HI THERE I LOVE THE ENTHUSIASM I CAN SO TOTALLY DO THAT. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH AUGH. I’ve definitely written for little Chuuya before but I usually write for him as more of a toddler or a kiddo not a baby. So sort of new territory!

⛦ Usually I say Chuuya’s regression age is 3-7, a pretty capable toddler. But! This request is making him an itty bitty baby! So we’ll lower that age range tooo 1-4! I struggle to view him as baby only sorry… He’s at least a little bit of a toddler! Just a little bit though shhhh don’t worry about it he’s like mostly a baby in this I promise I promise

₊ ⊹ I think when regressing on his own Chuuya would just drop to sort of a middle space. Like he’s not fully slipping but he’s definitely not fully a big kid… But when he regresses around Dazai? Ough he just feels so tiny… Dazai babies him so much! Dazai will even put his usual teasing and taunting on hold until he gets Chuuya to fully slip. But once Chuuya’s in itty bitty baby mode the normal taunting comes back in full force! Chuuya is never free from him…

⛦ Pet names! Because gah I love Soukoku and their silly nicknames for each other. Dazai calls Chuuya all the nicknames he’d call big Chuuya “Mutt” “Slug” “Hatrack” etc. But he also really likes to make fun of how tiny Chuuya is! “Little One” “Itsy Bitsy Baby” “Tiny Little Guy” because Chuuya is small both physically and mentally! It’s great. Chuuya can’t talk well enough to call Dazai his usual mean nicknames but when he’s babbling Dazai knows if Chuuya’s trying to insult him and he’ll lightly chastise the baby (Hypocrite! He was just bullying little Chuuya ( -᷅ ⤙ -᷄ ) )

₊ ⊹ Dazai is. An absolute disaster in the kitchen. Luckily! Baby food is easy! Babies aren’t expecting gourmet meals. Most of the time Chuuya is happy with just some formula in a bottle, maybe applesauce or something! Easy enough for Dazai to do (Though he still somehow manages to make a mess). Chuuya tried insisting he can feed himself on his own but his motor skills are really weak, applesauce will spill all over his carpet and he’ll just start crying because that’s too big of a problem for his tiny little brain. Dazai has learned to just step in and help even if Chuuya says he doesn’t want it

⛦ I think slipping so young would make Chuuya unable to form words. That doesn’t mean he’s quiet though! No no no this little guy has things to say! He’s constantly babbling nonsense. Dazai is mostly able to tell what his baby wants, but he’ll purposefully mistranslate the babbles to be silly! While of course still meeting Chuuya’s needs. For example if Chuuya asks for more juice in his sippy cup Dazai will be like “Oh? Does little Chibi wanna go play dress up?” But while he’s messing with Chuuya he’s also already going to the kitchen for more juice

₊ ⊹ Dazai isn’t very physically strong, but Chuuya’s just a baby! He can’t walk on his own! So I think they use the blanket carriage a lot! This means they set a blanket on the floor which Chuuya sits on and Dazai grabs the edge to drag Chuuya along! It still takes muscle on Dazai’s part, but not as much as picking Chuuya up would. Dazai of course is a big old jerk and purposefully drags Chuuya over every possible bump, which always earns him a glare from the redhead and usually some annoyed babbles as well

⛦ Almost totally forgot to actually include the detail of sleepy baby Chuuya not just baby Chuuya- But oh yeah this is a sleepy baby. Absolutely loves being rocked! He buys a rocking chair saying he just found it for a good price or something, but his bright red embarrassed face gives it away. The first time Dazai tests it out with a regressed Chuuya in his lap is the quickest Chuuya’s ever fallen asleep for him. Now Dazai just sits in the chair on his own when he wants Chuuya to regress because it’s Soukoku and they’re like allergic to talking like proper normal people

₊ ⊹ Tiny baby Chuuya gets sleepy so easy, but he doesn’t wanna sleep! He wants to stay up! Juuuuust a little longer. One more story, one more episode, one more… He’ll get fussy too. Because he doesn’t wanna sleep! So why is his dumb body getting tired? Dazai absolutely has a mute button (A pacifier) nearby before even attempting to mention bedtime, he knows that he’s going to need it, and he’s 100% right. Also usually a nice warm bottle of milk! Because Chuuya will cry when he gets fussy and he needs to stay hydrated!

1　 ﹒　Dazai and Ranpo skipping work for something pointless is not uncommon one bit, it’s simply harder to come up with reasons to skip out on work when you feel like a kid!

2　 ﹒　Sitting at a desk and filling out reports for hours at a time is no fun, Dazai’s well aware of that! It’s much much easier to simply have Kunikida do it, and of course, if he regresses, Kunikida wouldn’t have the heart to be mad at him for it this time, right?

3　 ﹒　So, slipping out was easy! Of course people would suspect something, but that’s not his problem! And it doesn’t take much longer for him to bump into a colleague of his, yes yes, a super respectable detective, one with a pacifier in his hand, one who seems shocked to see him.

4　 ﹒　Wasn’t it Ranpo who said that everything’s… predictable.. or something? For once, this made little sense to Dazai, and it didn’t matter much to him anyway, he needed somewhere secure to hide out.

5　 ﹒　But! Before Dazai can leave, Ranpo stops him with a proposal, something about showing him to the store so they can get as much candy as they’d like. At first, Dazai’s hesitant, he’s not sure if he deserves candy in the first place, and he’s almost certain it’s beginning to bleed out onto the mask he’s put up, that hesitance that the Dazai everyone knows wouldn’t usually hold.

6　 ﹒　It doesn’t take much longer for Ranpo to assure him, even less for him to persuade the other that it will be fun.

7　 ﹒　However, once they take their first step outside, the cold air brushes against their faces, stinging their noses pink, and out comes Kunikida!

8　 ﹒　Beginning his lecture, it doesn’t take long for him to realize the difference in their personalities, just how timid Dazai seems, how grumpy Ranpo seems, it makes sense almost instantly.

9　 ﹒　Kunikida can’t be mad at babies, can he?

1　 ﹒　I fear baby regressor dazai & “big kid” ranpo resonates with me, ranpo would hold his hand everywhere all through the ADA.

2　 ﹒　Kunikida has definitelyyyy gotten mad at them before when he wasn’t aware they were regressed methinks, definitely led to him hugging them for an hour straight rubbing up and down their backs gently. Like that one Gordon Ramsey meme.

3　 ﹒　Kunikida keeps notes of all of their interests, how old they regress to, everything in his notebook, he would be such an attentive caregiver. You just gotta let him know! ( which those two fail to do time and time again )

4　 ﹒　Ranpo & Dazai are definitely puzzle lovers when they’re regressed, it always leaves Dazai impressed when Ranpo solves them super quickly.

Trans little Dazai and Caregiver Chuuya headcanons!!

♡15!Chuuya had accidentally stumbled across 15!Dazai while he was regressing, Chuuya obviously didn't understand it nor did he understand why Dazai immediately burst into tears when he saw Chuuya...

♡After a few very,,awkward conversation Chuuya had agreed to care for Dazai while he was regressed as much as he could, even if he still doesn't really understand what it is.

♡I think Chuuya found out Dazai was trans while Dazai was regressed, like Dazai was complaining about his chest/ribs hurting and it being hard to breath, and Chuuya being the great caregiver he is had to investigate why,,,thay also how he found our Dazai was binding with bandages (He bought Dazai a proper binder the next day)

♡Dazai definitely gets fussy if he wears his binder while hes regressed, but he also gets fussy without his binder. Chuuya had to get him a binder that was to big for him so it wasn't as hard for him to breath while regressed

♡In general Dazai is a fussy baby, he has so many big emotions that he holds in till he's regressed and they come out in the form of tears. Luckily he is easily calmed down by cuddles and a warm bottle of milk

♡Chuuya bought Dazai a kitty plushie for Dazai, it is named 'Mackie' and looks very raggedy

♡Chuuya loves to call Dazai stuff like 'bubby' 'baby boy' 'little man' and Dazai usually just calls Chuuya 'Chu-Chu'

♡I think Chuuya buys Dazai a lot of 'little boys' clothes, stuff like long jean shorts, big t-shirts and tennis shoes! Honestly just anything that could help Dazai for more boyish while he regresses!

Warnings: None! (Surprising considering its Dazai right?)

Notes: I ACCIDENTLY POSTED THIS WHEN I HADN'T FINISHED IT YET :( anyway, I don't understand bsd characterization yet.. So if Dazai seems reallyy ooc I'm sorry :[ This is centered around reader or you~ But if you want him for actual characters feel free to send an ask and request :D

- Dazai is a very excited caregiver, he likes taking care of you and he isn't afraid to show it! He's very affectionate- Hand holding, kissing your forehead, holding you close. Lots of hugs!! And I mean lots.

- But Dazai is also secretly, very overprotective. He keeps you safe in ways you wouldn't notice unless you looked closely, but you are much too small for that !! So let Dazai cuddle you instead of walking near that alleyway- "Oh- Nope! No going over there~ It's cuddle time!!"

- Speaking of him being secretly overprotective, he's so silly that you won't notice him glaring at anybody who comes a bit too close for his liking!! If he even hears of port mafia members walking near the place you two are headed (because he obviously can sense Chuuya coming a mile away) he will switch walking routes instead of doing his thing where he purposefully walks down that road.

- He will probably baby you even when you're big, which means it's impossible to ignore your regression with him.. And you better not try. You're too busy? Not anymore!! You wanna focus on a project? Uh.. Nope!~ You can't regress? That's alright! Just let him wrap you in a blanket, give you a paci and watch your favorite cartoons together.

- Dazai uses you as an excuse alot to get out of doing paperwork- Kunikida is yelling at him and Dazai is just pouting, "My baby needs me! I can't stay here when my precious baby needs help-" and the thing you need help with is changing your cartoons, somehow it takes three hours before Dazai comes back to do paperwork.. But oh! Atsushi finished it already sooo-

- Dazai coos at you. Constantly. 24/7. You will literally breathe and Dazai is dying from how adorable you are, People know to avoid the room where you can hear the high pitched- "Awh you are such a cutie!!!- oh you need help? Ofcourse- AWHHH~~~"

- In the agency, no one cares you regress. However.. Kunikida IS TIRED OF DAZAI AVOIDING HIS PAPERWORK. So after a bit, they build you a little area near Dazai's desk where you can play.. Now he can't LEAVE. BECAUSE YOU ARE HERE- *Ahem.* anyway.

- But!. If you don't want others to know you age regress, or more specifically the agency- Then Dazai will keep it a secret! He's good at excuses, and very good at knowing when you are regressed or slightly drifting near your headspace. So if you guys are in a important meeting but you're starting to regress, Dazai literally does not care. Man will just pick you up and go "Okay cool, we are gonna leave now :D" just up and leaves with you in his arms.

- Dazai doesn't seem like much of a cook, and he isn't, but he can make the basics. You know those mom's who cut their children's lunch into shapes? Dazai does that. If you are older when regressed, he will make your food into funny shapes and HE LOVES IT. You caused him to start following millions of mom's just so he can keep getting new shapes and ideas.

- Dazai is SO into doing funny voices when you two play together, just hand him a stuffie you want him to play and he's already going into a voice and acting out things.. No matter how dramatic. And no, he isn't embarrassed about getting caught. He'll just drag whoever caught you two into it, so congrats! You'll have another playing buddy!

- If you prefer coloring, he's happy to color right with you! He started using the agency's printer to print out coloring sheets for you, (It also gets on Kunikida's nerves, I mean he loves you too! Thinks you are adorable, but seriously- please Dazai the printer is for agency matters-) and will happily buy you whatever materials you need.. Including finger paint. He's so supportive when you're messy. "All the great artists have caused messes!!" He reassures you.

- But if you are a smaller regressor, or maybe a more calm/sleepy one, he's good at being just quiet enough but still excited enough. If you are tired, he'll carry you. It's comforting to have you rest your head against his chest while he walks around, it's nice to know you are close.

- It's even cuter if when tired, you talk or do sleepy babbles because Dazai literally just nods quietly and goes "Mhmm... Oh really? Wow!" He's trying to stay as quiet as he can, but internally he's cooing :( look at his sweet baby, so sleepy.

- Dazai loves being called 'Dada', I mean, he loves whatever his baby will call him but dada makes him feel all warm inside because yes!!! He is your dada!! It makes him feel even more happy about being able to take care of you.

- Calls you 'His little star' or the most common 'his baby', Usually adds 'his' instead of just baby. A bit possessive, but he adores you too much for someone else to take care of you. "My little star, how about we cuddle and go to sleep together hm? Dada is so tiredd~"

HI. I’ve realized the agere community is drastically lacking Fyozai content </3 Headcanons for little Dazai and caregiver Fyodor? :3

I AGREE WE’RE SO LACKING FYOZAI STUFF!! :( So I’ll do my best to provide!

I think Fyodor would be sorta overprotective of Dazai even when he isn’t regressed because, yeah he’s mentally big but that’s still his baby! Of course, he isn’t obvious with it though since he still realizes Dazai is an adult, he just wants to keep him safe is all <33

I forever headcanon Dazai as a clingy baby and that doesn’t change here! He is constantly touching Fyodor in some way when he’s little. Whether that’s holding his hand, clinging to his arm, sitting/laying in his lap, etc. he just needs constant attention or he’ll get fussy. Luckily Fyodor doesn’t mind at all, he thinks it’s cute and it’s calming for him to rub Dazai’s head or hands.

Fyodor absolutely uses “fancy” pet names like Darling, Dear, Angel, Dearest, stuff like that cuz he’s old so he uses more classic names, which makes Dazai giggle a lot cuz that’s him! And he likes to rub it in that Fyodors old, he’ll just babble to him and randomly say old with the brightest smile and cutest giggle, trust it’s canon in my heart.

I think Dazai is pretty embarrassed about his regression, so he sometimes struggles to go down when he needs/wants to because he’s just thinking about how stupid he must look right now acting like a baby when he’s a grown man. Luckily Fyodor will calmly encourage Dazai, praising him for being so brave and trying to take care of his mental health and telling him that he can let go now because he’ll take care of everything. And he does, Fyodor takes extremely good care of him, he kinda reminds me of a really smart old lady in a way if that makes sense?

ADA cgs, Little Atushi and Kyōka..

Ranpo taking Atsushi and Kyōka out to play detective, setting up small mysteries for the pair to enjoy.

Kunikida ensuring they eat rounded meals, making breakfast, lunch and dinner with a stoic manner. Yet, smiling when he sees them clean their plates.

Dazai helping them use their skills for tasks they cannot perform themself. Such as using Demon Snow to cut the crusts from sandwiches, and using Beast Beneath the Moonlight to give piggy back rides safely.

Hi ash! Do you mind a new request? I was thinking about little atsushi and babysitter chuuya! I like to think that normally Dazai is his main cg, but sometimes when regressed Atsushi can't stay in the ADA (for whatever reason, maybe he's overwhelmed or the case they're a working on is a little to heavy for a child) and Dazai have to stay and work, he(Dazai) would take his little to Slug's house! Chuuya doesn't aadmit but he's great with kids!

That being said i like to hc Atsushi more as a kid regressor, but i know you like to write baby agere so do what makes you happy and i'll be happy as well!!!

Little Atsushi + Babysitter Chuuya

☆ I think that the first time they rely on Chuuya to babysit, Dazai stays with them! Not because he doesn’t trust Chuuya, Soukoku’s trust in each other knows no bounds. But he knows how anxious Atsushi would be, plus the abandonment issues. If he’d just dropped Atsushi off with this man he’d never met before and just left? Atsushi would be a total wreck. Dazai uses most of the time to just annoy Chuuya, but that does create a nice sense of normalcy that actually helps Atsushi relax! As long as the yelling is kept to a minimum, and Chuuya is pretty aware not to yell around a traumatized kid

⛦ As they start meeting up without Dazai they can actually grow closer! Chuuya starts learning things about Atsushi! Stuff like what foods he likes (All of them), his comfort items (A cat plushy and his teether), and his headspace age (4-6)! Chuuya takes the information he learns to make the absolute ideal safe space for Atsushi! Obviously he’ll never be like Dazai is to the boy, but he can still be a safe and comfortable place!

☆ Atsushi usually leaves Chuuya’s pretty happy! He always loves going back to Dazai and talking about how much fun he had! And Dazai has his own fun, giving Atsushi mean names to call Chuuya, giving him false information about Chuuya, and telling him the must effective ways to get whatever he wants from the mafioso! Chuuya is beyond frustrated and trying to get Dazai to stop causing problems, however Dazai claims it’s simply caregiver and little bonding! And as Atsushi giggles and nods along… Well how is he supposed to argue with that?

⛦ Pet names! Chuuya absolutely calls Atsushi “Cub” because. Baby tiger. He’s just a little cub trust. But Chuuya also uses nicknames like “Kiddo” or “Little One”! He doesn’t want to overstep by using to intimate of pet names. Atsushi’s main pet name for Chuuya is “Mommy”! Full blame goes to Dazai who started it, but now it just feels natural for the little tiger. He’ll also occasionally, in passing, call Chuuya “Chibi”, also Dazai’s fault of course, but he primarily just uses “Mommy”!

☆ As Chuuya finds out about Atsushi’s past and relates it to his own and that of so many of his old Sheep members… Chuuya determines it’s time for some serious spoiling. He buys Atsushi an onslaught of gear to start with, and every single time Atsushi comes to stay with him the little tiger leaves with a new present! He always tells Atsushi not to let Dazai touch the present because he’ll infect them with nasty Mackerel disease. Of course Atsushi instantly hands over all presents to Dazai to eagerly receive his caregivers approval though, no matter what Chuuya says

⛦ Cooking! I think Chuuya is a really good chef, and Atsushi loves to eat! A perfect combination hehe. Atsushi also loves to help! Chuuya can give him simple tasks to do to help out and Atsushi feels so amazing and helpful! I think they need to make a lot of finger foods, easy to pick up snacks, because Atsushi can’t use utensils to save his life. Like yes Chuuya can feed him and that makes Atsushi feel beyond amazing and so safe and tiny, but also he likes to just grab his food and shove it into his mouth! He’s practically trying to see how quick he can eat, partially because he’s used to as a kid needing to eat as quickly as possible before it’s gone

☆ Atsushi always loves having his tiger ears out when he’s with Chuuya! And sometimes his tail too! He can’t around Dazai because Dazai always accidentally deactivates the ability, so he’s so extra happy to do it around Chuuya! ☆ I think that once Atsushi learns to relax around Chuuya he’d want to go over to his house even when the agency isn’t busy! He’ll beg Dazai to take him over, and Dazai agrees of course! It usually ends with a game night, whether that’s board games, cards, or even video games! Soukoku ends up bickering and Atsushi doesn’t care in the slightest because it feels like he has a family for once, something he never truly got to have, and it’s only in those moments that he realizes how badly he wants to have one
