All the clocks in Clock Town have stopped working, and letters have stopped arriving from the Gerudo in the Great Bay. Both the clock master's daughter and the swamp witches' son sense that something is amiss. Slowly they come to understand one another while their world gradually winds itself apart.

Thinking about the fact that it is entirely possible that there have been Links and Zeldas who have just...never experienced the events of a Zelda game.
Like, some random village people just name their kid Link after the many heroes with that name and the most adventure he ever gets is maybe camping out in the forest for a while or hiking up a mountain or something. Just has a totally ordinary life. And there's quite possibly a few Zeldas that never get threatened by any dark forces or whatever, they grow up living average Hyrulean royal lives and don't play a role in any prophecy.
Heck there may have even been Ganondorfs that grow up normal. They probably get a lot of bad reactions because of the dude they share their names with, but otherwise they might be chill. They might not even be aware of the guy because they don't live anywhere near Hyrule.
A Zelda game or whatever about just some dude called Link who happens to share the name of the hero, but is actually just some dude who runs your local item shop; a Zelda whose greatest threat is just some prince/princess/some other noble who's kind of a jerk but otherwise isn't as threatening to the kingdom itself; or a Gerudo called Ganondorf who isn't even AWARE of the dude with the same name causing trouble over in Hyrule (which is a continent over) but gets a ton of grief anyway... I feel like there's a lot of funny stuff you could do there.

I hope it pleases you to know, that I went to your fight and survived it first try, not because I had a noble goal to defeat you, but because I was running on spite since the world kept using the gerudo to subtlety call me a midget and you being 10 feet tall was the final straw.
I honestly hate quite a few people I'm supposed to be saving from you, so I just went to your fight running on spite.
(Also, you looked really cool as a dragon, my lord)
And why would this please me? Do you believe I would compliment one for besting a vestige of my form because they were tired of being reminded of their stature?
Such attitudes are beneath me, and you are quite short-sighted if you believe this petty reasoning is something to which I can relate. I am above such lilliputian aims. I would advise you to overcome your own shortcomings, assuming you could even reach that high.
Furthermore, do not seek praise from others for what you accomplish on your own. The moment you do this, your achievements are meaningless.
