This is the most stupid thing I've done all year but I was already too far into it when I started regretting it XD

I don't usually do this kind of thing but the concept had been rotating in my mind for a few weeks and I needed to get it out

I have a few ideas but this was already long enough and it felt like a good spot to cut it off, buut I want to see if people like it so 👉👈 hope you enjoyed it

So here it is, Chapter 1 AAAA!!!! Time destroyed Four in that poll omg, the ancient technique always works >:). They both cheated in their own ways tho. I loved that almost everyone agreed that Time should win in his corn maze regardless of the paths XDD.

And never bet with Legend, he always manages to win. Ravio is proud of Mr Hero >:·P

Okay but it's super interesting how

Din = Power = Ganondorf

Naryu = Wisdom = Zelda

Farore = Courage = Link.

Because Din, in the hylian creation myth, created the physical world. Naryu then created the laws - gravity, time, etc. And Farore finally created life - plants and people.

Din created the body, naryu the mind, Farore the soul.

And the triforce and its wielders so perfectly reflect that.

Ganon is physical power, he is big and intimidating and he breaks things. He is cunning and determined, but that's not what he focuses on. He is might makes right.

Zelda is wisdom and cleverness. She is stall tactics and information and team work. She is a powerful mage with a spine of steel, but that's not how she'll win. She is the pen being mightier than the sword.

Link is courage and persistence. He is the wild card sneaking behind enemy ranks, always moving, plunging into terrifying situations head first. He's a phenomenal fighter with a keen wit, but that's not what will get him through his challenges. He is bravery not being the absence of fear but the triumph over it.

They sit in perfect parallels to each other.

And ganon is reborn through his body - his resurrection is immortality. No matter how low he is cast, as long as he has a body he can claw his way back. He can cling to his power, build it ever higher.

Zelda is reborn through the magic of her bloodline. It's the accumulated knowledge handed down for generations, the unique power she must master, the skills she must develop to survive and get her kingdom out the other side intact. Even her name, the knowledge of herself, is handed down from all the way from the very first. Her ancestors knowledge of her future presence, her stability, is what gives her the edge.

Link is reborn in spirit. He is not bound by flesh or blood. Just like his wanderlust soul he can reappear in any time or place. His variation, his unpredictability, is exactly how he fights. It's what makes him so hard to pin down.

Ganons need to build strength means he can't chase after link. Links impulsiveness means zelda can outwit him. Zeldas stationary predictability means she's an easy target for ganon.

But the other direction?

Fire melts ice, ice redirects lightning, lightning burns fire.

And that's the very essence of the triforce.

dream i had last night that i will attempt to convey in text, even though i would like to draw it as a comic...

Sans, seated at a drum kit, plays the classic rimshot.

Sans plays a slightly more elaborate rimshot, adding an extra beat or two to the timeless phrase.

He plays a yet more elaborate variation, yet it's somehow still recognizable as a rimshot despite all the extra flourishes.

He plays an even more complex version, with lots of embellishments on every beat...

The variations continue, growing in complexity, until...

He plays incredibly, using a variety of percussion instruments with a level of skill that matches one Neil Peart, building up an unforgettable arrangement...

that all ends with a rimshot.

I have only ever seen people talk about Zelink having a "power imbalance" in referral to BOTW Zelink. Which is odd, isn't it? Zelda definitely isn't Link's superior, because Link can blatantly ignore her demands to leave her alone. Zelda's entire arc with Link is going through a "we're not so different you and I" story. One can make the argument that Zelinks like Twilight Princess, OOT and ALBW have WAY more potential to be a "power imbalance" than BOTW does, so why does BOTW always get the bad rap? (Hint: it's because this version of Zelda isn't a flawless courteous princess, and because she was mean to Link one (1) time that means she's clearly got the power to abuse him and she's a horrible bitch actually /s)

niko being alive during spirit tracks while it's implied tetra and link aren't, despite both of them being around the same age as him in wind waker made me think like

What if telink aren't dead but like extremely retired and vibing over at link's summer house island while the entire plot of spirit tracks happens lmao

st!zelda sends them a letter telling them about what happened (after hyrule is saved obviously) and a day later a pissed off grandma tetra appears like "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU TURNED INTO A GHOST?? WHO'S ASS DO I HAVE TO KICK?!" and zelda's like "nana please sit down, think of your blood pressure, I'm fine now. Nana put the sword down, NANA"

meanwhile grandpa link is in the background sitting in a chair somewhere like dying of back pain cause they sailed at the speed of light to get there the moment tetra read zelda's update letter lmao
