Inktober

So it’s September, so it’s a little early to be talking about Inktober... but i’ve started thinking about it so I guess talking might as well happen too.

I know there’s an official prompt list every year for inktober. I never really do those. There’s nothing wrong with them of course, they’re great for generating ideas but I always prefer to go with a series of portraits b/c I like drawing faces so much. In the past years I’ve done inktobers drawing my way through 31 characters of different franchises. 

(2013 was Gregory Horror Show, 2014 was Skulduggery Pleasant (Drawvember @ghostsofwhitehall), 2015 was Babylon 5 (with Drawvember being other people’s OCs... should do that again), 2016 was @threadcaster​, 2017 was @threadcaster​ again, and 2018 was FNAF)

This year I think the franchise I want to pick is pretty obvious... 31 Discworld characters. Unfortunately I still haven’t read all the discworld books... so there’s a lot of characters out there I don’t know yet, and WAY more than 31 already around to include. That’s why I’m asking you, the reader, what characters I absolutely absolutely should not miss. Hit me with a comment with what Discworld character you want to see in Inktober this year. There’s only 31 spots (and a couple are pretty obviously claimed by Rincewind, Granny, Sam, Death, and various other protags) so the competition is stiff. Shout them out!

Starting a maybe webcomic thing possibly one day? So here's a little bit of practice for day 21 of drawvember.

First time using a brush pen in traditional media! It was pretty fun, but certainly challenging! Enjoy a fairy for day 4 of drawvember.

And day 1 of drawvember. I don't know why these didn't post before, but here they are nonetheless. This one is just because I thought it was a really pretty still life. Inspired by the cat skull masks that one person on Etsy makes. (I'll have to find her name and post it here). I think I used too thick of lines to ink the sketch, but overall I enjoy the outcome! 😊

Almost don't want to post this one... Lol. It was super rushed and I was nervous because some of my family was watching. I was just trying to fit in day 5 of drawvember because I got behind. I wasn't home either, so I didn't have my normal supplies. 😰
