"corina," corina finished off the stranger's sentence. she continued to stare up at the stranger but a smile grew wide on her face. it wasn't easy to miss the change in the stranger's demeanor, and the fluttering of the eyelashes definitely stroked corina's ego a little bit. the flower dance got interesting every year! "i think volunteering to be a flower crown assistant would warrant some forgiveness. care to join us down here on the ground, lovely? and i think it's only fair you give me your name now that i've given you mine."

"It is important to raise one's voice to the world, don't you think?" Taeng asked with an alluring smile. As she spoke with the woman, her plot began to unfold in Taeng's mind. Clearly she'd purposely grabbed her foot to get her attention. Why? Well, she must have been positively bewitched by Taeng's looks from across the field! She let her doe eyes go wide and demure, batting her eyelashes as she added. "But I suppose I was quite loud now. You'll have to inform me what I can do to win your forgiveness...?" she trailed off waiting for the woman to fill in the blank with her name.

danica laughed out loud, throwing her arms up in victory. her teammates ran up to her to cheer along with her, but she kept her eyes on her fallen prey. she also twisted and turned to avoid being hugged by anybody. "that's what you get," she said with a huff, smiling victoriously with her teammates.

If the noise that Taeng released throwing her ball had surprised everyone, the menacing growl when she missed must have been down right terrifying. "I'm not a blight! You're a blight!" Taeng screeched before hastily bending down to grab a ball to throw at Danica, then another, and another. She propelled them as fast as she can, figuring Danica couldn't dodge them all, but in her flurry she forgot to protect herself, and one of Danica's balls flew right into her head. Crumpling to her knees, the banshee wailed:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

corina looked up at taeng with startled and wide eyes. "good yoba, do you have a set of lungs on you or what?" she exclaimed, rubbing her ear to pretend her ear drums had burst. "i'm sorry about scarin' ya, but i don't think you should have any reason to get scared. that banshee scream will knock people out!"

"AAARRRRGGHHHHH! Unhand me!" Taeng cried out when some surely ghastly creature seized her foot. It wasn't until she looked up that she realized it was not a beast at hand, but a rather beautiful woman. "Goodness me, please accept my apology for my outburst. You simply caught me off guard."
