i must know: is the manic episode where Starscream indulges in the lobster till carapace is in splinters happening before and after BD's death? Intuition and common sense suggest after. and how high does KO rank it in his list of 'best to worst encounters'?

I defaulted to after, but if Breakdown was still alive I can vividly picture him waking up the adjacent recharge chamber due to the noise and peeking in to make sure his boss is okay, and then promptly raising both hands in a somewhat-amused ‘you know, this one is not my problem’ way and slipping back out, and Knock Out is there getting his shit rocked flailing reaching for the door like “WAIT!! BREAKDOWN, NO!! COME BACK!! AT LEAST THROW ME A SEDATIVE” before Starscream grabs his chin to turn his head like *CRAZED* “Ah-ah, eyes on me, Doctor 😀”

And then the next day Breakdown is fighting for his life not to laugh his ass off at the scene of the crime:

Against all odds it would not rank on the “worst” side of the spectrum to Knock Out… But Starscream’s morning after clarity crashout threatens to change his mind 💀

(Just in case to be clear, I don’t ship Knock Out and Breakdown romantically in their TFP iterations! Their friendship and silly mad doctor + henchman dynamic is so important to me though ;u; But my OTPs are KOSS and BulkBreak ♥️)

That being said, KOBD is a NOTHING BURGER of a ship with little to no lore, and their fans make it all the more insufferable.

I've seen so many comments on posts where either party is shipped with another character going "Breakdown/Knockout won't be happy with this" "Isn't Knockout married to Breakdown" "KOBD is canon what's this supposed to be".

The fans go after KnockScream/KOSS, SmokeOut/KOSM, BulkBreak/BHBD, and other rarepairs to the point that they harass the artists for it. It's annoying.

KOBD is a bland ship, and fans of the ship should stop attacking other shippers for liking what they like.

He could hear occasional footsteps as he skidded about the corner running out of the room and into the Hideaway itself. Where to hide? Where to hide?! If this ended up like their last game of Hide and Seek where poor Joshua ended up locked in the infirmary... Well, Rylan just needed to find a better hiding place out in the open this time if it turned into that so the game could continue for a long time if the other was up for it.

Darting into a large barrel that was turned on its side, Rylan glanced behind his shoulder with a sigh. The coast seemed clear for now which means that the game was going in his favor that is until he felt it tipping upward leaving the little boy at the literal bottom of the barrel. In seconds, he was in darkness. What just happened? How long was he out here for? There was no way it was time to go to bed! Unless Joshua was much slower than he initially thought. Even though he stood on his tip-toes the top of the barrel was out of his reach.

A sudden movement caused Rylan to jerk forward as the shipping barrel was loaded onto a bulkbreak cargo hold. By the time things settled down, he was already loaded onto a ship's deck that was planning on sailing within the next two hours. What was he going to do?! He was stuck, yet he needed to be quiet to win the game. The tiniest of words were said hoping that he wouldn't be overheard for the game to stop. "Help."

I feel like in the sexban au, Cyclonus and Tailgate are an autobot and decepticon respectively, and their relationship develops from a Situation (situationship?) They don't know it yet, but they're destined to be together

I just feel like tragic past Bulkhead x Breakdown would hurt, and it makes sense for it to happen in this era where the line between decepticon and autobot isn't as sharp and defined as it would be soon enough.

Now I feel like Driftrod/Rodlock was a mild enemies to lovers situation, torn on the exact details though
