Traditions weren't entirely important to Austin, that was more her mother's way of thinking, but she had to admit that her surprise homecomings were a tradition she thoroughly enjoyed. Especially the part where she surprises her best friend by waiting, usually at home, with a beer in hand. However, upon finding out Kat and most everyone was out in Bighorn Hills (she hadn't been home for the big bash in years and had forgotten about it), she made her way there to search for the brunette's tent.

It'd taken her a while to find the large tent, but after depositing her things behind it so Kat would hopefully not see any of it and be alerted to her presence, the red head made herself comfortable on the air mattress Kat had set up and popped open a beer while she waited. Luckily, she didn't have to wait too long for the flap of the tent to open and a grin spread across her face.

That's an interesting response. A clear indication you took offense to my question. Of course tone is notoriously difficult to convey via text, so that is my fault. My question wasn't meant as an insult to you. You seem like a fun man and I haven't seen anyone use the platform in such a casual way. Wanda listened to her explain that she had been punished for trying to flee. "I can help you. I can stop them even looking for you, I can make them forget you and her were ever there." She told her softly, holding her arm gently as she did. "Or I can make them pay for what they've done to you both." She added, her tone a little harder.

Kat barely stopped herself from flinching when Wanda's hand landed on her arm. She had gotten better at physical contact, but unexpected contact still surprised her. "I barely put myself back together after the last time they punished me." She said softly. "I don't know if I have it in me for a second time, and my sister is so little." She was scared what it would do for her. "You might be lucky for that."
