I hate myself for thinking of this AU but also I'm a sucker for angst so... don't be mad at me😭

Imagine Nessian x Life as We Know It AU... if you've watched the movie, I'm sorry, and if you haven't, walk with me:

Cassian and Nesta are Nyx's godparents and they hate each other. Hate is a strong word, they just don't get along because of many reasons but they have one thing in common, they would give their life for their nephew.

One night, Feyre and Rhys go on a date after so long of not having alone time, and Morrigan takes care of their son for the night. But they never make it back home. They both lose their lives in a car accident.

Mor calls both Nesta and Cassian just asking them to meet her in the hospital. They're both scared because hospitals can never bring good news.

Their lives changes all in one night. They've lost their siblings, and now? They have a baby boy in their custody.

They have no other choice but move in together, and have to ignore their feeling toward each other because they have more important issues than their hatred toward for the other.

They both go through their healing journey, realizing why they've never gotten along. They help each other to be a better person for themselves and for Nyx. They become friends, but are afraid to take the next step in their relationship.

Hating themselves for falling in love with each other, and how it cost them to lose their loved ones to get here. Doubting the other, wondering if what it means if they accept their feeling for each other. Is it for Nyx and how it would help them be better parents to him? Or if Nyx was out of the picture, would they still find their way toward each other?
