I thought I'd save time and set SpeedGrader by Student Group, not a good idea for individual assignments. Maybe I would jump back into setting and reset when grading the group projects?

I thought I’d save time and set SpeedGrader by Student Group, not a good idea for individual assignments. I found very hard to work through assignments by requiring a group selection. The group selection SpeedGrader will then open in a new tab, and you can’t pick a new group from the same tab. Maybe I would jump back into setting and reset when grading the group projects?

PORTAL is an online training company that specialises in helping Online Professional Development who speak English as a foreign language, learn new skills and/or keep existing skills fresh.Founded in 2017 by James McCallum, PORTAL uses digital tools like Slack, CanvasLMS and Zoom to engage with students in an intense personalised training process that ranges from four weeks to one year. In 2018, students from 10+ countries worldwide participated, with more students being added each session.

Each session of the training is led by an instructor, who engages with students in individual and/or group work. At the end of each training Milestone, both students and the instructor assess each other and learning outcomes are discussed. Students also identify what they have learnt and how they are applying the knowledge to their day-to-day business activity.  The program is synchronous, with regular deadlines, discussions, and face-to-face video calls. It is entirely based online, with students participating in their home or workplace.
