Someone: So what kind of animal do your characters fear the most? Which creature could possibly strike terror into the hearts of amphibians and reptiles? Oh, I bet it’s a big mammal. Like a coyote, or a bear!
Me: Well, actually…

The Secret of Lidian, 2025 Mass-attack on several Hunters Unlucky fans for Art Fight
DRAMATIS PERSONAE under the cut
FELOI the ferryshaft, our scrappy protagonist. Hobbies include rapping, quipping and getting into trouble. Character belongs to @lostfox
BRUTUS and KOSITT, our creasia comic relief pair. Brutus has a short fuse, Kositt enjoys playing pranks on her. Slapstick ensues! Character belongs to @lostfox
CHIBO is creasia cat team mom. She finds Brutus' and Kositt's antics endearing and merely giggles at the most violent of scuffles. Character belongs to @elliejaybird
MOUSARA the running gag curb. Her efforts to build a trap is constantly and unwittingly sabotaged by the other characters. Character belongs to @peculiurperennial
MONBREIR and FRAY the gay coded ferryshaft herd leaders. Monbreir catches birds and acts like a cartoon dog and Fray poses dramatically on top of cliffs scouts as if his life depended on it. Monbreir belongs to @vveedwart and Fray to @bookshelfpassageway
KIRO the adorable ferryshaft foal. He tawks wike dis. Character belongs to @bookshelfpassageway
SEETHE the blind telshee. With scars like that, 80's movie villany was all but guaranteed. Character belongs to @swordsandspectacles
ACRISS the mystical sparkling flying jellyfish. Purpose unknown, but they sure look hella cool! Acriss and the entire Hunters universe belong to @alhilton

This Blog is dedicated to posting updates for "Bignose's Home" a comic based on a lifegen playthrough with premade characters!
This comic will follow the general style of other Clangen comics, however it will differ in the fact that I do have an idea of where I want the story to go and I am using the events in game more as a suggestion!
Read on Tumblr!
Read on ComicFury!

You can call me Cryptid/Sam! I use he/they/she pronouns! I'm a 22 yr old graphic design student and am often very busy but I'm hoping to have enough time to update somewhat regularly!
My main Warriors blog is @cryptidclaw ! And I post non-warriors stuff @clowncryptids
Bignose's Origins:
Bignose appears in my previous comic @whispering-clan HOWEVER all events in the Whisperingclan comic are NO LONGER CANON as it is being rewritten! Bignose and his clan are no longer a part of Whisperingclan's story and Whisperingclan will not be in this comic. I wanted the chance to explore Bignose's story on its own and to it's full potential!
Bignose as a character originated before Whisperingclan and has been an OC of mine for a while, along with his mother and brother! He is one of my most beloved characters and I am very exited to give him a story!
Here is his origin post!

One thing that I have mixed feelings on in xenofiction is when the characters have unique terminology for certain things within their world, because sometimes they make sense and sometimes they don't.
In The Land Before Time, it makes perfect sense for them to use common names like "Sharptooth" and "Threehorn" because they obviously wouldn't be using latin/greek based scientific names invented by mammals that won't exist for another 66+ million years. But, words like "treestar" and "The Great Circle" feel a bit more forced. Why not just say "leaf" and "sun"?
Same goes for Warriors. I think "thunderpath" and "monster" make sense because they're very unnatural things, and their actual purpose is unknown to the cats. But it bugs me when they don't just use "spring/summer/autumn/winter" for the seasons.
And "twoleg" seems unnecessary also. It's not uncommon for xenofiction to allude to humans through pseudonyms, but I don't really know why... I would think humans would be ubiquitous enough for feral cats to just call them that. Even Wings of Fire does this, which is odd because "scavenger" is the only unique term for a real-world creature Wings of Fire has. And Guardians of Ga'Hoole... well I don't remember if they had a name for humans, but they would have an actual excuse because humans are extinct in that world (though they do straight up just use scientific names in those books). Watership Down just calls them "men", so that's nice.
Watership Down probably does it best, because they do have their own names for things, but they also use the regular names. The only exception might be "Frith" but that works with the world because the rabbits believe the sun to be the creator god.

I want more invertebrate xenofiction! And not just ants and bees! I want Polistes wasps having a game of thrones. I want earwig mother raising her young. I want adventurous jumping spider learning about the wide, beautiful world. I want fruit fly romance. I want cockroach family soap opera.

looking for a new piece of xenofiction
ask the creator if their xenofiction is Watership Down or Warrior Cats
they don’t understand
pull out illustrated diagram explaining what is Watership Down and what is Warrior Cats
they laugh and say ‘It’s good xenofiction sir’
look inside
it’s Warrior Cats

A species of blep from cold steppes. Like most species of furred tetrapods, it keeps its young in a pouch for months until they are hardy enough to run about and eat solid food. It eats lichens, roots and mosses primarily, but is an opportunistic scavenger if those prove scarce. It lives in groups of variable sizes, with complex familial dynamics, but these groups can be spread out over great distances; they communicate by loud bellows that cover long distances despite great winds.

It's done! My giant Duncton Wood family tree! This is as accurate to the text as I could make it, hopefully I didn't miss anyone.
Some notes:
It's not confirmed that the female from the Five Clouds system had Lucerne's pups, but she does have descendants, so I decided to toss some hypothetical Lucerne babies up on the tree. Schrodinger's pups...
Feverfew is described as a white mole on the Duncton Wood wiki, but I was unable to find anything in the text matching that, so she's gray here.
Tryfan and Feverfew might have had more than one pup, but only one actually makes it to an on-page appearance (the rest are... eaten?), and then the poor little guy dies before we get a name or gender. I drew them mostly because I felt bad, haha.
Quince doesn't have a canonical fur color, so I decided to make her blonde, like a quince fruit! Please. I drew 50 moles. I may draw 50 more. I wanted to have a little fun-
