Slowly carving away at Brozone designs one by one lol. I hope they all look good together though, because I’ve mostly been designing them in relation to their partners, so not sure how they’ll look as a set of siblings. Anyway, it’s Bruce and Brandy’s turn! Plus this time around some younger designs for a comic I’d like to do

I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to draw these two. Obviously Brandy has very different anatomy, and for Bruce I was having to keep in mind features I want to give to JD and not make them look too similar. But I really like how both of them turned out. Especially my younger design for Brandy, I think she’s super pretty

Onto headcanons/design elements!

-During TBT, Bruce is 40 and Brandy is 41. In the earlier designs Bruce is 22 and Brandy is 23.

-After a couple years of wandering post-Brozone, Bruce decided he wanted to live out on the ocean. Of course, a teenage ex-boyband member isn’t well equipped for life at sea. He got caught in a storm and his boat sank. Luckily, some techno trolls were nearby and brought him to vacay island, where he was found by Brandy.

-Early design is a transition period for Bruce. His hair is starting to relax, and he’s beginning to fill out, but isn’t quite to his final majestic hair and dad bod.

-Brandy is absolutely the one who taught him to surf, and it’s how they became close

-Speaking of him picking up things from Brandy, he got his wave tattoo after thinking hers was super cool

-Instead of wedding rings they have matching anklets

-Bruce has little twists and beads in his hair from his kids, and the flowers were put in there by Labreezy specifically

-Vacationers don’t have ears, so I found it kinda odd how Brandy’s design had earrings that were just stuck to the sides of her head. So I changed it to be rings woven into her hair that hang in the same spot earrings would. The kids definitely enjoyed chewing on them as babies
