I wonder where Alan Wake 3 takes us with Zane. He cannot be trusted. He tricked Alan into shooting himself in the Writer's Room, by planting that thought in him that the Alan sitting behind the desk is actually Scratch. Because he knows that Alan will leave the Dark Place alone, without taking Zane with him. Alan and Zane apparently worked on Return together, I think this we can believe is true. But because Alan doesn't trust Zane, Alan shot him. Zane tried to shoot Alan as well. And Zane remembers. Zane knows that Alan will leave him behind. That's why Zane doesn't let him go. Apparently he needs Alan to escape. Zane doesn't tell him that Scratch/the Dark Presence will take over Casey, and that Alan has to go back. Zane will force him to work on Return again and force him to leave the Dark Place together. He will probably find Alice and use her to get what he wants. He might disguise himself as Alan, even. From Alan Wake's American Nightmare, we know that Scratch plans to take Alan's place and play husband to Alice. Echo!Casey muses that Scratch and Zane are the same person anyway. My guess is that they're all separated personalities of Alan that if he truly wants to be free, he must take each of them with him. Alan cannot escape with Scratch and Zane. The question is how, and which role Alice will play in all of this.

i've never liked the sound of prolonging a double plagal cadence (bVII-IV-I) with an extra V chord (bVII-IV-V-I) because it makes for a sudden awkward lift in the middle of all that gentle lilting downwards, but i've found you can make it much smoother by throwing in a neapolitan chord between the IV and V (so like Bb-F-Db-G-C, maybe with the bassline spelling out the Bb-A-Ab-G walkdown). alternatively you can also just swap the places of the bVII and IV chords (F-Bb-G-C) and make the progression about gentle movement upwards rather than downwards in the first place (in this case the bassline could optionally spell out the A-Bb-B-C walkup). this might all be common knowledge for true pros, but just wanted to share what i've stumbled upon as a composer in case it helps anyone

Been looking forward to this movie since the trailer!

The Sunlight Sisters track down the other hunter (being MC’s mother) to get more information about her. By the end she joins the group but only in producing and backing vocals, because of the notion of bad luck with the number 4.

In the future, MC is being trained to be a singer and producer along with her hunter skills.
