Jus wanna say I hope you don't mind me reblogging lots of stuffs from your blog ...I really love xmen !
Oh I don't mind at all! I appreciate it a lot, in fact! 🥺
It's comforting knowing there's other regressors out there with similar interests! 😊 Especially during times like this week where I've been super stressed and just mentally not doing well. These blogs have been my rock, and I probs wouldn't have held onto them for so long if it weren't for all the people who interact with me and encourage me, so thank you. 💕
#sorry bout the rambling 😅 lowkey a mess over here but pushing through#alien asks#bugs alien journal

hc jonny d'ville eats the weirdest shit for funsies. Not necessarily weird food combos, but straight up humanly unconsumable objects (wires, plastic, colorful bugs, ect). He's eaten a whole roll of butter paper. Just cause he could.
I think it starts off as morbid curiosity when he's first mechanized to test out the limits of his body. Later on, he just does it cause he can. Or for shock value. Does it end up with him dead 85% of the time? Maybe.
His crewmates chase after him, yelling "WHAT'S THAT IN YOUR MOUTH. SPIT IT OUT!!!!" for the first millennium or so, but later on start making bets with him on it. Hey I bet this colorful alien bug will kill you in under two hours. Yes I'll give you my share of the booze if it doesn't. Raphaella has a bunch of journals detected to the things he's eaten and their effects.

Kali: Artographer
The discovery of never-before-seen artwork—vivid, psychedelic, treatment-texured and intensely-colorful photographic prints and Polaroids—of a 1960s runaway housewife named Joan Archibald from Long Island, reborn in Malibu and then Palm Springs as Kali, has been gathered in a trade photo book for the very first time. Her prodigious output, which was rarely seen in the 60s and 70s and then locked away for 40 years, is nothing less than “California’s Vivian Maier” according to Matt Tyrnauer in his substantial essay in this new book. “The singular work of a California photographer, unearthed.”—The New Yorker Joan Archibald left her Long Island home and family in 1966, and ran away to the West Coast to reinvent herself as Kali and take up photography at the College of the Desert in Palm Springs. After palling around with the likes of Richard Chamberlain in Malibu, she moved to a house in Palm Springs once owned by Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee, and began creating “Artography” in earnest as Kali: haunting portraits and double-exposed landscapes made with film, developed in her large bathtub, and finished by hand coloring with dyes, spray paint, and even dirt and bugs, in her swimming pool. Trippy, painterly, intensely colorful prints and later Polaroids were made and seldom seen outside a tight circle (one muse was a teenage Cindy Sherman). She published a few pieces in photo magazines, but by the late 70s locked the work away in suitcases inside a locked shed, never to be seen again for over 40 years. Kali’s daughter, when cleaning out the house after her death, discovered the work and something more: journals and journals of photos from closed circuit TV monitors, copied and illustrated with diagrams, drawings and coded notes: she had been housebound for years, convinced that aliens and supernatural beings were visiting, spooking, and tormenting her, perhaps trying to make contact. The discovery of the work by Kali’s daughter Susan Archibald and her ex Len Prince is being heralded as a west coast version of the Vivian Maier discovery, and a limited edition release of a four-volume set of the work (Matt Tyrnauer essay monograph, Portraits and Landscapes, Polaroids, and Outer Space) was published to wild acclaim in the fall of 2021 (Kali Ltd. Ed., powerHouse Books). The first major museum exhibition to show Kali’s work will open at the Columbus Museum of Art September 10, 2022 and run through March 12, 2023, and travel thereafter.

Boy oh boy this has been a long one! Sorry it's taken so long. Rotation 9 began all the way back on March 20th which means it's taken me around six and a half months to get through everyone. During this time I have also been plagued by a bad IBS flare up that leaves me fatigued so my guess is that's why things took much longer than normal.
While all households collectively aged a year and three quarters when you put it all together we've lived through 17 and a half years of sim time for a total of 70 sim days. Thank you for joining me on the journey! I'm going to be taking the rest of the month of October off from long form writing while I build SBL back up and engage in Simblreen antics. Rotations and Growing with Glenn will start back up in November.
Now, on to the noteworthy stuff! Main points followed by chapter summaries below the cut. Time to celebrate my sims achievements!
Five Sims Promoted - One max career!
Nine Skills Maxed
Eight New Builds
Seven Birthdays
One Wedding
Four Household Adoptions
York Household, Chapter 9
Calista and Aaron made their first nectar but mostly they were in parent/grandparent mode. Deanna was dumped by Paris and had a bad bug but still passed her first term of university. The youngest York aged up, realised they were trans, and she has renamed herself Artemisia, or Emi or Emisia to her friends and family.
2. Chopra Household, Chapter 6
Rahul worked from home all week to help with his young family. Mercedes and Savannah aged up to children and have started school. Savannah is still feeling the effects of her motor delay while Mercedes may have a speech delay but turns out to be gifted. Viola aged up into a wild toddler and the household is due another shake up as Cassandra discovered she is pregnant for the third time!
3. Romero Household, Chapter 1
Marta helped her fiance Keira learn about Dia de los Muertos as they paid respect to those in the forever save who couldn't attend the wedding. Keira began her job at the Marine Life Institute and Marta met some of her neighbours after barista shifts. Then the couple were married at Willow Creek church and honeymooned in Sulani. They are currently looking at options for having kids.
4. Pancakes Household, Chapter 9
Eliza got promoted to level 9 of the corporate career. She and Bob decided that rather than have another pregnancy they would adopt so infant Tiana joined the family. Ginger got another fur sibling as dog Strawberry joined the household. Fergus aged up to a materialistic teen and after a week of working on their grades and cheer skills Onyx finally got their horse, named Maelstrom.
5. New Goth Household, Chapter 4
Alexander and Milton retrieved Bella's old journals for Milton to begin reading, and the family celebrated Harvestfest with the Chopras. Alexander and James talked about having kids, and James admitted he would like to adopt a teen rather than having an infant. Milton went through a bear phase and Ariadne was adopted by the couple.
6. Villareal Household, Chapter 6
Joey released his first video game and became a one star celebrity. Devin filmed a pirate film and her regular TV series. Luna spent most of her time trying to patch things up between her younger brother Max and his wife. Alfred broke many dollhouses and Rilian got a kiddie pool to play in.
7. Nishidake Household, Chapter 7
It was a speedrun for this family but both Charlie and Kaori have finally reached the rock climbing skill needed to attempt to make it to the mountain summit. Clover learned to not eat trash but continued to knock the bin over for fun.
8. Woods Household, Chapter 2
The murder mystery took a backseat this time. The couple met the Moonwood Collective and Samir ranked up to a Veteran werewolf. Reece started his biology degree and hosted some meditation sessions. The pair have also discovered they are fated mates.
9. Knightstone Household, Chapter 9
It was festive season for the aliens in Chestnut Ridge. While Adam worked on his skills angling for that final promotion he managed to publish three books. Suzanna had a tough time with coworker Faye but reached a truce for the sake of their careers. She also finished a third collection, the My Sims trophy collection. Silas grew closer with fellow aliens Ruth and Tyree and showed off a Red Coral at show and tell. Pollock aged from an infant into a toddler and continued to learn.
10. Foster Household, Chapter 9
Winter ended in Sulani. Harvey managed to get promoted but didn't catch any new types of fish this time. Kayleigh sold enough paintings to become a global Superstar and was our first sim to reach the top of her career! The focus was mainly on Carson who was navigating a crush while figuring out his identity as an asexual. Clumsy flirting eventually led to him officially being Ariadne's boyfriend though.
Woah that was a lot huh? I need to rearrange my navigation for this save before rotation 11 starts but any pressing thoughts? Any bits you loved or hated? How was the new bold and colour coded dialogue? Did it make it any easier to follow when multiple people were talking? Any things you wish will or won't happen next time?

Just a drabble bc I love the 10th Doctor. You can find this on my Ao3 as well. Warning: English is not my first language. Reader is gn. Enjoy!!

It had been a rough day. Month. Year. Like all of the ones that constellated your life, actually. It was nothing new, not really. Looking back, you had made a lot of mistakes. Still not out of the ordinary. However, there had been something you really couldn't have foreseen.
Exploring the whole of space and time (or, at least for now, parts of it, one at a time) had not been on your New Year's Bingo. Otherwise, you could've crossed that square out by the time spring had greeted your town with open arms and warm, windy days. The days had been full of rainstorms, at first, and it had bugged you out; turns out, though, the pouring rain had been crucial for your life to take a very unexpected turn, one you had learned to appreciate with the passing of time.
You had been waiting the bus home for a while now. Even under your umbrella the rain had soaked your clothes enough to make you sigh at the watch on your wrist, which was ticking too slowly for your taste. Looking up, the gray clouds seemed to be smirking teasingly at your frustrated expression. A few raindrops landed on the tip of your nose, making you look down again.
It was then that a stranger silently joined you on the sidewalk, the both of you looking at the road, apparently waiting for the same thing. You hadn't thought much of it had the time.
"Cold, eh?" said the stranger, making you turn your head to look at him. You gave the man a timid smile. "Cold and rainy. No snow, though, so December can be scrapped" he added, almost as if talking to himself. His weird comment made you chuckle. Then, the both of you returned to your quiet lookout.
"So what is it, then?" he spoke after a while.
You were confused. "What?"
"What month is it? Can't be December, can it?"
Your eyebrow was raised. "It's March," you stated, "March the thirty-first."
"Ah." He didn't look amused. "With this rain? Really?"
"Really," you confirmed. "It's going against all weather forecasts. This storm has been going on for a week. It's a bit of a legend now, actually."
The (mad)man looked up at the sky. "How much ground does it cover?"
"They say it's the whole region."
He tilted his head. "Must be a hell of a spaceship" he muttered to himself. You'd heard him loud and clear, though, so your expression had morphed into a confused one.
Your phone had rang an instant later. Unknown number. Before you even bothered to press the green button, however, the man beside you told you not to answer. He seemed deadly serious. Your mouth opened to ask for an explanation, but remained quietly agape while the stranger extracted a very odd shiny pen which made a long vibrating sound and used it to scan (?) your phone. A bright green light suddenly coming from the screen startled you, causing your hand to drop the object. "Let's get away from here, it's dangerous" the man had shouted, taking your hand and dragging you away. Your heart was racing too fast in your chest to allow your throat to make any noise to even complain, so you hadn't.
A few hours and too many alien encounters later, your town had supposedly been saved. The clouds (which had apperently been hiding an alien spaceship from sight, previously) had dissipated, the rain had stopped and a smile curved your lips and the Doctor's (the stranger from the bus stop) upwards while sharing a look stained with fondness for each other. The rest was history. Like you'd learned he was accostumed to do with all his other companions, he had taken you aboard the TARDIS to see everything the universe had to offer. A year had passed since that day: a year in the TARDIS, away from home. You had returned a couple times, sure, but only for a few days at a time, and that same spring had not yet passed. You had grown a year older without anyone noticing. Well, anyone besides the Doctor. On your journal, you marked the three-hundred-and-sixty-fifth day of knowing the Doctor.
You had obviously grown closer to him. He had taken you everywhere you had requested; you had met Mozart, Leonardo, Amy Winehouse, Alexander the Great, Virgilius and countless other geniuses from every time period imaginable. The Doctor had also spoiled you with trips on other planets, so very far from your own that your brain couldn't even process it. You had experienced so many things: foods, music, cultures, rituals, dances, gadgets, landscapes, shores, people, animals, beasts, technology from galaxies not even scientists had discovered yet, and maybe didn't have any way of discovering any time soon. The Doctor had obviously bewitched you; how could the thought of a man with the entire universe at the reach of his fingertips not make your head spin? The thought of someone caring about you, someone that could make the best of every situation, making you shiver with worry at one moment and smile, relieved, in another? The rollercoster of emotions that came with travelling with the Time Lord wasn't a burden; if anything it had been a liberation from the mundane life you had lived before meeting the Doctor. Looking back at the dullness of it, you couldn't help but feel a shiver making its way down your spine. If you had known the real vastness of the universe sooner, you would've lost your mind with no way to reach it. And now? Now you were afraid of losing your mind once back inside that empty loop, safe from everything but yourself. After all, it had been a year already. Even if no-one else but you and the Doctor saw it, even if for your friends you had been gone for just a few hours, you could see it clearly. Your hair had grown and your nails kept needing trimming; time kept passing, no matter where the Doctor took you, no matter how much time you spent in the TARDIS or back home or on another planet or in another century. That worried you, along with the possibility of never making it back home safe. The Doctor had warned you about it multiple times, and of course you had told him that you didn't care as long as you got to see the universe, which was the truth, but there was always that voice in the back of your head wondering about what everyone would have thought in case you couldn't have made it back home.
Inside your room, in the TARDIS, you could hear the engine of the ship hum its neverending song. It usually helped you rest after a long day with the Doctor, but with every thought you had in mind it had been impossible to expect getting even just a wink of sleep. To try and distract yourself, you got out of bed and made your way over to the control room, sitting on the cold metallic floor.
The Doctor joined you shortly after with a frown. "What's wrong?" he asked, guessing your mood. "I thought you were tired."
"I am," you replied while he sat next to you. "But I can't sleep."
"Is there something keeping you up?"
You gave him a tiny smile. "Yes, but nothing you should worry about." You didn't want to bug him with your doubts.
He nodded slightly, then lowered his chin, his lips pressed together, and looked up at you with his eyebrows raised, as if to ask, "are you sure?"
Your smile widened, and your hand reached for his in response. His gorgeus, gorgeous eyes admired your fingers while he entertwined them with his own. He looked back at you with a smirk, his other arm going from resting on his thigh to stretching out, asking whether you wanted a hug. You gladly accepted the silent offer, moving closer to the Doctor, pressing your ear on his chest and hearing his two hearts beating in unison while he held you tight. Enveloped in his embrace, you realized.
He was home to you.

i follow plenty of people on here that have very personal blogs and talk about their life and their thoughts/emotions at length and i find it very comforting to read and very interesting! to have a glimpse into someone's head! i don't know why i hesitate to do the same myself, i find it therapeutic to unload my thoughts like that and not have it be just speaking into a void (like a journal) necessarily. i guess i feel isolated in my experiences and im used to feeling more alienation and shame talking about it rather than relief. very funny considering online is like the only place i can actually remind myself im not the only gnc woman in the entire world, and my interests/hobbies aren't weird and actually shared by many people, and i can talk to other ukrainians (that aren't my family or close circle of friends ive had since forever) that will understand my pain of your home being ravaged by war. im trying not to rely on an internet bubble for uh human contact and socialization because im aware its Bad for me and for anyone, but going outside i feel like to others i have 8 fucking legs or something, i dont know, not to be trite but i understand kafka's turning into a giant bug and going to work metaphor completely, it does fucking feel like that.

🧚♂️ Wings of Legacy Challenge (10 Generations of Fairy Lore)
I asked chat gbt to come up with a fairy legacy challenge and this is the result !
Core Concept: A lost fairy bloodline must restore its magic and rebuild its mystical society across ten generations. Each heir embodies a different fairy type or elemental theme (nature, mischief, moonlight, etc.), slowly restoring magic to the world and building a hidden fairy realm.
🔮 Mod Notes (Optional But Recommended)
Use fairy mods like SpinningPlumbobs’ Fairies Mod or Lot 51’s Wings & Sparkles for a full experience.
If you’re playing unmodded, use Spellcaster, Vampires with altered gameplay, or creative CAS to simulate fairies.
Use lots like Sylvan Glade, Magic Realm, and Windenburg’s forests for fairy vibes.
🌱 Gen 1 – The Forgotten One
Theme: Nature Fairy (The Last of Her Kind)
Start as a spellcaster or "hidden fairy" living alone in the woods.
Live off the land—gardening, foraging, fishing only.
May not have a job—earn money through nature.
Must discover Sylvan Glade or reach the Magic Realm.
Goal: Grow a perfect garden. Have a child in secret (your heir).
🔥 Gen 2 – The Emberling
Theme: Fire Fairy (Rebel Spirit)
Breaks away from tradition and moves to the city or a modern home.
Must have the Hot-Headed or Erratic trait.
May only cook with fire (no quick meals, microwave).
Master Mischief or Comedy skill.
Goal: Get kicked out of a club or lose a relationship to conflict. Build a fire-themed room or garden.
💧 Gen 3 – The Dewdrop
Theme: Water Fairy (Peaceful and Empathic)
Must live near water: Brindleton Bay, Sulani, or a riverside lot.
Must swim, bathe, or relax in water daily.
Can only marry a Sim they save from drowning or comfort after a death.
Master Wellness or Painting skill.
Goal: Have a serene wedding near water. Reach max empathy if Parenthood is installed.
🌬️ Gen 4 – The Whisperwind
Theme: Air Fairy (Traveler & Dreamer)
Must move worlds at least twice.
Can’t stay on the same lot for more than 1 week until reaching YA.
Must keep a journal (or write 5 books).
Aspiration: Freelance Botanist or Fabulously Wealthy.
Goal: Reach level 10 in Photography or Writing. Have a child with a Sim from a different world.

❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀
Kori is a bubbly, pint-sized bundle of joy with a heart as big as her imagination. At 9 years old, she’s the kind of kid who sees magic in everything. She’s always got a pocket full of treasures: shiny rocks, crumpled drawings, coins, and the occasional bug. Sweet, curious, and above all brave, Kori will always try to be there for her friends even though to her that means getting them to run away.

TMNT
Info about my iteration tmnt:
Yoshi (Splinter) is from the hidden city, when he turned 25 he went to explore the world above. He gets himself into shit, finds a bunch of baby turtles with goop on them, and becomes a father (btw, bro comes from a pretty shitty household full of generational trauma).
He runs away to raise the turtles, and ends up finding a nice little space in the sewers, to which he builds them a home.
Donnie and Raph are twins both 16 with an hour age difference, Leo is the middle child at 15 and Mikey is the youngest at 14. Casey is a 16 year old transgender bitch and April is a 17 year old Girlflux KRAANG hybrid thing. O’neils mother really just banged a mushy alien thing that can shape-shift into anything in the universe.
Donnie:
Galapagos Tortoises
16 (oldest child, older than Raph by an hour)
Intersex, Biromantic, they/them
Has a dinosaur obsession, likes learning about the human body and other animals, like trains and machines, has probably had a couple lab rats and just didn't tell Yoshi (Splinter). Bro definitely knew.
Usually a bit too big for clothes, so he gets Raph to make most of them to make them bigger. Usually wears "baggy" pants (they ain't baggy on him), long sleeve thermals and flannels.
Raph:
Common Snapping Turtle
16 (second oldest, younger by an hour)
Bisexual, He/ Him
He likes sewing, knitting and painting. Has a massive collection of old magazines, comics, books and other random items because he has a hard to giving stuff up.
Has a little pet turtle named Slusher. He will fight you over food and will bite you if deserved.
Usually wears windbreaker pants, singlets and jackets.
Leo:
Painted Terrapin
15 (middle child)
Unlabelled, Trans Fem, She/Her She likes skating, finding cool bugs and watching si-fi movies. She's not really into horror movies, but can handle them. If you give her the chance she'll talk on and on about her interest in Galactic Heros (similar to space heros). She also really likes glitter.
She'll probably eat anything. Like. Anything.
Usually wears sweaters, leg warmers and tracksuit pants.
Mikey:
Spotted Turtle
14 (youngest)
Aromantic, Agender, usually just uses it/they
They're a very random person, and would probably eat anything and everything. They definitely collect hot wheels and all that stuff. Bro has a 2000s alt fashion mixed with little boy vibe to them, it think it's really cool. They like to express itself with bright colours.
Usually wears beanies, shorts, hand gloves, shirts and ties. Sometimes bracelets too.
Yoshi (Spliter):
Rat Yoki
41 (father of turtles)
Demisexual, He/Him
He's extremely new to parenting even now, has had no idea what he was doing from day one. He's not the best father but he tries. Watches soccer, dramas and soap operas. Gets all their from the thrift store or the bins. Has a bracelet that disguises him as human. Usually wears a band t-shirt and sweatpants or pyjama pants.
April O'Neil:
Part Indian, Part KRAANG
17 (friend of the turtles, has an older brother)
Sapphic, Girlflux (she/her, they/them, she/ they)
She can "shape-shift"into pretty anything as long as they can picture it. It's a defence mechanism of the KRAANG. It's basically camouflage. She's able to hide their ear tentacle things, which are usually used for hunting things down and connecting to other KRAANGs. She's a pretty good fighter, and usually uses a baseball bat. And she usually hides her KRAANG features.
They also play baseball. They moved from Michigan when she was 13. She's into filming, journalism and photography.
Usually wears long sleeves, jeans, converses, cardigans and her homemade necklaces and earrings.
Casey Jones:
Part Mexican, Part American.
16 (friend to turtles, oldest child of two)
Bisexual, Trans Masc (He/Him)
He's a bit of a trouble maker. Especially after he moved back in with his dad after his mother died. His dad had no idea he was trans, but didn't really care, cause he'd always wanted a son. He's a big hockey fan, watches and plays. Never misses practice or a game. He eventually becomes captain.
Born and raised in New York. He's lost a couple of teeth but he's all good. He's broken his nose twice, busted his lip, fractured he's knee, elbow and a couple of his fingers. Did get put on medical marijuana for a bit after he'd been bashed against the barrier, causing him to dislocate his shoulder. He's a pretty good skater, on and off the ice, and really enjoys it. Usually wears jeans, tops and/or singlets and boots.

Timothy:
Korean
16 (friends with the turtles)
Omnisexual, he/him
He grew up with his mum and little brother in a farm house. They moved to New York when his mother gets a job. He's really into basketball, and is pretty good at it. He's kinda like Troy from High School Musical. But gayer and better. His mother met Sunita's dad, they hit it off and he and his little brother become step siblings with Sunita. He likes singing, basketball and books. He has nothing to do with his dad.
