Welcome back to a collection of art pieces that I've had commissioned to celebrate You're the Two. This piece is the second of a four piece series that has been conceived by @buffaluff. The first three parts are a triptych of images that are designed to celebrate each pairing of the trio. Eddie/Tommy, Buck/Tommy, Buck/Eddie. The final piece is one that celebrates the three of them.

This piece, 'Hey, Papa Bear', is from the end of Chapter 22. Tommy is exhausted after doing everything in his power to keep Christopher safe during their helicopter crash and the Angeles National Forest Wildfire. Fortunately, he's not alone, and Buck (and Lucy) swoop in like guardian angels to whisk the two tired guys to safety.

I knew early on that I wanted there to be a helicopter crash. How can you have Tommy in a fic and NOT have a crash it seems. Originally, it was going to be Tommy and Eddie in the crash, and originally, there was no fire to go with it, but as I started developing the plot out to finish up the story, I needed some situations to create some different bits of tension, which eventually turned into how the story happens, with it being Tommy and Chris, and Buck having to help them since Eddie's still recovering from surgery.

Again, I'm so thankful for everyone that's read the story and left kudos and kind remarks. I could have never imagined when starting that it'd get the kind of reception it's gotten.
