What happens if a pokemon is corrupted by a witch? Is that something that can happen? Also where do witches get their powers from?

Voren: There are four main types of corruption;

Becoming a lesser Witch, becoming a Vampire, becoming a Dragon, and becoming a Risen.

Origin Witches get their power from the Origin Giratina, The Gilded Sovereign. They are the most powerful, because they  chose to become Witches of their own free will, and they made a contract directly with The Gilded Sovereign. They are directly beneath the source of power in their little pyramid.

A Witch can create another Witch, but the created one will not be as powerful as the original. A powerful Witch can also create an Alpha Vampire, who will become the leader of a coven of Vampires. Any Witch is able to form a contract and turn someone into a Dragon, and any Witch is able to find a dead body and turn it into a Risen.

Then, there are curses… Someone of a pure enough heart can resist becoming a monster, but they aren’t invulnerable. The Witch can lock their hearts up and cause great suffering… Their personality seems to flip, someone who was sweet and docile becomes abusive and abrasive, those who were cheery become depressed and full of despair… They also become violent at times, but with a combination of Aromatherapy and other techniques, we can lift most curses.

After some research, I’ve discovered that many other regions refer to this phenomenon as Shadow Pokemon, but… More research must be done. It hurts knowing that there are other regions suffering with this problem, but I’m sure I can come up with something to help.

Chandra: Allow me to educate you. Do you understand the concept of effective decision making? When you’re trying to do something of such a large caliber, it’s important to remember that every decision counts, little one.

Pop quiz: When picking a lackey, what age group is best to start with? Elderly will die before they’re of any use, and adults are often strong-willed enough to have developed a sense of right and wrong. Which leaves us with... Children, of course. If mummy dearest raises her most impressionable children with diligence, they become beautiful weapons.

Of course, mummy might make exceptions... Child-minded adults, valorous children, the little outliers and whatnot. Why, even a little pipsqueak like yourself might be a wonderful addition to my army. Having a cute little Mew in my lap would be quite the tactical advantage. Your fur is surprisingly soft, and you even come with your own collar~

While this is all very entertaining, I can't help but be curious, once you have this world and the will of all who live in it, what will you do with it? I'm sure we'd all love to know.~

I suppose the idea of world domination sounds rather typical and boring. Quite so… I plan to reform the world as I see fit. In due time. I seek to ruin those who stand in my way. I want… Everything!

I see the potential he has. Cornered like the vermin he is, hopeless to escape, but unyielding with his efforts… I could make something great of him. But, with Death here to escort him to the afterlife so lovingly, what reason do I have to keep him alive?

I could dash his skull open with a stump. I could burn him away to dust in white-hot flames. I could pierce his heart again and again until every last drop of blood has spilled.

If he’ll be of any worth to me, he must be more than a thorn in their sides. He must be the axe grazing the napes of their necks.

Tsubayuki@Chandra: I do not think I will ever come to understand creatures like you. You say you have unmatched power and a goal that is seen by all as the bad ending of a fairy tale. Yet instead of working towards your end goal, you sit here for an obscene amount of time using your power on others in ways that get you no closer what you desire. And in your case it seems to be for rather petty reasons as well. In the end my question to you is what has been stopping you? Is it to prove something?

Chandra: Tell me, have you ever dealt with an infestation? Vile things ruining something precious to you? Ugly little cockroaches mucking up what’s rightfully yours… What do you do? You may crush the ones you see, but anyone knows that for every one vermin you find, theres thousands more hiding in the crevices… You have to change your strategy, you have to adapt. But as you learn their tactics, they adapt to yours. It becomes a standstill. It becomes a game of chess, if you will, where forethought will win the battle.

Two hundred years ago, Fairies were all but extinct. I had one little mistake, and suddenly they’re back from the brink. All my hard work, undone. I intend to correct that mistake once she stops hiding from me…

This voice is…. Hauntingly nostalgic. It’s familiar, yet… You don’t know this person speaking. It is much clearer than all the others, there is no distortion, there is no echo or unnatural ebb to the flow of the words. It feels like a direct broadcast into your mind. As outlandish as it sounds, you feel the voice emanating from within your soul. You feel power coursing through your veins. You truly feel like yourself once again.
