One thing that's funny to me about Canesword (Roman Torchwick x Adam Taurus) is that there is no height difference what so ever. Roman's like an inch shorter than Adam. Both of these goobers (affectionate) are over 6 ft tall, Roman is 6' 3" and Adam is 6' 4".

Why don’t you ship it? - It's a cool ship lmao, but I think Adam would clobber Roman for being a racist asshole. I also think Roman would fray his nerves faster than either of them would like, so yeah. Not the right type of Funny Man to Adam's Straight Man, unfortunately.

What would have made you like it? - More interaction. PLEASE. More fucking interaction, especially with how closely they worked together in the Beacon Era.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? - I know for a fact Roman is the "I like the type of person who would just kill me" dude, and Adam like his men absolutely pathetic. I can just see Adam benching Roman as an exercise while Roman is just letting him, or them just causing general chaos together.

Honestly I don't know which possible weapon setup is funnier for P5 verse!Naoto: Double wielding g u n (handgun w/ special ammunition and the model shotgun) or canesword and a handgun. The two guns would show she's using Metaverse as a way to be the sniper with a shotgun and the gun + cane sword the more subtle and "sneaky" approach.

Or I could do the "she tried the dual combo but stuck with two guns" bc fuck you she wants to try the funny sword strat.

Xander is just so, so smart and talented. He's a doctor so he's smart in that regard. But he also managed to survive the city and being kidnapped. Sure, the Countess wanted him alive, but he also had to navigate around the city before.

He's also great with the canesword. I like to think that he comes from a wealthy family and thus had a fencing hobby, hence why he's so good with the rapier.

And he's an artist!! Diagetically the art in the journal is made by him (irl it was drawn by Dakota Lee).

Aleksi hasn’t had too many friends growing up, but that’s not something he’s been particularly sad about: the friendships he did have were very deep and he was very close with them. His first friend—who he could consider a best friend was Dianthe! And Dianthe is dead. Uh. I’m still working on how they met, but as of late I’ve been thinking about them (Dia) being stuck in Alek’s head… as a voice! (IF you remember what character I took that idea from (one of my own, mind you) I will give you a cookie)

RUNAWAY BY AURORA OMG it is so himmmm running and running and running and wanting nothing but to return home even though this running has brought you experiences you never thought you would have grrr I’m gonna go feral if I keep talking about this so. Next!

Ahh… love songs… Aleksi’s love interest is Li Hua! In case you didn’t know— I’m kinda bad at finding love songs. (<- is aromantic) but I have something! Fear not! 産声 by Omonitake! listen I’m going off the English lyrics but listen… Very yearning… the singer is holding themself back from admitting feelings for another… they haven’t felt this kind of emotion in a long time… uh the instruments are cool… I’m bad at this Bun 😭 it’s them trust me 🙏

I don’t think Aleksi is the type to lash out at someone because of hating them, but I also think that—at the beginning of the story—if he could maybe… ‘lightly’ punch one of the main cast (any, it doesn’t matter) in the face, it would help him. A little.

22) Fight or Flight? Are they a lover or a fighter?

Definitely fight. Perhaps freeze… but mostly fight. As for whether or not he’s a lover or a fighter, I’d say he’s a mix of both—leaning fighter.

I’ve actually kind of redid this part of her lore: She used to just have two swords Then I swapped those with a canesword Then I did more digging and realized caneswords kinda suck… So I switched to a spear! Then I realized they (the city) would not allow a citizen to carry around a spear all willy nilly so I dropped that (at least for the time she’s in the city) Plus it would be awkward to carry both a cane and a spear, especially in a cramped space like a city… So finally I (shakily) decided to have her use her cane (basically her main strat is 🏌️‍♀️💥ing) And a small knife (or two or three or four maybe…) While she was a knight she used a spear!

and as for 30…

First off Grubs (Annelida D Grubs) (she/they) is a rambunctious plasmoid who likes dinosaurs, skateboarding, and mischief. they're made of slime and have a dinosaur hoodie they wear most of the time which has a little fake tail (drawing 2)

second is Mori! (he/him) he's like if frankenstien's monster was a detective, had a cat, was in a sci-fi world, and had literally everything going wrong at all times. He's very stressed and only drinks coffee and is haunted by a ghost, he has a cane that's a canesword but you can choose wether to draw him with it or not, it is just plain and doesn't have any decorations on it. his eyes have light yellow irises like the second photo

next is Dot, who is a pop star, fairy, and an absolute menace. She's a bit of an evil mastermind but has a goofy silly guy persona. Feel free to put her in whatever outfit you feel like, her fashion sense is anything that could be described as "too much" (also she's like really short cause of dnd fairy rules, like 3 feet)

And lastly Edith Prichard (he/she/they) , who I can't say much about because my players follow me on tumblr and his backstory is a mysteryyyy, but she runs an academy and is currently trying to save a train wreck of a field trip (students almost died by crocodile day 1). tattoos are optional.

Nicknames: Roman calls Adam "Red." I imagine that he calls Adam more lovey-dovey nicknames, like "Heart of mine," or "Beloved," and "Doll."

There's a nickname Roman calls Adam when they're alone, "My rose," which never ceases to make Adam blush.

Compared to Roman, Adam only has two nicknames for Roman, "Beau," and "Rome."

Whereas Roman is outwardly affectionate and romantic, Adam is serious and reserved, showing his affection towards Roman in his own quiet way.

Had to bring out the ol' canesword today. For fun, I said. My boss thought it was novel. She wanted to know if I could do tricks with it. I could, but not on a day when it's keeping me upright!

The Crowmen are fucking terrifying. Quick attacks so even if you block with the canesword, it's still hell to counter them, they can spit acid at a range, you can't backstab them because of their steel spine, and they take 2 shotgun shells to bring down, the most of any enemy outside of the goatman but that's a boss. They don't even have eyecones so you can't tell where they're looking or if they've seen you. Take a ton of sword swipes too.

Funnily enough, I actually accidentally skipped the first half of their introduction because I used the undertaker to get to the shipping company early, meaning my first encounter was three spawning behind you when you turn on the generator to open the bridge.

Looking at their model in the screenshot, it sorta looks like they're wearing something similar to the huntsmen. The only difference is the lack of the skirt thing, and the hat is a different shape. Plus, the crowmen's clothes seem shrunken somehow.

This is something cishet men have been sitting waiting to happen for a very long time, btw. Due to "minority good, majority bad," politics, the only way they'd have any empathy for a man is if a female transitions into one.

And even then, under the openly social constructionist Intersectional Feminism, they try to yell, "THIS IS FINE! THIS IS NORMAL! IT'S DIFFERENT FOR TRANSMEN, WHO ARE OPPRESSED, FROM CISMEN, WHO ARE OPPRESSORS! DESPITE A MAN BEING A MAN BEING A MAN!" They know that doesn't square away. They know it's hypocritical to say transmen are men and then continue to treat cismen like monsters but transmen as brave victims-but-potential-oppressors.

As a man if you try to bring up this topic, they disregard what you say, respond to you as if you're some sort of chimera of Ben Shapiro genetically recombined with the neckbearded canesword carrying fedoralord amalgamation of all shallow, socially maladjusted conservative sheltered and indolent immature men, and make mock empathy noises or shout you down until you be quiet.

But if you do that to a transman, suddenly you look like an asshole that hates transpeople. The snake eats its own tail.

Like back in the 80s and 90s when the big hot button issue was race relations, and the family or neighborhood loudmouth white feminist was told to kindly stop speaking over black people (or any flavor of non-white) for moral supremacy assertion points. However, I will say what's good for the transgander is not necessarily what's good for the cisgander, and I worry this is still a bad place to be in, because it gives the transgander a reason to demand changes that accommodate only the transgander's preferences, and alienate the cisgander. Needs may be at odds to paradoxical. If their solution for this discrimination and disparity is expansion of the institutions intersectional feminists control to argue they get to represent cismen in the name of intersectional feminist ideals, and speak over men that do not agree with their puppet representation, then the intersectionals are far more likely to accommodate transmen if they get to treat transmen and their needs as the default. We'll just have to see how this continues to develop.

idk man i think that if you can read dozens and dozens of trans men talking about how their support systems abandoned them when they started getting too masculine on T or had top surgery or whatever, and queer spaces started treating them like threats or potential predators, and you find these stories going back to the 90s or even earlier, and you read all of that and come away thinking that there’s nothing wrong with how progressive communities treat men, you are just fundamentally beyond help dude. you don’t see us as people
