP in the vein of Sephiroth in that one OG VII flashback but make him incredibly difficult to use lmao. Like…

> He gets petty over nothing. Like Aerith dies and the team needs a dedicated healer and he’s just “oh let me just go get the pink ribbon and staff I keep in storage, BRB” and proceeds to file his nails or smth as one or more team members are dying from poison.

> Consistently makes any situation worse.

Piggybacking off of the dye anon's ask, imagine if Sephs pseudo dye job actually came out looking nice for some odd reason. Like some cute little ombre at the tips of his hair. Genesis is screeching into the nether bc for some reason he can't make Seph look silly ever. Seph is confused and annoyed, but oddly happy at being included after Zack explains this is the start of a prank war and it is something friends just do. Daddy Thiccums starts looking for the nearest therapist bc he needs it at this point. It is hard being a dad of 5 at only 23(24???idk).

Genesis would die. I think he would actually drop dead if that happened and/or just defect early. 😂

Also I feel like after Zack explains it, and Sephiroth is admittedly more curious than angry at the concept, he’d look to Angeal to try and get him to join in with the puppy eyes and Angeal would just be like “touching, but no absolutely not” as flatly as possible.

Then everything gets way out of hand and Zack ends up either A.) pulling the Turks into his war, B.) wrecking a portion of the science department/the tower for one reason or another or C.) both. Regardless of what happens, it ends with Angeal having to take a hose to Zack to get him passably clean enough to even come back inside. And Angeal has this distinct look that’s equal parts disappointed parent/exasperated owner looking at his bad bag/“I am in the WRONG profession” while he’s doing it.

Idk if you have ever heard of the song "I Speak Six Languages" from the Putnam County Spelling Bee, but everytime I hear it I think of Sephiroth. But if had a slightly more normal childhood and wasn't a child soldier.

Yo did you see the First Soldier and Evercrisis trailers? Apparently they are mobile

Ever Crisis looks a little interesting, but First Soldier is a battle royale game set 30 years before the main game events and I just... am immediately disinterested in that one lol. I’m not 12 and I don’t love FFVII for a bunch of generic looking jrpg npcs shooting each other in a handful of same-y arenas. They’re both dipping really hard into “milking the franchise” territory, but First Soldier just kinda seems like joke someone woulda made when Fortnite and PUBG exploded a few years back.

That said, I’m glad to see Yuffie (I have missed her!)/Remake getting moved to PS5 quickly enough but like... still... I’d kinda just rather them work on Remake pt. 2 and worry about that later, ya know? Maybe that’s just me, but like... I’ve been playing my own copy of 7R on PS5 on and off lately, and imo looks great without needing more graphical enhancements.

Like... unless they’re gonna go completely insane like BluePoint/Demon’s Souls did with the graphics and possibly add more content, I don’t see the point in it rn. Literally every game I have played on my PS5 vs. a PS4 counterpart so far feel does not feel graphically superior save for Demon’s Souls, and even then I’m not sure if that’s more to do with PS5 graphics or BluePoint just being ultra talented with their remasters like usual. Like... idk. I feel like they’d sell way more copies (and potentially systems to boot) if they dropped an “Enhanced Edition” or whatever of 7R a month or so before 7Rp2 gets here. It’s still hard to even find a PS5 rn, and I just feel like that announcement coulda waited.

This is all just my gut reaction tho. So. Only time will tell lol.

Ngl I feel Cloud's pain. I'm a whole 5'4 on a good day and my 16 year old cousin is now standing at 6ft exactly. I could touch mans head a few years ago and now I'm getting neck injuries trying to have a conversation smh. Someone once asked if I was his little sister like I'm not a whole 22 years old.
