More About Roleplaying on Denouement

Denouement is an 18+ pan/multifandom roleplay set in a unique world comprised of four distinct regions with their own quirks, charms, and troubles. We accept fandom canons, fandom originals, fandomless OCs, and even Denouement-born characters. Roleplay takes place across our forum, Discord channels, and Cboxes, allowing our writers total flexibility when it comes to how they want to tell their stories.

As a hybrid RP, it may be a little confusing to understand all of Denouement's working parts. Here's a quick breakdown!

The forum is as an organizational hub for rules, applications, plot info, and so on. It does have in-character forums for traditional, play-by-post roleplay if that is the style of roleplay you are most comfortable with. When you are getting started on Denouement, the forum should be your first stop. All members are required to register an out of character (OOC account); this will act as the parent account for any in character (IC) accounts. Below are some important forum links:

The Discord is where most day-to-day roleplaying, plotting, general chat, and character development happens. Guests are welcome to join the Discord at any time, but will have limited access to the full server until their first character application has been accepted. The Discord hosts in character chat (ICC) channels (for rapidfire posting), forums for threading (long form/multi-para posting), and comms-based roleplay (such as texting).

The Cboxes are chat boxes for ICC/rapidfire posting, as described above, that have been in use since before the popularity of Discord. In addition to the ICC channels described above, we have additional private Cboxes for one-on-one roleplay, as well as the Cbox we call "Main", set in a neutral area called the Welcome Center, where characters can gather at any time for rapidfire RP. Access to the Cboxes is granted after you register your OOC account on the forum.

So whether you prefer the familiarity of forum-based, multipara posting, want to keep everything in one place with Discord, or enjoy the spontaneity of throwing wildly different characters into a public Cbox where anything can happen, we have a place for you. Come check us out!

does chatterbox have any media (tv shows/comics/books/etc) it likes?

HRMMM virtually any cartoons but it really likes stuff frm the 90s the most. it's also a huge fan of schoolhouse rock and anything in a similar vein. LOVES those books where u can touch stuff and peel back flaps and stuff. it can't actually "feel" things with its hands though, it only has touch sensors that let it know its hand is on something but it can't feel texture or hot/cold. in order to tell if something is bumpy, soft etc it uses visual input and matches it w other images of bumpy or soft things to make as accurate of a guess as it can. it really likes those touch and feel books so it can study what different surfaces are like and also so it can imagine what they might feel like

Is there a way to style a div's background image to shrink/expand the image to fit the divs dimentions?

like,,, is there any way to style the second line to 'fit' dimentions? if that makes sence?

(heres how the image looks within the div is thats any help)

or would i just have to manually change the image dimentions till the fit inside?

Aprovechando que FA está de mantenimiento, y como hace tiempo que no hago un update de cosas nuevas de FA, vamos a hacer recapitulación de las cosas más recientes que han integrado.

Botón de ver contraseña: implementado por defecto, modifica (con javascript) los campos de tipo password para incluir un botón que alterna la apariencia de la contraseña.

Color de grupo del usuario conectado agregado al array de _userdata: Se terminó el tener que usar mod_login para esto; ahora podemos usar _userdata.groupcolor para crear nuestra variable de groupbody.

Temas en grid: Con la posibilidad de configurarse en cada subforo por separado en cualquier momento, usando la imagen de SEO, y con un template nuevo, topics_grid_box (sustituye a topics_list_box en estos subforos).

Posibilidad de usar gifs y dados en la CBox.

Widget de novedades: permite mostrar los últimos posts en un subforo determinado.

Widgets en footer: localizados en overall_footer_begin.

Algunos no han sido anunciados por Foroactivo en español, sorprendentemente 😂
