The whole plot to separate them in season 4 was heavy and tiring...

You know Carlos and Lidia were the real love story but the writers were too afraid and lazy to forget about the fanservice. They wanted us to believe that Francisco was the main love interest. But boy he was the second lead as we say in kdramas. And what a bad second lead. I really liked him in the first season. But after that he became miserable and pointless. Their whole "ten years apart" or whatever thing that was became boring and not even angsty. Carlos and Lidia had development and changed throughout their whole relationship. And Carlos had personality and a storyline. Like for real I feel like he was more present than Francisco. She always chose him because she loved him and felt alive with him. I feel like Lidia got emotions after being with Carlos because in season one she sometimes came off as cold to me. But in season two she felt like a real person. And it was not believable for me that she still had feelings or those kind of feelings for Francisco because there was nothing when they were together. ( Though I have to admit that in season one I almost thought they were cute but it became boring) Just that "ten years ago..." thing. Did he even love Lidia or Alba ? Because Lidia was a complete new person. But it's good to know there was no endgame.

And the way they tried to ruin Carlos character to make Francisco look better? I don't know what they thought we would do but I don't hate him because I know that Carlos was a good man and a deeper character than Francisco ever was. He really deserved better.

Quiero decir que supongo que no tuvieron otra elección después de hacerle un fascista, pero Carlo no merecía este tratamiento en los últimos capítulos del programa. No hay ninguna manera que el Carlos de los primeros 3 tempranos sería un espía fascista, no tiene sentido

carlidia’s first kiss has got to be one of the best first kiss scenes in tv history like..... him telling her how serious he is about her, the “entonces no me romperías el corazón” line, them saying goodbye then lidia calling carlos’ name and going up to kiss him AND THE CHEMISTRYYYY

dude i can’t explain how much it hurted me what they did to Carlos. I can’t accept it. I just can’t believe it they ended his character like that. It’s obvious how they didn’t know what to do anymore

Seamos honestas, le faltaron el respeto al personaje, lo malinterpretaron y lo hicieron el malo, hicieron que pase por cosas dolorosas y horribles. Y no le dieron un momento de felicidad. Cuando la tuvo, junto a Lidia, se la quitaron. Y todos sabemos que Lidia tomó su decisión. Su decisión fue Carlos. Tenían tanta historia y química. Eran el uno para el otro, y es raro de mi parte decir esto de parejas heterosexuales, pero lo eran. Y de verdad me duele, duele mucho.
