As soon as Lucy woke up, the whole room seemed to grow tenser, quieter, darker. The air itself seemed to grow threatening. He pushed himself slowly onto his elbows, then his hands, then got all the way slowly to his feet. His rumpled hair gave the impression of horns. "Hello," he said innocently, the red of his irises almost glowing in the darkening room. "I don't know who you are, but that doesn't mean you have the advantage. I'm going to really enjoy this, actually." Fire sprouted from nowhere just to backlight him, as though that could make an eight-year-old with scraped knees and missing teeth look intimidating. It did.

Trying to imagine Lucy’s situation right now.

Technically speaking, Lucy wasn't supposed to make unsupervised phone calls. But after being cornered and confronted by four demons who proceeded to rant and rave about his older brother failing to live up to his potential until he'd finally sent them away? Well. His dads got sort of weird about that kind of thing, and he wasn't about to let the fun new information that he had a brother slip past him without even talking to him. Adam. It was kind of neat, that he was the younger one, but he'd gotten the Lucifer Junior name. He was definitely going to bring that up when Adam answered his phone.

"Hi! Are you Adam? I didn't know you existed, so I don't know if you know about me or not, but I'm Lucy! Some demons think I need to start the apocalypse in a few years because you didn't."

I'm surprised there aren't many (that I can find) fics where the Pevensies have magic powers. Like Aslan says "To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant. To the great western woods, King Edmund the Just. To the radiant southern sun, Queen Susan the Gentle. And to the clear northern skies, I give you King Peter the Magnificent." This could easily be interpreted as the Pevensies getting elemental magic (Peter air, Susan fire, Edmund earth, Lucy water)
