A closed starter for @enigmatii​‘s Alec!

           With a dramatic Inhale (it’s not a gasp, okay?), Magnus crowds up to the large-pane windows of the sidewalk patisserie. He very nearly presses his face to the glass, groaning, “--- I’m going to eat my weight in chocolate éclairs...”

          It feels like centuries since the Warlock has been in Paris, and even longer since he’s properly enjoyed the cuisine. By Edom, he’s missed it. Turning, Bane reaches out to grasp Alec’s hand, offering him a winning smile as he drags the younger man into the shop. They’re immediately welcomed by the sweet fragrance of powdered sugar and baking dough. 

          “--- Alexander. Have you ever tried a macaron?

starter for @enigmatii​‘s Alec Lightwood

         Standing at the entrance to a sewer pipe (in his suede Ferragamos, no less!), Magnus Bane began to wonder at what point in his life he'd fallen to being at the beck-and-call of Shadowhunter whims. Shadowhunters don't even like Warlocks (let alone Magnus, in particular), so why has he capitulated to sniffing out every trace of greater demon activity that plagues the New York Institute? This is beneath him! 

          ------------ Is what he might have said, had Bane not caught sight of black hair and light eyes arriving in the periphery of his vision. The tall drink of distilled vodka (because no way is Alec so plain as to be compared to water) is a sight for sore eyes, still skittish even after weeks of acquaintanceship with Magnus. The Warlock takes it as a good sign. It means he gets under Alec Lightwood's skin as much as Alec gets under his... 

       "Ah!" Bane says aloud, clapping his hands together and turning towards the Shadowhunter with a pleased smile, "You're here, finally. Now we can get started."

           Hello Friends! I know I’ve been somewhat missing in action on here lately, in that my replies have been spotty (and slow) and I’m spending almost zero time on the actual dash. I’m just really trying to keep my mental health in a positive place, and some days I only have so many spoons to go around. I’m so very sorry for making any of my writing partners wait on me, and for disappearing on you all with little explanation. 

          In following a few other writers’ leads, I’ve made the decision to archive a selection of threads on this blog. This isn’t because I don’t enjoy the stories we have written together, or that I don’t want to continue to write with all of you, it’s just to let me clear my palate a little bit and look towards future threads without the burden of such a backlog hanging over my head. If your thread is on the list and you feel passionately about continuing it, then do please message me! I am more than happy to keep something going if I know it means alot to you!
