Was thinking about grill dad tubbo but then I changed my tune. Grill dad ranboo. In his half-open Hawaiian shirt cooking everyone burgers while tubbo teaches michael how to throw a frisbee. Tommy is off exploring the area looking for cool bugs and fungi. They're on a road trip out of snowchester so michael can experience real summer for once. They've got a lil picnic table with fresh fruit and niki's baking for snacks and ranboo's burgers for lunch. Michael gets tired and takes a break to hang out with uncle tommy and tubbo comes up behind ranboo and snuggles the back of their neck. They jump and almost drop a hot burger patty on themself. corina was sitting with some of the children to weave together some flower crowns for the dance. she reached over to grab some more to add to her creation, but accidentally grabbed somebody's foot. "oh, my bad!"

corina caught the egg with ease and took the mandatory step back. "emery, how coordinated are you?" corina asked as she prepared to throw the egg back. the egg toss was easily corina's easiest activity -- eggs were easy to handle compared to slimy fish -- so it was usually down to her partner if she did well. she tossed the egg back.

Emery's gaze snapped around, and she realized most of the competitors were already lined up. "Oh, yeah, let's get ready!" As she rushed to the line, she ached a bit as if the rug had been pulled from under her, but luckily the egg toss posed an easy distraction. "Here we go!" She did a baby throw across the line to Corina.

"wow, you really do," corina agreed, completely serious. she had been lying on the ground while people moved around her, but felix's attempts at throwing rocks had piqued her interest enough to languidly push herself up. she picked up another stone next to her blanket and tossed it up and down in her hand. from her seat, she chucked the stone and it skid across the surface of the lake. "see, you do suck."

As the sun begins to sink behind the trees, painting the sky amber and gold, Felix can be found on the little jetty not far from their van, attempting to skip rocks across the smooth surface of the lake. The endeavour isn’t proving very successful, with each pebble they toss sinking quickly beneath the water.

“Man, I suck at this,” Felix says, laughing softly as they sense a presence behind them, apparently unbothered by having a witness to their repeated failures, “What do you think the secret is? Like, is it having the perfect flat rock, or is it all in the throw?”
