There was a brief period of time when she forgot she could climb. She still wasn’t sure how long it was, could only remember small flashes from that time. Her memory started getting consistent, less blurry when she was six, so it was probably before that.

Her father used to say when she rediscovered that she could climb, she became a menace. She climbed onto the tops of trees, the roof of her house, the roof of her school. He said that before she was so creative, so well-behaved. In those small flashes what she remembered was being a fast runner. Always running away or running towards. Causing problems. Especially for her father.

ok finished CBS Ghosts because again, I have nothing else to do for a few more days... Definitely grew attached to the characters. I’m less annoyed that Trevor is Jewish now that they’ve hardcore leaned into it so it’s not, like, he’s just an evil money-loving man that happens to say oy gevalt, he’s just a douchey frat bro with a surprising heart of gold who’s confirmed Jewish, which is whatever who cares. also I continue to have mixed feelings on Christmas Episodes- they’re usually the ones where we get to see the main crew in shows bond and have sweet loving friendship moments, which I love, but it’s also always in service of teaching everyone that Loving Christmas Is Equivalent To Morality, which is super weird, especially in the context of a several-thousand-year-old caveman who initially found Christmas to be a “new fad” saying that it might stick around (very “well, the other fads didn’t have Jesus Christ on their side” energy), or a Viking who was initially mad that Christmas appropriated his culture deciding that he “learned his lesson” that it’s about friendship instead? Again, I love Robin and Thor learning to soften a bit and accept the love of their found families, but what does that have to do with Christmas? (you can say the same for Abed Nadir or Leslie Knope or Frasier Crane, the list goes on) ANYWAY sorry for my annoying rants which I’m sure someone will come educate me on how it’s problematic of me to be Jewish or whatever, sorry, it’s not really specific to this show, I’m just PMSing which gives me a tendency to ramble on about unrelated things.

But re: the show itself I think CBS Ghosts is very cute and charming and heartwarming, and it’s fun to see them explore stuff that BBC Ghosts doesn’t. Like, it feels like fanfic in the sense that it’s self-indulgent, but instead of being self-indulgent with the specific details like regular fanfic, it’s self-indulgent about plot stuff, which I love. It’s like “fuck it, let’s have the ghosts be able to possess people. Fuck it, let’s have ghost romances and ghost romantic drama. Fuck it, let’s have Sam run into ghosts of people who are relevant to her life and the past lives of her ghost friends” which would not work with the more carefully crafted worldbuilding in the BBC version and would kind of feel like it was cheapening it, like “oh really, now the ghosts can just do anything? so all those emotional moments feel sort of unearned” but in the CBS version it’s already MUCH more lighthearted (again, I know they’re both comedies, but the BBC one is a little more... grounded? Well-written? Idk how to describe it) so it’s like, why not explore wacky Ghostbusters-level antics? It’s like the Three’s Company to the BBC version’s, idk, Parks and Rec. They’re both silly sitcoms but a Three’s Company plotline would feel out of place in Pawnee. Again, I am prone to rambling. But the point is that both shows are fun, even though I do like the BBC version better. It is weird that they currently have the same number of episodes released due to American seasons being way longer lol.

Also I thought it was fun how both Curtis and Cary from The Other Two AND Derek from Shadows show up in it

You need to be really beyond stupid to call Rolando's speech a "reveal" when he used a very famous quote then added a simply courtesy, naming the coworker who is giving him and the show more prestige.

It's called education. Also people there would have frowned if he had named Wendy, as in who the fuck is Wendy. But CB? Everyone knows her already.

You gotta be beyond stupid to take this stuff to build your shipper fanfic while you bury the Tait wedding, the Tait marriage official marriage certificate and Tait's kid under the rug as non important.

Dating in New York absolutely sucks. I have been stood up twice at restaurants, bars, and coffeeshops, there is low effort and energy on the man's part, and it's just been horrendous for the past year.

So, following the advice of an absolute icon of a TikToker, I decided to raise my standards and demand reservations at a restaurant 24 hours in advance, I will not be having sex with them in lieu of a committed relationship, the men will be paying for all dates (but Phoenix! this isn't feminist! until the wage gap is solved men pay for dinner end of story), and for them to either pick me up or send me an Uber. Put all of these directives in my profile.

I have a lot of feelings about Wayne Munson and how he had zero doubt in his mind, from the very beginning, that Eddie had nothing to do with Chrissy's murder.

And how he probably reiterated over and over again to the cops and Hawkins Post how it wasn't Eddie and they just steamrolled him, because he's a dumb Hoosier hick in a trailer park, what does he know? Can't trust trailer trash.

And now he has nothing left but to sit and smoke and worry if his boy's okay or if this horrible monster that killed that sweet cheerleader was after him too.

Roneo and Kimilet - Chapter 1

From the Desk of Sharper This story tells the tale of Kim and Ron in quite an awkward sitch. In the Middleton High version of Romeo and Juliet for Drama Class, Kim and Ron are caught up in playing the roles of Juliet and Romeo, respectively, courtesy of a prank by Bonnie. Can the two friends overcome their fear of stage fright or will they be the laughingstock of the entire school? Meanwhile, a new villain threatens an evil fashion-related plot (It is not Camille Leon or the Fashionistas, by the way.) This story takes place during junior year (Season 3, before the events of So the Drama) after the events of "Rappin' Drakken" Kim Possible, characters and settings, are created by Schooley and McCorkle and (c) by Disney. Any OC I create is my own. Also, special credit goes to Gothicthundra for helping me create the villain of the story. The fanfic is rated K-plus for some crude humor and for some action violence. So with the legal mumbo-jumbo out of the way, let the story commence!

Chapter 1 (February 8, 2006, 10:30am) The bell  had just rung through the halls of Middleton to begin the change from 2nd period to 3rd period.   Kim walked up to her locker. She was wearing dark denim baggy Club Banana overalls over her pink croptop with both straps hooked and paired it with silver dangling earrings and white sneakers. She opened up the locker. "Hey, Wade! What's the sitch?" Kim asked her famous phrase. Wade came onscreen on the monitor in her locker. "Hey, Kim. Everything seems to be quiet now that you foiled Drakken's mind-control shampoo scheme a few days ago on American Starmaker!" the tech genius grinned. "And best thing about it, that smarmy judge isn't as skin-crawling as I thought he would be." Kim said with a smile. "Maybe he'll go easy on the contestants for next week's show."

"Yeah...I sure hope so..." Wade nervously replied, scratching his back. Ron then came up to Kim. He was in his normal outfit/ "Heya, KP! How's it chillin' like a villain?" he asked, using teen lingo. "Ron, can you make it quick? I gotta get to third period!" Kim asked her best friend. "Uh...um,  can we talk about it at lunch with Tara and the others in The Group? It's kinda importante!" Ron suggested. Kim confidently replied, "Sure thing! Whatever sitch you have on your mind, I'm sure we can figure it out!"

_____________________________________________________________________________ (11:30am) It was lunchtime at Middleton High and unfortunately, the infamous smelly mystery meat was on the menu for today. Lunchlady Carol was sloshing around the grayish substance onto the trays of the students. It smelled of dead skunk.   Ron was standing behind Kim. “You know, it's kinda funny that we get served this 'snackage' on a daily basis...” Ron began, using air quotes for snackage. But Kim interrupted him while holding her nose “Ron, I would not exactly call the Middleton High mystery meat 'snackage' if you know what I mean. ” “KP, the senior table...” Ron groaned as he pointed to that famed table. “Think about it! Just a few months from now, it would be our behinds on those seats."

"Couldn't agree with ya more, Ron." Kim replied before she spotted Monique getting her food. Like with Kim, Monique was in the Club Banana dark denim baggy overalls, both straps hooked, over her purple shirt. She topped the outfit with giant gold hoop earrings and cowboy boots that the overalls were partially tucked into. "Heya, Moni!" Kim exclaimed, waving to her best (female) friend. Ron and Rufus also waved to Monique as well.

"Hey, Kim and Ron!" Monique replied, waving back before taking her seat. Her lunch consisted of the infamous Mystery Meat, chocolate milk, and a vegetable surprise...that she doesn't wanna know. Tara also came in as well. She was in a CB Denim Jumpsuit and black high heeled boots. The top three buttons of Tara's jumpsuit were unbuttoned, revealing an Oh Boyz croptop and two long gold necklaces. "Hey, everyone!" Tara chimed in as she sat down. "So what's the 411, girl?" the fashionista then added. "Not much really since me and Ron foiled Drakken's delusions of getting 15 minutes of fame last week." Kim replied while uneasily eating the mystery meat. "And I got a B-minus from Barkin due to my creative rapping of Rufus!" Ron beamed proudly. "That was a fun song, Ron!" Tara agreed. "You must be very proud of it!"

"Indeed I am, Tara!" Ron beamed. "Pretty much quiet on the bad-villain-taking-over-the-world front, huh?" Monique question. "For now, yes." Kim said, "But evil plots can happen at any time."

"That is a true fact, KP." Ron said, agreeing with her. Rufus also nodded his head as well.

"We just gotta be on our toes, that's all. It's so not the drama!" Kim replied, taking another bite of the mystery meat. "Speaking of which, Kim, isn't our next class Drama?" Ron asked. "Duh, Ron! It was on our syllabus for this semester!" Kim reminded him. Tara nodded her head, "Yeah, I heard from the grapevine that something big is coming up for that class. Something that is going to count for 25% of our grade!" "It's no big, Tara!" Kim laughed, "We can take whatever Miss Tudor dishes out at us!" She was referring to the normal Drama teacher for their class.   Zita also came to the table as well with a piece of paper in her hand. She was wearing her Club Banana carpenter jeans with a purple belt and a purple top, plus blue hoop earrings to complete the outfit. "Zita! What's happenin', girl?" Monqiue asked. "Heya, Zita! Anything new going on?" Kim also asked as well. "Hey, everyone!" Zita replied while lying the piece of paper on the table, "I'm trying to spread a petition to get to the school board to change the...'exquisite' menu the high school has been serving to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors." "No joke, Zita. My mom's brain loaf that she served last week is far more edible than this garbage." Kim sighed, twirling her fork into the indescribable food. "I would worry if the FDA can even define it as food!" Monique said with disgust, pushing away her tray. "How many signatures have you gotten?" Ron wondered. Zita sighed, showing the paper to them. "Only 79 signatures from the students so far. In order to reach the Middleton Unified School System board, it has to reach 200."

Tara muttered, "Yeah, even if it gets to that mark, it's not going to make it past Veronica Rockwaller, the superintendent of the district."

Kim shuddered, "Oh...I always hate the fact that Bonnie wraps her mother around her finger."

"Frankly, I'm more worried for my poor rump..." Ron groaned, rubbing his buttocks, "...after a few dates with her Swatter ."

He was referring to the infamous wooden paddle that Veronica normally uses to punish almost all the students within the school district.....that is, with the exception of her offspring. "And speaking of that..." Monique said in interfering the conversation. She pointed out Bonnie entering into the Senior Table. She was wearing a pink croptop and, like Zita, was wearing the Club Banana baggy jeans, but she was exposing the rim of her yellow CB boxers. "Bonnie just loves to play around with the dress code, doesn't she..." Tara muttered. Even though Tara was one of Bonnie's friends, the former did not like the things of what the latter was doing, especially to the smart students of the school. "What?! That so a foul play by a Rockwaller when I see it!" Kim snarled at her rival. "I thought the Senior Table was only for seniors..." Ron wondered. "Not exactly." Tara said, "There is a unwritten loophole in which an undergrad student at MHS can sit at the Senior Table if and only if that student's partent sits on the MUSS school board."

"Look at  that sniveling brunette...thinking she's on top of the world with her invite to the Senior table, her drivers license, and her dating Brick..."

Monique tapped her on the shoulder, "Um....as of today, are those two off or on?" "They're on...again!!" Tara complained. "And Junior Prom is, like, the first Saturday of May!" Kim exclaimed. "I tell you, Tara. One day, everything is going to come crashing down on her head!" "Karma is one big ugly thing, KP. Once it starts, it's never going to stop." Ron said. "Like the avalance you nearly caused two weeks earlier in the Alps against Dementor?" Kim snickered, lightening up the mood from her rivalry with Bonnie...if only for a moment. "Caused by my mad yodeling skills." Ron admitted. Monique laughed a little, "You have a talent at yodeling?"

"I actually did." Ron said, blushing at the cheeks. "He tried it at the talent show during freshman year...got vegetabled to the face!" Kim said. "Still can't get those tomato stains off my shirt in the laundry!" Ron uttered, not wanting to recall the incident. "Cheer practice is going to start next period before Drama class!" Kim said as the Group all stood up from the table, not wanting to eat any more of the mystery meat. The peppy redhead also added in sarcastically. "I can't wait to see what Bonnie has in store in her complaints department."

Something for Everyone (unless you liked Jadzia) in S7 DS9!

How exactly does one pick top and bottom episodes from a clump that’s mostly serial? A Star to Steer Her By found a way! It’s a strange final season of Deep Space Nine that’s split almost evenly between the ongoing storyline of the show and a bunch of episodes to pad for time while the writers created that ongoing storyline for the show.

Bottom Three Episodes

This season really suffers from some characters regressing hard as if they didn’t make any development over the course of the show. Some regressed so hard, they basically restarted the character (oof, too soon…).

“Afterimage”: Chris Quick! We’ve only got a couple episodes to establish Ezri as a character because we were huge dicks to the last Dax and killed her off. Let’s rush through showcasing this new Dax in a barely formed plot mostly spent treating her like a sex object. Check, check, and check!

“Take Me Out to the Holosuite”: Ames, Caitlin Season 7 is all about wrapping up the Dominion War arc, but let’s pause that for two weeks to have a goofy baseball game that is entirely lifted from every other TV show, to wash all the sci-fi off the show, and to just crack jokes that don’t land. That’s strike three; you’re outta here!

“The Emperor’s New Cloak”: Caitlin, Jake Mirror universe episodes tend to always feel like fanfic as it is, but our final trip through the looking glass basically said “Hold My Beer.” The whole thing felt like a checklist of in-jokes, some tropey character nonsense, and even more objectifying women to round it off!

“Extreme Measures”: Ames, Caitlin Julian goes full hypocrite in this not-even-a-little-bit-surreal mindtrip when he kidnaps and tortures Sloan, gets him absolutely killed, and takes a whole episode for a boring brain adventure. This is not the Julian we thought we knew, and it’s a shame.

“Chrysalis”: Chris, Jake And that’s not even the worst thing Julian has done lately! He has fully reverted to his sleazy season-one self, grooming women so he can date them, performing surgeries on them to “fix them,” and still somehow making everything about him. Gross, Julian. Gross.

“Field of Fire”: Ames, Chris, Jake One thing we can say about our new Trill character is at least she’s consistent… because every single time we do a Trill episode, it’s entirely contradictory of all the preceding Trill episodes to the point of confoundment! Joran is the worst he’s been and what even is this new overpowered weapon?

Top Three Episodes

On the flip side, this season also benefits from how varied its episodes are that it really does somehow have something for everyone, especially if you love you some schlock!

“Take Me Out to the Holosuite”: Chris Sigh. Chris likes doofy, fillery episodes and I’m not even going to try to parse why this time. The uniforms looked good, I guess? That must be it. If you like doofy, fillery episodes and aren’t bored to tears by baseball, then this episode… has some good uniforms for you.

“Once More Unto the Breach”: Jake We love us a good Klingon episode and this one’s got a lot to sink your teeth into. It was an excellent send off for the long-established character of Kor, it reflected on some of the less honorable elements of Klingon culture, and Worf got to put his knife skills on display!

“Badda-Bing Badda-Bang”: Caitlin Heist episodes of the world, take note! This is how you pace and tell a concise, interesting, coherent, and clever heist story. Placement in the middle of the war arc aside, this episode gave us some great acting, costumes, music, film techniques, the works! Badda bing!

“The Siege of AR-558”: Chris, Jake We’ve also got a straight-up war episode featuring some tense ground patrol action, horrifying new weapons, and Quark with a gun! Also we see actual consequences for characters’ actions! What Star Trek so far has ever given us that before?

“Treachery, Faith, and the Great River”: Ames, Jake Proving that two Jeffrey Combses are better than one, this episode doubles your Weyouns and gives us some excellent Vorta time that really kicks you in the feels. It would take a bunch more Weyouns to reach the level of this excellent story. Those are our demands, Star Trek; get on it.

“The Changing Face of Evil”: Ames, Caitlin One of the absolute highlights of the big honkin’ ten-part finale is the Dukat-Winn relationship you never realized you needed. The hottest elements of which are all on display in this episode in particular, which are all pretty drool-worthy, but the most props go to Louise Fletcher for totally selling every moment.

“It’s Only a Paper Moon”: Ames, Caitlin, Chris This episode achieves the impossible: It gives us some really genuinely good Vic Fontaine. All the credit, of course, does go to Aron Eisenberg for his really touching and complete characterization of post-traumatic stress disorder. Thank you, ensign Nog, for being such a treasure.

18- Current number of wips?Technically I’m only working on one - a Scott Pilgrim-esque fic with poor, poor Bucky being terrorized by Clint’s seven evil(?) exes. There are two versions of this fic, though, and I ditched the 7k I already wrote. :,) A snip:

Bucky isn’t going to look up, but then he sees sudden movement from the corner of his eye and glances over just as a guy in a bright purple jacket trips over nothing and falls on his face. There’s a painful thump and he winces in sympathy, then wonders what kind of a neon-dressed idiot just falls over their feet like that.

“Are you alright, sir?”

“Fine,” the guy wheezes, heaves himself into a standing position. “I’m fine.”

Bucky, as it turns out, is decidedly not fine because Neon Idiot Guy is hot.

22- Events you participated in this year:

I did my first ever fic auction via @charityhawktion and it was a blast! That’s not fair. I’m arresting you for this question. God, there’s so many good fics and so many good writers in this community and I love everyone. This year I made friends and I’m delighted over all of you. Special mention authors are @kangofu-cb @lissadiane @flowerparrish @hawksonfire @avakellyfiction @claraxbarton and @villainny slash @winterhawkkisses and @sevdrag @fadedsepiascribbles and @greyishbobbi and @theassetsass and I am forgetting people but this is going to be so long but know that I love you all.

See some people complaining about the CB villains and then there’s Uka Uka, what is it with people writing about him and Hell?? Completely out of character.

“Cortex this is my teacher or whatever from the seven depths of Hell who taught me to use Voodoo”  Uhhh??? What? The fanfic was pretty much about Cortex being a pervert to N. Gin’s new GF that mysteriously showed up out of nowhere (literally) and then Uka comes in talking about his...mentor or teacher from Hell??? And then there’s other fanfics about Uka Uka and Hell but uh....those are the worst. Just all of it is obvious OOC for all the characters. For some reason Aku Aku’s useless, he just talks and does nothing meanwhile horrible crap is happening to the bandicoots mostly Coco. Why is it always Coco?

All you need to know about Uka Uka is that he’s:

-Always angry

-Always tired

-Depressed (Won’t admit it to anyone though some of his minions seem to know about this)

-Just wants a body of his own (Won’t admit it)

-Wants to be respected as much as his brother Aku Aku is (Again won’t admit it but he’ll demand it on some way)

-Loves Nina like a daughter and treats her better than the other scientists (He’ll be on Cortex’s side because of her mostly)

-Secretly misses Aku Aku but won’t admit it (He certainly didn’t hesitate to help Aku Aku fight the evil twins in Twinsanity)

I’m tired of seeing the cliche “Younger twin is pure evil and only wants to kill everyone no matter what” give them a personality! So far Uka’s got his own that we rarely see from him but it’s hinted that he’s not just this pure evil spirit that loves killing, he actually cares about someone other than himself.

the bob's burgers movie was SO GOOD I need to see it again immediately. the score and songs were amazing and the animation was slick as hell too. when people talk about their comfort shows like that is Bob's Burgers for me. I'm so proud to see them on the big screen! go burger people!!!!
