I read an article that inspired me to draw something that will remind me to practice more self-compassion. I need to be better about forgiving myself when I slack off or procrastinate or just take a day off in general to take care just “do me”. 

If I am on a diet, let myself off the hook if I have a cookie or a brownie once in a while. If I choose to take a nap instead of do the things I set out to do that day. If I choose to watch tv instead of work on drawing or house work.

You will actually be more likely to get back up and keep on going if you aren’t so hard on yourself, so if you don’t do exactly what you set out to do that day, forgive yourself and just tell yourself you’ll get it right tomorrow. Acknowledge that it was a mistake, but be kind to yourself. Let it go and know that you can and will do it tomorrow.

So I got a blueberry tea from teavana today and it inspired me to draw fruit! And the cats are just... I love cats... These are to make up for the last 4 days I've missed of drawvember 😰 Sorry!!! But here you are. Some cats with fruits. And some cats on fruits. And some fruits on cats!

Sorry about the photo of a screen. I had to snap a photo really quick before jumping in bed so hubby can get up at 1am for work. Blehhhh. Also I wanted to get a lot more of this done today, but we had a small emergency with our kitty cat, so we had to run her to the vet 😰 But no worries! She's okay. Just had a bit of a scare. But anywayyyyy, this is day 26 of drawvember: flower beards!! A WIP for you to prove I am actually doing something lol. Enjoy!!

So I finished hockeychu... again... haha. I had saved a file for social media and finished the 72dpi version by accident last time... Sooo here’s round 2!! I learned a lot and what I learned will definitely stick with me now that I’ve done it all twice XD But I think I did a better job with this one anyway, so there’s the silver lining haha.
