English Project Pair [Kaito x Hanoka]

They were to pair up and play out a scene from Shakespeare for English class, and Kaito found himself without anyone to approach, except for one particular female.

Kaito had heard rumours that Hanoka's father was a villain, why people were avoiding her, thinking she had some hereditary potential to become one too. He didn’t buy that though, then again, he was an outcast for a different reason.

His parents were not villains, but heroes who passed away tragically while on duty. So he was raised by his Uncle Tatso, who became a teacher at UA, and their homeroom teacher. Naturally, everyone thought Kaito got into UA through family influence and or money, despite him getting in on his own merits.

While things were fine when it came to individual work, when it came to potential teamwork like this? It was an obstacle he had to overcome, but only by working with another.

“Excuse me. Would you, like to work together on this?” he asked as he sat next to Hanoka. Kaito was not scared of her, guess more scared that she wouldn’t want to work with him now that he asked first.

Naruto tilted his head, it took him a few seconds to realise who she was, especially with that surname.

"Yakushi, wait, you're Kabuto's daughter?!" Naruto asked her unsurely. It was good the Hidden Sound village was back, as long they weren't starting any trouble. Then again, Sasuke would have warned him if she was a threat.

Valentine's Day 2025 [Kaito x Hanoka]

Hi Kaito,

Happy Valentine's day. I hope you like your gifts this day. :3 I know your busy today due to some missions from what I remember. Though it's fine! I know your always busy just like me since I'm doing a mission myself.

Anyway, lets have a small dinner together after our missions are done. And if not, we can always have other ideas for later.

Kaito knew he would be leaving for his mission in the morning, so he was grateful to Hanoka for her efforts, even though he told her not to worry about it. Still, they were dating now, and how busy they were had never stopped them before when they were close friends.

She was thoughtful as always, knowing him, Kaito would be fussing over where to put the flowers if they weren’t in a vase. Hanoka’s hand made gifts were her trademark, so he’d keep this one close to him as he went on his mission, and would read her card before he left.

Kaito had prepared an order to be sent to Hanoka’s place from the Yamanaka Flower shop, included was a bouquet of roses, a heart shaped box of chocolates, and a card that read:

“Dear Hanoka,

Happy Valentine’s Day, I hope this gets to you in a timely manner. I know we both may be busy on missions today, but if we are both back before the day ends, I wouldn’t mind going out with you at night to mark the occasion. We can make Valentine’s Day plans for the day after, or whenever we are both back and available.

Regardless, have a wonderful day, I will make it up to you when I come back. I love you very much, and will see you soon.

By the time his mission was over and he returned to Konoha, it was already 11pm. Kaito hoped he didn’t keep Hanoka waiting long, assuming she wasn’t busy with her mission still. Using his unique chakra sensing though, he locked onto Hanoka’s chakra and then headed her way. It would be a surprise to her regardless because he would try giving her a sneaky hug from behind, though releasing a bit of his chakra beforehand to let her know it was him and not some assassin.

"Really? That's good..." Kaito replied, pleasantly surprised at Dez's words. They were unwinding for the night, cuddling while watching TV together.

Kaito never saw himself as a typical manly man, so it was nice to hear that Dez felt safe with him, that he didn't need to be physically tough to do so. It also helped with some insecurity, that Dez could do better than him.

He knew he wouldn't last long in a fight, maybe that was why he invented a robot dog for Dez's birthday, to kind of make up for that weakness. That robot dog named Raito was resting on next to Dez, automated to be as cute and affectionate as the real thing.

"Are you happy, Dez? With me?" Kaito had to ask, to get it out of his system. He didn't want this feeling of doubt to linger for the rest of the night, they had been together long enough for her to be able to read his face.

“You ate one?” Grimmjow was surprised, but it did explain things, the Quincy were like special humans after all.

“Well? What do they taste like then?” he asked her. It was hard to tell if Grimmjow was fact checking Mode or was genuinely curious.

No Nut Nov 2024 [Ichigo x Rukia]

“So I heard it this month is called ‘No Nut November’ so I took the liberty of throwing out all your chocolate bars that had nuts in them so you wouldn’t be tempted. You’re welcome, Ichigo!”

"Wait, that was you?! Damn it Rukia, you have to stop taking things so literally!" Ichigo growled at her. Yes, she meant well, but she couldn't be more backward with her helping.

He deliberately bought those chocolate nut bars in bulk, for him to snack on them if he needed an energy boost, especially for when he was studying long hours.

"Please tell me you didn't throw them in the trash, they cost a fair amount too you know," Ichigo spoke with a sigh, hoping he could at least salvage some, Rukia was technically throwing out the money he spent too. Last thing he needed was to have to do a ridiculous errand for Urahara just to make some extra cash.

There wasn't even a free table in the cafeteria! Elizabeth came over later, staying late in class, so she didn't have time to take a seat. Kaito was kind enough to let her sit down next to him.

Elizabeth placed the tray of food on the table and sat across from him herself. She looked at Kaito and then at the tray she had food on. It was simple waffles and two bags of cherry juice.

“Have you eaten yet? Take it,” she nodded, sliding one juice packet over to Kaito. “As a token of thanks.”

Kaito was sitting by himself at his own table. While he wasn't exactly a loner, he had a couple of friends at least, he just wasn't in a particular group that ate together at the cafeteria.

"Well," Kaito started, so he might have forgotten to eat, because of the stack of papers next to him. These included a lot of information on UA when it came to the curriculum and code of conduct, keeping himself informed kept him busy at times. He might have taken his role as class president a little too seriously with the extra time he put into it.

"Thanks, I'll have it on the go while I get my food," he said gratefully as he stood up, grabbing the juoice that was offered to him. Kaito just didn't want to potentially make a fool of himself in front of her, the worst case scenario that he made a mess of opening it.

He soon returned, with a bento box of various sushi. It was his usual go to when he wasn't especially craving anything. "You can have some of mine if you'd like, I don't mind sharing," Kaito offered, having grabbed an extra pair of chopsticks just in case.

Xan & Zizzi vs. Super Buu @bluemajingirl

Last Time on Dragon Ball Z: Majin Buu has killed the Supreme Kai Shin, the Z Fighters, and most of humanity. Xan an apprentice Supreme Kai, takes Shin’s place as Whis summons a blue Majin Time Patroller named Zizzi as Beerus’ replacement. Xan is distrusting of Zizzi as she is a Majin like Buu, they are unable to defeat Buu and resort to training in the Room of Spirit and Time.

Xan and Zizzi finally exited from the Room of Spirit and Time, where two to three days had passed since on Earth. “What is this energy? Is that Buu?” Xan commented in shock at what he was sensing, his ki was somehow more sinister than before.

“After Buu killed most of humans by turning them into candy and eating them, he actually settled down in a home for himself and even adopted a dog. Unfortunately some survivors killed the dog out of revenge, and Buu somehow split into two. This new Buu ate the one you saw and transformed into what you’re sensing. He killed the rest of humanity with a single attack, you must stop him before he finds us here-“ Dende explained, soon seeing the new Buu arrive on the Lookout.

“You two, have become stronger than last time…” Buu addressed Xan and Zizzi with a grin, ready for a rematch.

“Yeah, just like you have. But this time, we will destroy you!” Xan declared, then threw his hands in front of him to release a shockwave. Soon Buu was blasted off the Lookout, down back towards the ground below.  “Let’s go, Zizzi!”

As they raced after Buu to set the stage back down on Earth and away from the lookout, Xan established a mental link with Zizzi to speak through her mind with his telepathy.

“I realise now why I could not seal Buu with the Evil Containment Wave before, my heart was not in the right place to use it successfully. I was arrogant, believing the technique just by itself would work, there was no sacrifice on my part. Unlike the previous users that used it to save the Earth in their time, I brought shame to their legacy,” Xan admitted, talking about Master Mutaito and Master Roshi who used it on Demon King Piccolo at the cost of their lives. “That is why. If your finisher attack does not work Zizzi, that will be my last resort. I will sacrifice my life force to seal Majin Buu if I must.”
