The walk from his suite to the dungeon classroom took only a minute, so Orion found himself in the room before Justin and stowed a few bottles of potions in the drawer of his desk. He wore the dark robes of a professor, but with green and silver piping along the edges. Underneath, he favored deep emerald green trousers and and a black button down shirt that stretched across his back, chest and biceps. The candlabras that lit the room flickered slightly brighter as he settled into his chair, hands steepled and thick thighs spread in relaxation as he waited for the younger man's arrival..

He didn't know what to say.

In the dim light of his room, as Justin lifted his head from where it rested against his knees and stared, Didi's face was shrouded in shadow. Her expression and the look in her eyes were impossible for Justin to decipher, and yet he detected in both her words and her tone a sense of vulnerability that he had rarely known her to exhibit before.

Throughout time, the pair had become more... intimate, if you could call it that. Her frequent forays into his room on an evening were more social interaction than Justin had ever had at home, and so he had welcomed them with open arms. The days turned into weeks, turned into months, and, despite both his better judgement and every instinct in his body screaming at him in protest, he actually began to like Didi. He began to truly believe that what she had done for him, while terribly misjudged, might just have been one of the best things that had happened to him. She wasn't exactly a good person. Far from it. But she was a friend, and that was more than anyone had ever been to him before.

After allowing himself a moment to process her words, Justin slowly sat up, pulling himself to sit on the edge of the bed, so he could see her more clearly. He wanted to get up and cross the room to her side, to touch her hand in comfort, but he felt he had to move cautiously. He didn't want to spook her, not when she had finally allowed her walls to lower.

"I know exactly what you mean," he replied, with a slight laugh. "Because, as much as I don't want it to be true, that's kind of how I feel about this place." He paused, tilted his head, stared intently at her. "Do- do you want to talk about anything?"

Justin supposed, as his wide, frightened blue eyes scanned the faces of the masked attackers surrounding him, that he should have expected this. He should have anticipated that his father wasn't simply going to let his youngest son out of his clutches without some kind of consequences. But, he supposed, as his feet carried him backwards away from the group and his back hit the cold brick wall behind him, he had evidently grown complacent. And now he was either going to be killed or, worse, dragged back to his father.

As he frantically searched for an escape, the redhead spotted a young woman standing a distance away. He couldn't quite make out her face, and despite his parting his lips and attempting to call to her for help, no sound came out. His voice had disappeared, replaced only by the adrenaline coursing through his veins as he lifted his hands above his head for a strike he knew was coming.

Well, he thought, at least there would be a witness.

id love to see how you redesign the thunder legion!

Thunder Legion are another group I actually enjoy design wise. But here's my pass at them in my style! I did post evergreen before but she should be with the group.

I didn't want to alter too much. Bickslow's design fits in with who he is and is distinct from other characters. My sister is a massive Laxus fan and would've burned me at the stake for changing too much, though I will admit I like every outfit he gets so no complaints here. Fried is similarly consistent in his looks but he still stands out which I didn't want to mess with more than necessary. And evergreen really just needs to be more tacky like she was in the original arc.

It is fun to figure out how characters would alter/fit in to my ideas for a rewrite.

Bonus: chico, because her magic was wasted by Mashima's knack for giving cool powers to characters he never fleshed out.

Oh, I know that they don't forget me. Especially after being in Grey's Anatomy. I don't know why but I never pictured you as someone who would do that. Haha. They didn't have a pen or anything but I had a photo with them.

Pretty much! I think people would never be able to forget you, you were pretty damn awesome in Grey's Anatomy and we keep missing you like crazy, therefore, I'd be one freaking out as well. Let me see the back of your head and I'll let you know if it's recognizable or not. Did you end up getting them an autograph?
