Summary: A night of celebration has you crossing paths with Jake during the era of the Black Smoke Rising EP release. You have just graduated with your Masters and you are officially on your way. I read a transcript for the FE Echoes drama CD (linked below the cut) and had to draw some scenes from it. Coincidentally, I started with the Alm & Lukas hug at the end first, so what better artwork to use for the FE Aspec Week's Friendship prompt!

For anyone who wants more Fire Emblem Awakening content (with fem!Robin specifically), the CD drama #2 is actually pretty good. I’ll link it down below. (There are actually four of these, but the second is the only one I’ve listened to rn. Here’s a link to a Reddit analysis of all four dramas: link).

I liked it a lot, and it’s short enough that you could listen/watch it all in one sitting. I say watch because it’s all in Japanese, but fear not! A creator on YouTube as kindly made visualizations to go along with an English translation in the style of FEA, making easy to follow along. Wish they did these in English, but to my knowledge these are Japanese only. Shame.

So, this takes place shortly after chapter 10 (aka Midmire), which should probably tell you everything you need to know about how everyone is holding up. There’s not a whole lot I can say without spoilers, but it was an intriguing listen and the acting is really good! Genuinely made me tear up in some places, and it was fun to see what they did with certain characters. Some of my favorite parts are definitely how they interact with and/or react to Robin in this one, as the main conflict is centered around her. This one features Chrom, Robin, Lissa, Frederic, Virion, Stahl, Gaius, and two others I’ll keep mum about ;)

Do you think that even if Rafal didn't killed the xenoRoyals and turned them into Corrupted, the xenoRoyals would have still tried to kill each other ?

Complicated answer.

Here is the thing. We only have how they behave in the DLC as indicator of who they are, however, we do know that Rafal made sure they acted as when they were alive back then to not raise Nel's suspicion and that most of them such as Fellgado decided to let go free of their "real nature" in their Corrupted state.

So one thing for sure, is that their characterization was independent of Rafal's intervention. We also know that Solm was at war with Elusia in the Xenologue because Ivy revered Sombron while Solm was basically so pious that it couldn't tolerate it whereas Céline wanted to attack Brodia "for her people's sake". After all, the only thing that tied them together, Isekai Alear was now dead and that is pretty much something Rafal had nothing to do with (considering he needed Alear power to break the shard on Eddie's bracelet I don't think he would have tried to kill them... at least not right away) and Isekai Alear's death already lead XenElyos to the pitful state it was in due to the lack of Divine blessings. Maybe in others circumstances, the Royals, the 4 Wings, Rafal and Nel could have worked together to make their world into a stable environement despite the extinct of all divine dragons (and i just got a new idea of a story where instead of what happened in the Xenologue, it's the Xenologue Royals working with the Twins and the Wings to kidnapp our Alear and make them their new divine dragon so we have to go to their world to save Alear and then it ends up with Alear restoring their lands and the twins following Alear as a way of thanking them) but in canon, seeing how the Royals (especially Altfred and FellCéline) shows hostility against Rafal and Nel for being Fell dragons and that they seemed to never have got along even between siblings and that the only thing that prevented them from killing each other was Isekai Alear.

So it's possible that it could have happened even if there alive and had Rafal did nothing but we don't have enough data about them. To be fair, it's not like the Four Wings seems to contradict the narrative that they used to behave as when they were alive and lest you would use a Corrupted effective weapon against them, you wouldn't either. All I can say is that Hortensialt and Altfred aside... they were all terrible people and that makes me even more curious as to how Isekai Alear managed to unite all of them, especially considering that Ivy was the servant of their enemy and that she was mistreating Hortensialt, or FellCéline since she wanted to actually fight them.

speaking of xander and corrin relationship, how does xander view corrin? Is corrin important to him? did they view them as another sibling to protect and can't lose and whats to protect? encourages them to grow and help them with their growth.

Volume 3 focuses on Xander and Leo's sibling relationship with Corrin and I think it does a fantastic job.

Hi. Well. This happened. I was working on my fic The Dead and CD&FE pushed its way to the fore and ran away with every brain cell I had. I'm nearing the end of this little love story and thought I would start putting it out there. I plan on starting to post up towards the end of February - but it will once again be a completed fiction.
