Random buggy Kai thought bc I was working on my clay bug earlier

Centipedes live in dirt, old logs, leaf litter, and under rocks because it’s dark and damp.

So I feel like after being buggified, Kai has an inexplicable urge to scurry under rocks and return to the dirt

Like imagine Kai just starting at a big rock, hearing voices saying ‘return….return to the dirt Kai….’

And then he randomly disappears for like 6 hours, and reappears covered in dirt.

I need people to know how much ninjago monstrosity and the BugKai theory has wormed its way into my very easily distracted brain. I can’t think. I can’t speak. Unless it’s about Ninjago Monstrosity my brain won’t allow me to engage with it.

BUGS!!!!!!!! BUGS!!!!!!

So I actually do not know very much about bugs XD. They are a very very recent special interest because of Heroes Spirit Cori. Most of the bug knowledge I know is from writing his bug fics lolololol. So far this special interest does not seem to include Remembering Facts ™ XD (but that does not make it less valid!)

Hmmmmm favorite bug...,,..,. I really like beetles and dragonflies!!! Some of my friends and I have a thing called Bug Wednesday where every Wednesday we send pictures of bugs we've found during the week. I really really like going outside to look for bugs. It's a great way to connect with nature and look at the ecosystems from a different perspective!!!

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.

edit: people are starting to say some "my worst nightmare" or "eeeww no that one is yucky and scary" comments on this like they do on any bug post and id like to say. it's fine if you don't like bugs it's fine if you're scared of bugs but don't put that on MY post clearly talking about how much i like them and how cute i think they are. you can make your own damn post about how much you hate wasps or spiders or whatever. i'm blocking people who make these kinds of comments.

One of my favorite stories to tell about myself from when I was a kid is the story how my grandma’s “Catching Fairies” game was banned because of me

So when I was really little my grandma had this game she made up, she’d give me and all my cousins jars and containers and tell us that in her garden there were fairies but they were smart and tricky so they disguised themselves as caterpillars and butterflies and as grasshoppers and worms.

Whoever caught the most ‘Fairies’ won but we had to set them all free because they tended to the garden

One summer day my brothers were at the age they were dreading ‘girly’ stuff so I was playing alone

At this point I had met all the fairies in the garden and I was getting bored without any competition and with finding the same old fairies

But then just as I was begrudgingly heading back to my grandma with the same fairies as usual I found a new fairy!

I thought she was so beautiful! She was resting on the sparkly thread in the leaves and her black body gleamed in the sunlight, she had long legs and a cool red spot on her back

Excited I coaxed her onto my hand and was so giddy I found a new one! I rushed back to the farm house to show my Grandma and Dad, gently carrying my new friend.

But when my Dad and Grandma turned around to see what fairy I caught I saw the color drain from their faces and both of them freeze, I could tell something was wrong but didn’t understand

My dad congratulated me and asked me if he could see the pretty fairy, I let him but felt a little nervous seeing how terrified he looked as she moved into his hands from mine.

Slowly he walked back towards the door, my grandma clutching my shoulders then my dad LAUNCHED the fairy back into the garden which I thought was rather rude

Then we had a nice long talk about Black Widow spiders
