Following a tutorial I had to try my hand at some pixel art and wanted to start with my OC, Stargirl Cosma. I wanted to start with a limited four color palette like Gameboy sprites so that's why I went with black and white, Gameboy, and Super Gameboy color schemes.

Stariglrl Cosma as a mermaid. Futuristic space mermaids have apparently developed a means to get around without the need to swim under their own power.

This was actually meant for #MerMay because it was sketched around that time but I had never gotten around to cleaning it up. And my home flooding only slowed things down even more. Now that I have cleaned it up I went with vector lines and that Yoichi Kotabe style shading. I wanted to keep Cosma's retro space theme in the design.
