I hate Hamburr. I really hate it, besides the ship being completely meaningless and UNBEARABLE, the part of the fandom that ships it is HORROR. They simply belittle the other ships to idolize Hamburr, I've seen people saying they hated >HAMLIZA< because of a ship that never even had a chance to really exist. Today I saw something that was the last straw, it was a video of Lin Manuel-Miranda and Leslie singing super excitedly together, but not playing the characters Hamilton and Burr, but playing THEMSELVES, as cast friends! Below, in the title, I saw the person who posted saying that the looks of affection and friendship that the actors exchanged while singing were the looks of Hamburr, saying that they loved each other and that they were going to get married. Seriously, can a person go to that point? It's so ridiculous the way they forget who Lin and Leslie are and their friendship and only focus on this stupid couple, and everything the actors do, they consider that the Hamburrs did. There is no real reason to ship Hamilton, NONE! They were friends, but it wasn't a friends to lovers kind of thing, but rather a friendship of respect! If the real Hamilton and Burr saw this, they would find it disrespectful and would be disappointed. Burr especially, who was always loyal to his family and loved them until death. It seems that people who ship them ignore the fact that Burr held great remorse towards Hamilton for giving the Presidency to Jefferson and all that time he threw away his friendship as if it were worthless and that's why he shot him! You see what DIDN'T exist and much less what was canonized by Lin. Honestly, shipping Historical Jeffmads and Mullette can be less problematic than this.
