Tina leans back into Quinn’s warmth. She stands in Quinn’s arms near the back of the room, close to the wall, watching guests mingling by the crackling fire, sparkling lights hanging from the ceiling. 

Tina still can’t get over the fact that this farm is where Quinn grew up. She tells Quinn as much, and she laughs softly, tucks her chin into Tina’s shoulder. “We had a lot of little gatherings like this,” she says quietly so only Tina can hear. “Especially after my dad left, and my mom wanted to keep something normal for us.” 

Tina turns her face with a small frown. Quinn kisses her cheek lightly and smiles, saying, “All good memories. Even more now that you’re here.”

Grinning, Tina turns fully in Quinn’s embrace to face her. “You know, I haven’t exactly seen the actual Christmas tree farm of it all.”

Quinn gasps, a smile lighting up her face, and tugs Tina’s elbow lightly to lead her outside to the rows of Christmas trees. They walk slowly through them, hand in hand, huddled close together from the cold. 

“Do you miss it here?” Tina asks.

Quinn shrugs. “Not really. It’s definitely home, but… so are you.”
