a rundown on the listed e-sim platforms from this tweet from mirna el helbawi. visit esimsforgaza to learn about this effort. (they also have a tutorial on how to purchase an esim and send it to them)
update v12 (5/21/24) holafly (israel and egypt), nomad (regional middle east), simly (palestine and middle east), mogo (israel), and airalo (discover) are currently in the highest in demand. if it has been more than 3 weeks since you initially sent your esim and your esim has not been activated, you can reforward your original email with the expiration date in the subject line. you can see gothhabiba’s guide for how to tell if your esims have been activated. if your esim has expired without use, you can contact customer service to renew or replace it.
troubleshooting hint 1: if you are trying to pay through paypal, make sure you have pop-ups enabled! otherwise the payment window won't be able to appear. (this issue most frequently seems to occur with nomad)
troubleshooting hint 2: if you are trying to purchase an esim using the provider's app, it may block you from purchasing if your phone does not fit the requirements to install and use their esims. use their website in your browser instead and this problem should go away.
nomad
for the month of may, first time referrals give 25% off for a person's first purchase and 25% off the referrer's next purchase! it's a great time to use someone's referral code from the notes if you are a first time buyer.
you can use a referral code to get $3 off your first purchase and also make it so the person whose code you used can buy more esims for gaza. many people have been leaving their referral codes in the replies of this post and supposedly a referral code may eventually reach capacity so just keep trying until you find one that works! BACKPACKNOMAD is another code to get $3 off your first purchase, it's been working for some people but not others so try out a referral code instead if you can't get it to work. NOMADCNG is a code for 5% off any middle east region nomad esims posted by connecting gaza. it can be used on any purchase, not just your first but is generally going to give less off than the first-purchase only codes, so use those first. it can be used in combination with nomad points. AWESOME NEW CODE: nomad esim discount code for 75% off any plan, NOMADCS25 do not know how long it lasts but this is an amazing deal esp. since they are really low on esims right now! (nomad promo codes do not work on plans that are already on sale, unlimited plans, and plans under $5)
weekly tuesdays only code on nomad web, PST timezone! it gives 10% off plans 10gb and above. NOMADTUE
nomad also seems to be kind of sluggish sometimes when it comes to sending out emails with the codes. you can look for them manually by going to manage -> manage plans -> the plan you purchased -> installation instruction and scroll down to install esim via QR code or manual input then select QR code to find the QR code which you can screenshot and email to them. often just the act of logging back into your nomad account after purchase seems to cause the email with the code to come through though.
mogo
mogo's website is fucking annoying to navigate and i couldn't find any promo codes, but their prices are massively on sale anyway. you have to pick if you want your esim to be for iphone, ipad, or android for some reason. according to statcounter, android makes up approx. 75% of mobile markets in palestine while iphone represents approx. 25%. so i would probably recommend prioritizing donations of android esims but if you can afford multiple, try buying an iphone one too? if i can find any official direction from the connecting gaza crew on this i will update with it.
Tumblr media
a good referral code to use for mogo is 8R29F9. the way things are worded are confusing but as far as i can tell, if you use it we both get a 10% discount on your first purchase. (the referrer gets a 10% voucher that allows them to top up in use esims, they are someone who i know has bought a lot of esims and will be able to make good use of the top-up discount vouchers!) also upon signing up it automatically generates a password for you which you can change by downloading the app. (check your email to find your account's current password)
holafly (also looking for holafly esims for egypt now)
holafly is pricier than the others and the only promo code i could find was ESIMNOW for 7% off. someone in the tags mentioned GETESIM7 as another 7% off code they had received, so if you have already used ESIMNOW or can't seem to get it to work, try GETESIM7. another 7% off code is HOLAXSUMMER7 which is valid until june 2nd. referral codes only seem to give 5% off and they don't stack. (i don't remember the source, it was on some sketchy coupon site i don't want to link to and only can recommend because i tried it myself) you can also use my referral link for 5% off if you can afford the 2% worse deal on your end, it will give me $5 credit which i can put towards buying more esims. connecting gaza has also posted the promo code HOLACNG for 5% off but since it is less than the 7% off codes and as far as i can tell does not give credit towards others to buy esims like the referral links, i would consider it lower priority for use.
simly (note: simly must be downloaded as an app to be used, the website link is to help people confirm they are downloading the right app)
i have not personally used simly so i am going to be going off of the sixth slide of mirna el helbawi's instagram guide, with some corrections from someone who has successfully purchased an esim from simly. after downloading the app and making an account, search for palestine or middle east and purchase your preferred package. the page the app takes you to after your purchase should have the QR code to send to the esimsforgaza email, it won't show up in your email receipt. someone kindly left her referral code in the tags of this post, it gives $3 off your first purchase and will give her $3 credit to put towards purchasing more esims for gaza. the code is CIWA2. (if this referral code doesn't work, try one from the notes of this post!) according to someone in the notes, ARB is a simly promo code for 25% off esims that is still working as of march 3rd.
airalo
some people have noted issues trying to sign up for airalo using the browser version of the website, it worked for me but if you are struggling you can give the mobile app a try and that should work. you can use a referral code to get $3 off your first purchase and give the code suppler a $3 credit for buying more esims. KARINA9661 is a code sourced from this post which is also a wonderful example of how using people's referral codes can really make a difference. if for some reason that referral code isn't working, you can find more in the notes of the original esim post i made here.
@/fairuzfan also has a tag of esim referral codes for various platforms!
(note: mogo and holafly both link to israel esims as there are no general regional packages for the middle east like on nomad and the esims for gaza website specifically linked to the israel package on mogo, so i linked to the equivalent on holafly.)

Blocking the “inzoi” tag.
I’ve done my research, though I’d like to do more, specifically on what their models were trained on, and electricity usage locally.
Keep in mind that: Though their AI is generating textures and models based on local and user-input, afaik it’s using stable diffusion, which was trained with stolen material. As I sit here typing on an iPhone that probably has a supply chain that would make Nestle blush, I have to wonder just how much I want to pick and choose in my complicity, and how much I want to scream at others over it. (There are more productive ways to have this conversation and a little self awareness doesn’t hurt, is what I’m saying.)
Regarding sources:
SustainabilityByNumbers has a good breakdown of AI and data center energy usage and includes a comparison to other industries. (Generation is far less costly than training.)
Carbon Emissions on Writing and Illustrating outlines the emissions for those things with AI vs humans.
How much does rendering at home cost? (Renderstreet) A serious look at the cost of non-AI rendering.
However. H o w e v e r.
It’s articles like this (Inzoi’s use of AI on TheGamer.com) that ultimately have swayed me toward not buying the game.
Setting aside the grey area of locally-generated, user-based material and its costs vs non-AI rendering and modding, we need to consider what we are condoning and supporting when purchasing a game like this. We do not need to be telling the industry that a flagship for in-game AI tools is OK—especially when it was created by a company that is on the forefront of using that tech to the active detriment of so many careers.
The above article does a good job summarizing Krafton’s shady practices with its other investments; suffice to say that this is about boycotting a company who would rather use AI, even if it’s supposedly “”ethical””, than support game developers, who are already actively used and abused by the video game industry (which we are supporting by buying things like the Sims, Dragon Age, etc).
For me at least, it’s also about how much I want to support the shitty techno-feudalistic, zombie capitalism that companies like Krafton and others continue to get away with. The only good thing I can say about Krafton is that, unlike most of the big gaming companies, they’re wearing this use of AI on their sleeve. If you think no AI is being used in other game studios, you are sadly mistaken.
Until companies can show they’ll be flexible in maintaining healthy, safe employment for people, without the massive layoffs the gaming industry is so infamous for, I’m just not signing off on this.
I’m well aware that using Blender, playing video games, owning an iPhone, or a car, or taking public transit, still makes me complicit. I think people forget that they are just as complicit when harassing and sending threats to people who are playing InZoi. I’m not any better of a person for not buying and not playing it. It’s just not something in which I will personally take part.
I’m not going to harass anyone— I can’t stop y’all from doing what you want to do. If you play it, then… you’re playing it. You’re not a worse person for doing so.
I just want nothing to do with it and that’s that.

Hello!! How are you??!
I hope everything is good for you.
You have no Idea how much I have been struggling with these poses... well... not the poses itself, but the object for them...
I was having problems with the texture that was not showing correctly ingame and I had to work on it an entire week to make it works.... I was sooo reliefe when I found the solution some days ago... And I have to say that I really hate making objects for the game haha But I really needed the object for these poses... and even when it is not perfect, I'm pleased to, at least, say that I could made it.
See... I made these poses to use them in blender, but then I decided to make them for the game. The thing is... In blender I can use any object as a tray for the pose, 'cause there are no restrictions on objects and placing them... but in game I needed the actual accessory... and that is what took me longer....
For the accessory ingame I used a plate of pancakes and the tray with a book from one of the kits that released recently.... (When I saw that tray, I was so happy 'cause I needed a tray and they gave me one, and it was perfect.... well, almost perfect....) I have to thanks JochiTec for helping me changing the book of the original tray to the plate of pancakes, cause I had no idea how to make it work (He is a great creator with some great items so, go check their things on curseforge).... and Siboulette, for helping me with the solution for the texture problem (I think you all know her but if you don't, go check her things right here, she is an amazing creator).
I made two different accessories for the pose. One is the tray with a plate of pancakes and the other is the original tray with a book from the "Book Nook Kit", in case you want to use the pose with the book, wich is weird but it can happend...
I made an object clutter version with all the swatches for the pancake accessory too, in case you want to place the tray in other surfaces out of the pose itself.
In the other hand, when I was making the poses, I decided to add a bed version of one of the poses from my "Couple_poses_23"... I thought it could be very helpful for those who can't or don't use the "tool" mod by twisted mexi and want their pixels to cuddle with that pose in bed, so I hope you enjoy the pose in bed too xp... and that your sims have a delicious breakfast.
Since I could't post these poses  last week as I wanted, I'm delayed with the next poses, so there are some that I will be posting the first days of September. But there will be no more delays on those posts 'cause for the other poses that are coming there are no stupid inexistent objects or accessories to make (I'm done with that for some weeks x_x... seriously....).
Anyway... Without anything else to say, I'll leave you with the posepack description:
----------
What is on it?
9 couple poses (made with a female rig and a male rig) + 3 solo poses with different versions (two made with a female rig and one made with a male rig) + 2 all in one.
What do you need?
Andrew's pose player
Teleport any sim by Scumbumbo.

Transitioning to a Flip Phone: Beginning
As my semester started winding down, and finals started ranking up I found myself going back to the ever-present though of transitioning to a flip phone. I finally did it! Here is how it is going. I had done tons of research about transitioning to a flip phone months before hand, I didn't have many requirements like needing WhatsApp or any particular apps as I had access to my computer for specific things such as banking and schoolwork. I ended up going with the Sunbeam Bluebird for a couple reasons, despite its price. (also I just wrote it off as a reward for completing my semester lol)
Accessibility: I knew I wanted a T9 flip phone, a QRTY keyboard would have never worked for me at a flip phone size, woe to my fine motor skills. Voice-to-text is an option if you pay for the subscription (I do) and so although I try to exclusively type as a way to get proficient, longer more urgent texts can be sent quickly. Its very accurate as well! Restrictions: No social media! No googling! No videos! Nothing! Its all I have ever wanted from a flip phone, restriction wise. Instagram reels is/was such an addiction for me, and even with time-limits, greyscale, and just un-downloading it, I always came back to scroll. I was debating on whether or not I wanted a search engine, because although I love to google all the random questions I have, I also will absolutely read on AO3 for as much time as I can possibly allocate to that. Although I am not a huge fan of reading FF on the laptop, its a small workaround for the benefits im seeing. On the case of music: Spotify, I REALLY wanted to keep this as an app, but knew that with what I was looking for I would need to take that loss. I can download music onto the phone through an SD card, and it still has bluetooth which means I am still able to use my noise-cancelling headphones. Additionally, I mainly listen to music while im studying, which means I can just listen through my laptop; and I dont mind driving in silence. Basic Qualifications: Number one, navigation, Im in an area where the construction is crazy and I cant always rely on road signs. I live out in the country, so I havent needed or had the chance to memorize anything other than my usual routes and highways. Luckily, the Bluebird has Waze (which I had never used before) but it works really well! I will need to find a way to attach it to my dash so I'm not looking down at my lap though... I mentioned bluetooth in restrictions, but it was important to me that I could connect my QuiteComfort Bose headphones, especially being on a loud college campus and needing some peace and quiet to study properly.
The transitionary phase was incredibly easy, I have an AT&T phone plan and I just switched my SIM card from my iPhone to my Bluebird. Boom. Done. I imported my contacts with a MicroSD card which was equally as efficient. I can still access and use Messages on my MacBook, but they don't sync to my flip phone. All messages go through to the device I last messaged on. I did have to manually set up my voicemail, but that didnt take much effort.
The only difficulties I have had to deal with is that both my job and my school require apps for two-factor authentication. I believe I can work around that for my school, and get authentication codes by text message, but for my work I don't have that option. This is a big reason why I am considering keeping my iPhone useable, just without a SIM.
On the note of what I am going to do with my iPhone, for right now it is being kept charged and usable, because I'm still transitioning some of the information (like menstrual trackers) and the mentioned need for TFA. Another PRO about the Bluebird is that it does have hotspot capabilities, so Im assuming I would be able to connect my iPhone if I was ever out in the wild and needed to use it, assuming of course that I had taken my iPhone with me.
Day 3 Final Overview:
I have gotten quicker at typing on the T9 predictive keyboard and feel confident responding to messages without using text-to-speech. I also figured out how to attach media to my messages, which means everybody is receiving grainy low-quality pictures of my cats. Im finding that I have so much extra time to do things during the day. Where keeping up with household chores sometimes gets overwhelming by becoming a huge task to schedule into my day, I can do smaller things during downtime. Reheating some food for lunch? Five minuets in the toaster? Boom, I can clean off the counters, sweep the floor, and pick up a little as I wait. That makes such a huge impact on my day-to-day especially compared to the 40 reels I could have seen and than totally forgotten. I learned how to change the ring-tones for my contacts and notifications. There is a 'wolf howling' option that has been dedicated to my friends, of course. The little jingle of my phone can only mean that someone has texted me, so I'm less paranoid about notifications and the urge to pick up my phone whenever I see the screen light up. That was such a huge distraction in my day, picking up my iPhone to check my notifications quickly turned into a 'quick scroll' through Pinterest (my beloved) or Instagram, which was constantly detrimental to my studies. In overview, I'm having a good time and I'm excited to stick with it, especially as winter break approaches (TWO MORE FINALS LEFT LETS GO) and I have a ton of free time I would have spent on my phone. I'm excited to start reading more!

And in the Everything Old is New Again Dept.:
I abandoned my iPhone for a $90 flip phone. Life's never been better.
An SFGATE reporter explains the best, most frustrating decision he's ever made
Many smartphone users wish they could pull themselves away from their devices, but few seriously consider switching to a basic phone.Images via Getty; animation by SFGATE
By Timothy Karoff, Culture ReporterJuly 10, 2025
On Feb. 4, 2025, I would make a decision that would frustrate all of my friends, strain my work life and, on occasion, leave me completely reliant on the goodwill of strangers. But first, I needed to call my mom.
As we spoke, I was walking down Folsom Street on my way to work. My iPhone was connected to my AirPods, which allowed me to speak with her, even as I held a mug of tea in one hand and a piece of half-eaten toast in the other. This — hands-free calling — was one of the luxuries I would soon leave behind. I was explaining to my mom why I had just purchased a flip phone.
“Why do you have to go and make your life harder?” she asked me. There was more than a hint of consternation in her voice. I didn’t have a simple answer then, and four months later, I still don’t. In many tangible ways, my life is harder now. And still, switching to a flip phone was probably the best decision I’ve ever made.
‘No single intervention has emerged as clearly superior’
Tumblr media
SFGATE culture reporter Timothy Karoff shows the menu from his flip phone. Charles Russo/SFGATE
At the beginning, I pissed off my friends and family. I was a bad texter before I got a flip phone. Now, I was also a slow texter. My initial messages were answered with scornful comments about green bubbles. Mostly sarcastic, hopefully? One friend thought I had blocked her number.
If you, too, want to alienate your friends, you can follow my steps:
First, I went to my carrier’s store and switched my eSIM for a physical SIM card. This cost $10 and took about 20 minutes.
The phone I originally wanted, the Cat S22 Flip, is not supported by my carrier, so I browsed r/dumbphones, a 141,000-member forum for dumbphone users, for the next-best option. I landed on the Nokia 2780 Flip, which I ordered from Best Buy for $89.99.
I purchased a 32 GB SD card from an electronics shop on Mission Street for about $15. I then ported my iPhone’s contacts to my laptop and downloaded them onto the SD card.
Measured against Apple’s standards of quality, my phone is a buggy piece of junk, a prepackaged case study in unplanned obsolescence. After four months, my texting app freezes for no reason, and if I close my phone too quickly, the battery dislodges, causing the phone to restart. The music app takes about a minute to load. The camera takes several seconds to snap a photo.
So why go through the trouble? My reasons are simple, and I suspect they’re universal. I couldn’t control my phone use, and it was making me feel terrible. I was sick of deleting Instagram, only to reinstall it a week later. I was sick of hallucinating “phantom vibrations,” and I was sick of clocking four hours of screen time on an average day, despite my constant efforts to cut back.
Owning a smartphone is a sort of devil’s bargain. The device grants its user superpowers: We can schedule dentist’s appointments from the back of an Uber. We can arrive in a new city and, without speaking to anybody, know where to find the best burrito. If there’s a line for burritos, we can just Venmo a street vendor for a hot dog.
SFGATE culture reporter Timothy Karoff scrolls through his flip phone.Charles Russo/SFGATE
And in exchange for these powers, we agree to remain more or less permanently tethered to our devices. In a recent survey from Reviews.org, the average respondent checked their phone 205 times per day, and 78% reported feeling uneasy leaving the house without their phones (91% of Americans have smartphones, a percentage that climbs to 98% in my demographic of 18-29). In the past decade or so, managing one’s phone use has grown into a forever problem, a balancing act in the same category as maintaining a healthy sleep schedule and watching one’s diet.
When I reached out to Stanford professor Dr. Elias Aboujaoude, author of “Virtually You: The Dangerous Powers of the E-Personality,” about cellphone addiction, he told me that problematic internet use statistics have only gone in one direction since his research group began studying them in 2006: up.
Researchers have studied a host of strategies to help people regulate their phone use, including therapy, medications and apps that block certain websites. But ultimately, there’s no silver bullet. The best solutions are individualized to a smartphone user’s habits, Aboujaoude said, and seek alternate rewards to gradually replace problematic behaviors.
“No single intervention has emerged as clearly superior or universally helpful,” Aboujaoude told SFGATE.
Flipping the script
In that case, what if the solution isn’t to regulate smartphone use? What if we gave up on our devices and broke the devil’s bargain?
Every few months, Fast Company or CNBC will write an article on the resurgence of the “dumbphone” among Gen Zers and millennials. It was one of these stories, by New York Times tech reporter Kashmir Hill, that convinced me to take the plunge. Hill attempted what she called Flip Phone February, the iPhone addict’s equivalent of Dry January.
Tumblr media

“More control.” That’s what I wanted. That’s what I felt I had lost, 10 years ago, when I booted up my first smartphone. And apparently, I’m not alone. Sales of the minimalist Light Phone grew by 150% last year, and roughly 75% of the phone’s users are between the ages of 20 and 35.
“The pandemic really helped a lot of people realize they have a problem,” Light Phone co-founder Kaiwei Tang told me in an interview. His customers have reported that they feel less stressed, sleep better and get more time back, even though roughly half still have a backup smartphone, an arrangement that Tang describes as “part-time” use.
A phone is a tool like a hammer or screwdriver, Tang said. When you hammer a nail into a wall, you don’t mess around with the hammer for three hours afterward.
“The problem is not the phone. The problem is the business model that needs to maximize engagement to make money,” Tang said.
Crossed wires
The world is built for smartphones, which is something you don’t notice until you leave yours behind. Whenever I left the house, I found myself running into invisible walls. Shortly after I switched phones, I suffered a concussion, and when I arrived at the doctor’s office, the receptionist texted an intake form to my Nokia, which I could not open. After some back-and-forth, they let me see a doctor anyway, which was lucky. While running late to another appointment, I tried to ride a Bay Wheels bike but needed my iPhone to unlock it. I had to take the bus instead.

LOOSE ENDS — A collection of drabbles to pick up the threads I started months ago. TOTAL WORD COUNT: 3.0k FEATURING: Yoon Mingeun, Kang Haksu, Andrew Han, Ahn Jinguk, Lee Taein, Oh Kiyoung, The Midas Touch
Tumblr media
JULY 2024. A direct epilogue to this drabble. Previously posted as screenshots on my main but I don't think anyone saw that so here we go again.
Two hours after having his phone confiscated, Mingeun knocks on Haksu's bedroom door.
Haksu opens it, looking clean and put together for someone just sitting in his room. Sitting in his room, and likely eavesdropping on everything they said. "I heard what happened," he says, confirming Mingeun's suspicions.
He steps inside, trying not to look too closely at the Bible on Haksu's bedside table, or the cross hanging above his bed, the only decoration on otherwise spotless wall. A diffuser sits on top his dresser, filling the room with a faint pine scent.
Haksu shuffles through the dresser for a moment, and tosses three iPhone boxes onto his bed. They're all slightly different variants of the iPhone 15, in blue and white and black.
"You can have any of them," Haksu says. "I don't know why our fans keep giving me iPhones when I use a Samsung."
Mingeun doesn't get gifts like that. Haksu has his phones, and Andrew received a high-end laptop. He must be doing something wrong.
He doesn't say anything, just points to the plastic container in Haksu's hands. "What's that?"
Haksu opens the lid, and that's when Mingeun realizes it's full of index cards. "SIM cards."
There must be fifteen or so in the box, by his best judgement. Each index card has the SIM card taped to it, with a phone number across the top and a series of dates running down the right side of the card.
"You keep these?" Mingeun asks, plucking one out of the box. The dates on it cover the end of 2022 and a few months of 2023.
"I trade them in if they get really bad," Haksu says. "The company pays for most of these. I switch them out when I need to."
He flicks through the container and eventually pulls out a card that looks no different from the rest of the cards. "Here. I haven't used this one in a while. You probably won't get too many calls."
The most recent date on it is June 2022. Mingeun accepts it, and tries to peel the card off without ripping the paper. The paper rips anyway.
He looks at the phones again. "This is fine with you? I can take it?"
Haksu nods impatiently. He produces a pen from somewhere and adds a new line to the index card: Mingeun's name and July 2024 to an unknown date. "I don't use them."
Mingeun picks the blue one, because it's the most basic model. His own phone is still the 12. The upgrade doesn't feel right, not when it happened because Daewoong confiscated his phone.
"Thanks," he says awkwardly.
Haksu waves him off. "Don't worry about it." The cards and the two remaining phones disappear back into his dresser, and Mingeun is left clutching his new phone like a lifeline.

SEPTEMBER 2024. A sequel to this drabble.
Andrew's second visit to the Danyoung Group is no less intimidating than the first. It doesn't have to be a meeting at all. It could be an email. A text message. An Instagram DM. Does Jinguk even use Instagram? Probably not.
His answer is one word. In hindsight, it's ridiculous he even thought otherwise. All it took was spending a day almost, but not quite, third-wheeling with Jaeseop and Jaeseop's girlfriend, Seoyeon. It wasn't supposed to be like that. It was supposed to be an outing for Fable on one of Jaeseop's rare days off, with Seoyeon accompanying them only because Jaeseop had so few days off. Then the rest of the group started dropping like flies in the days leading up their lunch: Kiyoung and Intak at the premiere of an anime film, Haksu on something akin to a date of his own, Byeonghwi doing something he's been incredibly cagey about, and Mingeun's second or third bout of house arrest this year. Andrew's lost count.
The lack of an audience at lunch gave Andrew the courage to ask Jaeseop about his predicament, and Jaeseop the freedom to chew out Andrew in public—all while Seoyeon sat there quietly and ate her food.
The direct consequence of that day is today. This time, Andrew takes the elevator to the ninth floor, and heads down the hall until he reaches the room labeled 923 in gold text on a shiny black plaque. He knocks first, then pushes the door open without waiting for a response.
The first thing he notices is that the view from the ninth floor isn't much different from the view from the fifteenth. This room, too, has a wall made entirely of glass. Better to lord over the people below you with, Andrew thinks.
He bows politely to Jinguk, standing near the window and doing the very lording Andrew was just thinking of. "Good afternoon."
"It's good to see you again, Andrew," Jinguk says. The words themselves might be warm, but the delivery lacks any sort of emotion. "Have you given any thought to my proposal?"
Straight to the point. Andrew hasn't even taken a seat. To be fair, he doesn't think he wants to take a seat. It's a far cry from the waffling Taein tends to do.
"I have," he says, hovering uncertainly near one of the two chairs in the room.
"Have a seat, and we'll talk." Despite his words, Jinguk doesn't make a move.
Andrew sits, against his better judgement. "I appreciate your offer," he says—calm, practiced, rehearsed, like he's staring down a camera—"but I'm going to have to decline. I'm staying with Fable." His heart jackhammers wildly in his chest, and he has to make a conscious effort to keep his knee from bouncing up and down.
"I suspected as much," Jinguk says. "I hoped you'd be more pragmatic."
Andrew is pragmatic. He's so pragmatic he knows he stands to lose too much if he leaves Fable now. And he's done his research on C Entertainment's artists. He sees two potential paths in that future: being indefinitely shelved or constantly scrutinized for payola.
He gives a half-hearted shrug. "I don't know if you're looking for pragmatism. You might want to try selfishness or greed. I can recommend Mingeun or Haksu." He doubts either of them would take Jinguk's deal, though he knows they'd be tempted in the same way he was.
Jinguk's expression grows stormy. His brow tightens, and he fixes Andrew with a disapproving look. "You must not understand the magnitude of your decision. This is not the sort of opportunity anyone can receive. They are liabilities, more so than you."
But Andrew is a liability too. He champions for himself, enough to butt heads with Mingeun on a wide range of topics. He'll bend and bend and bend—he had to, to debut—but he won't break. There are parts of himself he can't give up on, and that, he thinks, makes him more of a liability than someone like Mingeun. He doesn't say any of that out loud.
"They're people," he says, "not liabilities."
"This is a business, and you are an idol. It is a lesson both you and Taein-ssi have yet to learn." Jinguk's bottom lip curves up in a sneer.
Andrew doesn't know what he has to do with Taein. The side he picked, the battle line he drew in the sand. Something like that.
"It's unfortunate you have yet to come to your senses," Jinguk continues, though he doesn't sound disappointed or resigned in the slightest. He checks the time on his impossibly shiny watch. "My two pm will arrive shortly. I assume you know your way out."
Andrew nods quickly. He recognizes a dismissal when he hears one, and he's only too happy to leave. "If I ever come to my senses, you'll be the first to know."
As he leaves, he can't shake the feeling that he got off too easily, like he willing walked into the jaws of the beast and emerged unscathed. Jinguk appeared to respect Andrew's answer, even if he didn't appear to respect Andrew himself. It'll dog him, he knows, one more enigmatic piece in the puzzle of Jinguk's design.

OCTOBER 2024. Live Haksu reaction to this article.
"What is this?" Haksu asks. He pinches a sheet of paper between two fingers, as if it's poisonous. The glaring headline on the printed article reads, "Zenith Entertainment to Press Charges Against Fable Sasaeng." It's hard to read in the dim parking garage lighting, but Haksu has already committed the important parts to memory.
Taein's gaze, bored and disinterested, flicks over the paper and then Haksu. "It's what you wanted." He steps left in a valiant effort to get to his car.
Haksu mirrors his movements. If he could have snuck into his office to borrow his car keys, he would have. As it is, he has to settle for body-blocking his boss instead. "No, it's not. This is loud and messy. I wanted something discrete."
"Like a hit man," Taein says drily. He makes another unsuccessful attempt to get to the driver's side door of his car.
Haksu shrugs. That would be preferable. He folds the paper in half. Over the past couple of months, he's learned how to play Eunmyeong's game, picked up all her rules and added a few of his own. He's managing so far, by himself. He doesn't need Taein's lawsuit interfering with his carefully arranged house of cards.
"She never assaulted me," he says.
"Not everything is about you."
This is. Haksu knows that for a fact. From the moment he read the headline, he knew the anonymous A was Eunmyeong. No one else followed him home. He doesn't need to be a detective. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together could figure that out.
"Think about it, Haksu," Taein says. He rolls his shoulders back. "I'd like to leave work today."
Haksu doesn't budge. "Do you think this will stop her?"
"As much as I'd like to be able to predict the future, I can't say what she will or will not do." He levels a piercing gaze at Haksu. "Don't you know her better?"
There's an accusation in there, if he can be bothered to find it. He's been on more pseudo-dates with her than he'd like to admit. Not enough to have lost count, but enough to recognize certain pillars of their otherwise tenuous relationship. He would know her, if their relationship was more even. As it stands, she's so obsessed with him that they don't talk about much else. Haksu only knows what her last name is because she told his mom. He doesn't know when her birthday is. He doesn't know where she lives or where she grew up or what her favorite food is.
"I don't know her at all," he answers. "Why did it take you this long to press charges?"
"Proper legal cases take time," Taein says, forming each word slowly, as if they cause him physical pain.
Haksu opens his mouth.
"For the second time, Haksu, I don't have any mafia connections you can take advantage of."
Haksu closes his mouth.
Taein continues to speak. "I wouldn't go through with this if there wasn't a reasonable chance the charges would stick. Have faith."
If there's one thing Haksu has, it's faith. He has faith in spades. His faith only falters when it comes to Taein. He should trust his boss more. He doesn't. He steps aside reluctantly, finally giving Taein access to his car.
Taein doesn't even thank him. All he does is pull the driver's side door open and say, "It's not your problem to worry about. Focus on your work, and don't go around giving phone numbers to your group members."
Haksu takes personal offense to that. He tamps it down and responds with his usual decorum instead. "Good night, sajangnim." He doesn't think Taein hears him. The door slams closed as he speaks.
Taein's headlights cast dramatic shadows as Haksu turns tail, shredding the paper as he goes. He doesn't see a problem with giving Mingeun a new phone number—and a new phone. He doesn't approve of everything Mingeun does, but he doesn't have to. He was just doing his duty as a friend.
He pauses as he reaches the fresh evening air, the breeze a welcome respite from the stuffiness of the inside of the garage. Haksu stuffs the shreds of paper into his pockets. Taein can do whatever he wants. Fine. So can he. He wonders if she knows she's going to court soon. It would be courteous to warn her, wouldn't it? He watches Taein's Mazda make a sharp right and nearly bowl over a pedestrian. Then he slips his phone out of his back pocket and writes a quick text.

OCTOBER 2024. Not a sequel to anything. It's more of an update of what Kiyoung is up to and the relevance of The Midas Touch to Fable.
As a collective, The Midas Touch is louder, rowdier, and more energetic than Kiyoung remembers being at their age. The excitement of a newly debuted group is palpable, but not quite contagious. That, and it pales in comparison to the sheer malice simply radiating from Haksu.
"Who pissed you off?" he mutters under his breath, adjusting the mic pack clipped to the back of his waist band more than he should.
"None of your business," Haksu mutters back.
"You'll keep it together?"
"Of course." The words are sharp. He corrects himself a moment later, softening into a more relaxed posture and expression. "I always do." He has the gall to wink at Kiyoung.
It's uncomfortable, watching the ease at which Haksu slides between his true feelings and his perfect image. Kiyoung suppresses a shudder.
Their role today is a supporting one. It's an extremely staged moment in The Midas Touch's extremely staged day. The idea is to present them with the same friendly and relatable boy-next-door image they built as trainees. Kiyoung thinks there are other groups who already occupy that niche, but he's not their creative director or management in any way.
The original plan was for him and Haksu to make a brief appearance to congratulate them on their first music show win. It was supposed to appear spontaneous. That plan fell through last week, when it became very apparent that TMT would be the runner-up to a project group Kiyoung's never hehrd of. Almost all of their music is in English, with the excepption of the song they promoted to win a week's worth of music shows.
So the script was rewritten, and now Kiyoung and Haksu are congratulating them on their debut. Never mind the fact that they already did that, right after TMT's music show debut, back when Fable was promoting their own album. This time is different because Haksu has a cake. He also has strict instructions to give it to Shinji, according to the script Kiyoung read a couple of hours ago. Shinji is, according to the same script, the clumsiest member by far.
He suspects someone is already prepared to clean frosting off the floor.
The long-awaited signal from the couple of supervising producers—a frantic flurry of waving, gesturing, and ushering—finally arrives. The smallest glance sideways tells Kiyoung Haksu is immaculately prepared. He has his cake, and he's turned down the malice to a less overpowering level.
Kiyoung gets the door. He makes it two steps into the room before there are three handheld cameras focused on him—an important part of TMT's relatability. They're greeted with overlapping cries of, "Sunbaenim! You didn't have to!" and "Haksu-hyung, is that for us?"
Kiyoung feels sorry for the editors who have to piece this footage together.
Haksu unceremoniously shoves the cake towards Shinji. The eldest member of the group, Elias, swoops in and intercepts it instead. "He'll drop it," he says, balancing both the cake and his camera.
"That might be the point," Kiyoung concedes quietly.
Though he looks loathe to play along, Elias passes it back to Shinji.
"Congratulations on your debut," Haksu says, an ever-consummate professional.
Then, message delivered, he surprises Kiyoung by making a beeline back towards the door.
Kiyoung grabs him by the wrist. "You can't leave," he hisses under his breath.
"You can come too," Haksu says, tugging his wrist free.
Kiyoung jerks his head towards TMT. "They're filming." A camera is usually the magic switch that gets Haksu to play nice.
Haksu turns around and flashes his usual charismatic smile. "Can you please cut the cameras?" he asks, tone syrupy sweet.
"Deadass?" Arjun asks from behind his own camera. All five of them break into sycophantic laughter.
Kiyoung assumes the cameras are still rolling. "He's not usually like this," he says, making a rather pathetic attempt to salvage the remnants of Haksu's image.
A silent look passes through the group, communicating something Kiyoung can't even begin to imagine.
Elias seems to speak for all of them when he says, "I thought so." He angles his camera back to Haksu. "Anything else for today's TMT Log?"
He's giving them a way out. Kiyoung nearly sags with relief.
Haksu seems to compose himself, straightening up and clasping his hands together. "The Midas Touch are our very precious juniors who recently made their debut. They've worked very hard to get to where they are today. Please make sure to show them lots of love and support!" He rattles off a few lines that are much more fitting of his usual persona.
Elias gives them a little nod, and this time, when Haksu runs for the door, Kiyoung doesn't stop him. He recites his own parting message, spit-balling whatever comes to mind—another congratulatory message, a half-plea to the editors to showcase Haksu in a positive light, permission to visit Fable whenever they'd like.
"I thought you said you could keep it together," Kiyoung says quietly as soon as they're in the hallway again. He suspects most of that footage will be cut. Shinji didn't even drop the cake.
Haksu flicks his bangs out of his eyes. "I did."
They have very different definitions of keeping it together, he thinks, disconnecting his microphone. Whatever is happening in Haksu's head is something he'd never confess to Kiyoung.
"Everything is fine," Haksu says.
Kiyoung suspects this is supposed to be reassuring. He doesn't believe it at all.

iPhone Won’t Turn On? Here’s How to Fix It Step by Step
There’s nothing more frustrating than an iPhone that won’t turn on—no lights, no sounds, no response. Whether you're dealing with a blank screen or a completely unresponsive device, don’t panic. With the right guidance, you can troubleshoot the issue at home before heading to a repair shop.
This article, powered by Fixtops AI, walks you through smart, step-by-step solutions to revive your iPhone. Whether the problem is battery-related, software-based, or hardware-driven, we’ve got you covered.
Tumblr media
Start with the Basics: Charge Your iPhone It might seem obvious, but sometimes a completely drained battery is the culprit. (i)Plug your iPhone into a working charger and wall socket. (ii) Wait at least 15 minutes—look for a charging icon or Apple logo. (iii)Try using a different cable or charger if nothing appears.
Tip: Avoid low-quality charging accessories. Stick with certified Apple chargers or MFi-certified brands.
Force Restart Your iPhone A force restart can wake a frozen iPhone stuck on a black screen. Here’s how to do it depending on your model: (i) iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up, then the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears. (ii) iPhone 7 / 7 Plus: Press and hold the Volume Down and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. (iii) iPhone 6s or earlier: Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time until the logo appears.
Check for Display Issues Sometimes your iPhone may be on, but the screen is not working.
Try this: (i) Listen for charging sounds or vibrations when plugged in. (ii) Call your iPhone from another phone. If it rings but you see nothing, your display may be damaged—a screen replacement could solve the issue.
Fixtops AI can help you diagnose if it’s a screen failure or something deeper.
Connect to a Computer and Use Recovery Mode If your iPhone won’t turn on but is detected by a computer, try using Recovery Mode: (i)Connect your iPhone to a Mac or PC via USB. (ii) Launch iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later). (iii)Follow your model’s force restart steps, but don’t release the buttons until the recovery mode screen appears. (iv) Choose Update (not Restore) to reinstall iOS without losing data.
Check for Water or Physical Damage Has your iPhone recently been exposed to water, drops, or extreme temperatures? (i) Look for signs of liquid near the charging port or SIM tray. (ii)Physical trauma could have damaged internal components. Water damage or internal failure may require professional diagnostics. Use Fixtops AI to get an instant analysis and book a trusted technician nearby.
Use Fixtops AI for Instant Troubleshooting When DIY steps aren’t enough, don’t guess—get answers fast with Fixtops AI. (i) Smart diagnostics: Enter your iPhone symptoms and get instant solutions. (ii)Trusted technicians: Book repairs online with verified professionals. (iii)Affordable fixes: Get accurate quotes before committing. (iv) Click here to fix your iPhone now with Fixtops AI.

Esimbuy.org: Simplifying Global Connectivity with eSIM Technology
Esimbuy.org: Simplifying Global Connectivity with eSIM Technology
In today’s interconnected world, staying connected wherever you go is more important than ever. Whether you are traveling for business, studying abroad, or simply vacationing, seamless mobile connectivity is a necessity. This is where Esimbuy.org comes in, offering a reliable and easy-to-use solution for anyone needing global mobile data through eSIM technology. Esimbuy.org has positioned itself as a go-to platform for people looking to stay connected globally without the hassle of switching physical SIM cards.
What is Esimbuy.org?
Esimbuy.org is an online platform that offers eSIM (Embedded SIM) solutions, allowing users to easily switch between multiple carriers or data plans digitally without the need for a physical SIM card. eSIM technology is embedded within your mobile device, and instead of inserting a SIM card manually, you can activate different plans with a simple QR code or app. This makes traveling between countries or switching mobile operators more convenient than ever.
The idea behind Esimbuy.org is to give users flexibility and ease of connectivity, whether they’re hopping between different countries or just looking for a temporary mobile data solution. The platform offers coverage in over 200 countries, making it a global leader in eSIM services.
Key Benefits of Esimbuy.org
Hassle-Free Setup With Esimbuy.org, gone are the days of hunting for a local SIM card when you land in a foreign country. All you need is access to the internet and your eSIM-capable device. Once you purchase a data plan from the platform, you can activate it instantly by scanning a QR code or downloading the plan from your Esimbuy.org account. This makes the entire process quick and painless.
Global Coverage Esimbuy.org offers plans that cover a vast number of countries. Whether you’re visiting Asia, Europe, the Americas, or Africa, there’s a plan available for you. The company partners with numerous mobile network providers worldwide, ensuring that you’ll have a strong connection no matter where you are.
Cost-Effective Solutions International roaming fees can be exorbitant, and purchasing a local SIM card in every new country isn’t always the most practical solution. Esimbuy.org offers flexible data plans that are often more affordable than traditional roaming fees. This means you can keep in touch with family, friends, or colleagues without worrying about sky-high mobile bills.
Multiple Plans on One Device One of the standout features of eSIM technology is the ability to have multiple mobile network plans active on the same device. This is perfect for frequent travelers who may need to switch between local networks as they move from country to country. For example, if you're in Europe one week and Asia the next, you can have different eSIM plans active simultaneously, ready to switch when needed.
Environmental Impact By using eSIMs, there’s no need for physical SIM cards, packaging, or shipping. This helps reduce plastic waste and contributes to a more eco-friendly way of staying connected. While this may seem like a small impact, millions of physical SIM cards are discarded each year, and switching to eSIMs helps alleviate that burden.
Security and Flexibility Esimbuy.org ensures that all data plans and transactions are secure, giving users peace of mind while they are connected. Additionally, since eSIM profiles can be easily deactivated or switched, users have more flexibility in managing their mobile connections. This level of control is especially useful for business travelers or digital nomads who rely on stable mobile connections.
How Does It Work?
The process of using Esimbuy.org is straightforward. First, ensure your device is eSIM-compatible. Most modern smartphones, including iPhones, Samsung Galaxy models, and Google Pixels, support eSIM technology. After that, follow these easy steps:
Browse Available Plans On Esimbuy.org, you can browse through data plans tailored for different regions, countries, or even specific needs (e.g., short-term vs. long-term plans).
Purchase Your Plan Once you find a plan that suits your needs, purchase it through the platform.
Activate via QR Code After purchase, Esimbuy.org will send you a QR code. Simply scan the code with your eSIM-compatible device, and your new mobile data plan will be active in minutes.
Enjoy Seamless Connectivity Once activated, you’re ready to start using your mobile data. You can manage your plan, check data usage, and switch between plans via your device settings.

Samsung vs Apple: Why Samsung is Better than Apple
Tumblr media
The world of smartphones is dominated by two major players: Samsung and Apple. Both companies produce high-quality devices with cutting-edge features, but they cater to different user preferences. This blog explores why some users favor Samsung phones over Apple's iPhones.
It's important to note that before diving into the world of repairing these complex devices, consider a mobile repairing institute in Delhi like Hi-Tech Institute, an ISO and MSME certified institute with over 20 years of experience, can equip you with the skills to diagnose and repair both Samsung and Apple devices! Now, let's delve into the reasons why some users choose Samsung:
1. Android vs iOS: Openness and Customization
A key difference lies in the operating system. Samsung phones run on Android, an open-source platform that allows for greater customization. Android users can personalize their phones extensively, from launchers and themes to widgets and icon packs. This level of control appeals to users who enjoy tailoring their devices to their specific needs and preferences.
2. Hardware Innovation: Pushing the Boundaries
Samsung is known for its constant innovation in hardware. They've been at the forefront of features like foldable displays, high refresh rate screens, powerful processors, and multiple rear cameras. For users who prioritize cutting-edge technology and features, Samsung phones can be a compelling choice.
3. Wider Price Range: Options for Every Budget
Samsung offers a wider range of smartphones at various price points. This caters to users with different budgets. From the high-end Galaxy S series to the budget-friendly Galaxy A series, there's a Samsung phone for everyone. In contrast, Apple's iPhones tend to be positioned in the premium segment.
4. Expandable Storage: Avoiding Storage Woes
Many Samsung phones offer expandable storage via microSD cards. This allows users to easily increase storage capacity without having to upgrade their entire phone when they run out of space. For users who store a lot of photos, videos, or music on their phones, this flexibility is a major advantage.
5. Dual SIM Functionality: Staying Connected with Multiple Numbers
A feature often found in Samsung phones is dual SIM functionality. This allows users to have two separate phone numbers active on one device. This is particularly convenient for users who need to keep their personal and professional lives separate, or for those who travel frequently and want to use a local SIM card.
6. Headphone Jack: A Reliable Classic
While Apple removed the headphone jack from its iPhones several years ago, Samsung has continued to include it in most of its phones. This is a plus for users who still prefer wired headphones for listening to music or making calls.
7. Fast Charging Technology: Power Up Quickly
Samsung's fast charging technology allows users to recharge their phones quickly and efficiently. This is a major advantage for users who are on the go and need to get their phone back up and running quickly.
8. Integration with Samsung Ecosystem: A Connected Experience
For users who own other Samsung products like tablets, smartwatches, and laptops, Samsung phones offer a seamless integration experience. Users can easily connect their devices and share data or control them from one another.
Tumblr media
The Final Word
The choice between Samsung and Apple ultimately comes down to personal preference. If you prioritize an open and customizable Android experience, cutting-edge hardware features, and a wider price range, Samsung might be the better fit for you. However, if you value a premium build quality, a user-friendly closed ecosystem, and seamless integration with Apple products, iPhones might be your preference. Regardless of your choice, remember that a mobile repairing course in Delhi from a reputable institute like Hi-Tech Institute can equip you with the skills to troubleshoot and repair both Samsung and Apple devices, opening doors to exciting career opportunities in the mobile repair industry.

What to Check Before Renting an iPhone in Dubai
Renting an iPhone in Dubai can be a smart, cost-effective option whether you're in town for business, tourism, events, or short-term projects. However, before you go ahead with a rental, it's important to know what to look out for to avoid technical issues, hidden costs, or unreliable service. Here’s a practical guide to help you make the right decision when you rent iPhone Dubai.
1. Check the iPhone Model and Condition
Always confirm which iPhone model you're getting — whether it's an iPhone 13, 14 Pro, or even the latest iPhone 15. The model should match your performance needs (e.g., camera quality, screen size, or app compatibility). Also, ask whether the phone is new or refurbished and inspect it for scratches, cracks, or battery issues before accepting it. A reputable rent iPhone Dubai provider should supply devices in excellent condition, ready for immediate use.
2. Ensure It’s Unlocked and SIM-Ready
Make sure the rented iPhone is unlocked and can support your preferred SIM card or eSIM. This is especially crucial for travelers using international SIMs or businesses needing local UAE numbers. If you require data, check whether the device comes with a local SIM or if you need to arrange it separately.
3. Understand What’s Included in the Rental Package
Different rental providers offer different packages. Ask what’s included: charging cables, cases, screen protectors, mobile data, or insurance coverage. If you’re renting multiple iPhones for an event or corporate use, check if there are bulk rental discounts or device management support available.
4. Clarify the Rental Duration and Pricing Terms
Before you rent, confirm the daily, weekly, or monthly rates and whether they include VAT. Understand the terms for late returns or accidental damage. Reliable providers in Dubai should offer transparent pricing with clear rental agreements — avoid any company that doesn’t provide upfront details.
5. Ask About Delivery, Pickup, and Support
One of the big advantages of choosing to rent iPhone Dubai is convenience. Many top providers offer delivery to hotels, offices, or event venues, and will pick up the phone once your rental is over. Also, check if they offer tech support during your rental period, especially if you're using the device for presentations, app demos, or other business needs.
Final Thoughts
Choosing to rent iPhone Dubai is a great way to stay connected, save money, and get access to the latest Apple technology without long-term commitment. But to get the most value, make sure you rent from a trusted provider, understand the terms, and select the right device for your needs. Whether you're a visitor, business traveler, or event organizer, a little preparation ensures a smooth rental experience.

Digital Nomad Tech Setup: What I Carry in My Backpack (2025 Edition)
Tumblr media
Let’s talk digital nomad life, the kind where your "office" could be a beach café, a cozy Airbnb in Lisbon, or a shared coworking space in Bali.
Working remotely is a dream… until you realize your tech setup isn’t cutting it.
After some trial, error, and a few “why did I bring this?” moments, I’ve finally dialed in a gear setup that’s light, powerful, and travel-tested.
Here’s exactly what I carry in my backpack as a full-time digital nomad in 2025:
1. MacBook Air M3 (13")
Light. Fast. Quiet. The battery life is (I get around 16–18 hours). It handles video editing, Zoom calls, Notion, and ChatGPT with no complaints.
Would I ever go back to a bulky laptop? Nope.
2. iPhone 15 Pro (with eSIM Setup)
I use eSIMs to hop onto local networks fast, no physical SIM swapping. I also use it as a mobile hotspot when Wi-Fi’s trash (which happens often).
Bonus: It’s my second camera and emergency editing device when I’m on the move.
3. Sony WH-1000XM5 Noise-Canceling Headphones
These have saved me in chaotic hostels, airports, and cafes with screaming espresso machines. Comfortable for long work sessions and crystal clear for calls.
4. Anker Power Bank (20,000mAh)
Never underestimate how fast your battery dies on a travel day. This bad boy can charge my phone 4x or top up my MacBook in a pinch.
5. Travel Wi-Fi Router (GL.iNet Slate AX)
This is essential if you need a secure connection in Airbnbs or shared spaces. I use it with a local SIM or ethernet to create my own private Wi-Fi.
6. Logitech MX Anywhere 3 Mouse
Game-changer for productivity. Lightweight, rechargeable, and super responsive on any surface—even your lap or a café table.
7. Multi-Port Travel Adapter + USB-C Hub
Because nothing is more annoying than not being able to plug in. Mine supports 100+ countries and charges 5+ devices at once.
8. Extras I Don’t Leave Home Without
Collapsible laptop stand (ergonomics matter)
Compact USB-C external SSD (1TB)
Noise-canceling earplugs (for flights and sleep)
Kindle Paperwhite (mental breaks + no eye strain)
Airtag in my backpack (for peace of mind)

Final Thoughts
The best digital nomad gear isn’t about having more, it’s about having smarter tools that earn their space in your bag.
Everything I carry has been tested on the road, and most of it fits in a single 20L backpack.
If you’re building your setup: start small, invest slowly, and don’t forget the backup charger.

Unlocking Value: The Real Deal on iPhone 12 Price Unlocked
The iPhone 12 continues to be a popular choice among smartphone enthusiasts, combining performance, design, and reliable Apple ecosystem integration. As the market for unlocked phones grows, many consumers are now more interested in purchasing iPhones without being tied to a specific carrier. This shift makes understanding the iPhone 12 price unlocked even more relevant today, especially for buyers who value freedom and flexibility.
When considering an unlocked iPhone 12, it's essential to recognize that pricing varies based on factors such as storage capacity, condition (new or refurbished), and region. On average, the price of a brand-new unlocked iPhone 12 with 64GB of storage ranges between $500 to $650. Models with 128GB or 256GB can cost slightly more, often pushing the price toward the $700 mark. Refurbished or certified pre-owned options can bring that cost down significantly, often under $500, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
The iPhone 12 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, A14 Bionic chip, and dual-camera system, ensuring it still holds strong against many newer models. These features, paired with software updates for years to come, mean the iPhone 12 remains a smart investment even after newer models have launched. One key benefit of choosing an unlocked model is compatibility. Whether you're traveling or switching carriers, an unlocked iPhone 12 gives you the freedom to use SIM cards from various networks without limitations.
When shopping for the iphone 12 pro unlocked, buyers should be prepared for slightly higher prices. Due to its advanced features like the triple-camera system, LiDAR scanner, and additional RAM, the iPhone 12 Pro typically ranges from $600 to $800, depending on its condition and storage configuration. However, this price still reflects great value considering the Pro’s capabilities.
One must also consider warranty, authenticity, and return policy when buying an unlocked phone, especially from third-party sellers. Trusted retailers or certified pre-owned programs often provide added peace of mind with product guarantees and return options.
Ultimately, the decision to go unlocked depends on your lifestyle needs. If you travel frequently or dislike long-term carrier contracts, an unlocked iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro provides maximum flexibility without compromising on performance. With competitive pricing available both online and in stores, this remains a prime time to invest in one of Apple’s most balanced and dependable smartphones.
