it's never rly bothered me that HoT elite specs are the only ones to not have combat chatter (excluding reaper and tempest shouts) but sometimes i'll hear a line that sends me over the edge seething with jealousy foaming at the mouth malding what do u MEAN "time and space are my allies!" is for mirage jaunt and not chrono gravity well or continuum shift. in what world.

A thought for later: If you could dual class in gw2, what would you dual-class? For either RP, lore, shenangians or just ot make the most broken build ever? Maybe taking on the utilities of the second class? It's a nightmare in game design that I don't want to iron out now but shhhhh lets just assume you can dual-class specializations too okay
I would dual class Alex as an Weaver- Warrior, he's proficient in martial forms too.. Perzen would be an Tempest-Chrono mix, just for the additional support.
Faren alt would be a Virtuoso-Thief mix... Just because :D
Ford the doctor would be a Firebrand-Tempest mix probably? Both for his own lore and the extra shouts from Tempest would be great in-game too, I wager.
Bonus: Name the dual-class with a custom name cause why not

Ao3 Link :D
Gasping, Melinoe struggled to rise from the ground, her body shaking with pain from the unexpected attack. Burning through her bones, the sensation threatened to immobilise her. But refusing to give up, determination fueled her actions and with trembling hands she braced herself on her staff.
With a firm voice, she spoke an incantation, whereupon a magic circle formed around her. Blazing flames and a roaring tempest arose from it, emphasising her figure.
Concentrating on her opponent, she got into position and then dashed forwards.
Chronos skilfully deflected her attacks and immediately countered with another strike. And yet the little witch remained undaunted. After all, this was not their first encounter and she had already defeated him before and would do so again and again until he fell.
Another blow struck her and her silken armour shattered into golden dust.
As her eyes met Chronos', who had come to a sudden halt, a faint veil settled over her shoulders in its place, like a shadow creeping across the sun. Seemingly, an intangible presence had taken hold of him in the relentless time.
Confusion pervaded Melinoe's mind like a dense fog, for she saw herself in the reflection of his glow, like a mere echo of past generations. Chronos recognised a resemblance in her. That flicker in his gaze, familiar and yet distant, told her so.
Her heart was overcome with a furtive feeling of trepidation, as if she had discovered something that no one was prepared to understand.
Eventually, Melinoe snapped out of the eternal moment. No matter what was going on - perhaps the effect of a divine blessing - it was giving her an advantage.
Softly and melodically, she whispered another powerful incantation, followed by an elegant gesture. Shimmering magic shaped a bow, its graceful curves reflecting the light of the moon. Then Melinoe drew an arrow that glowed from the brute strength of hunt.
When it was too late, Chronos seemed to awaken from his dreaming, raising his scythe. But as he looked at the ethereal weapon - no, at her entire being - the harshness in his eyes softened. A mixture of emotions flickered across his face - sadness, tenderness… and because of that, anger and rage. Melinoe couldn't help but wonder what had triggered this sudden change in him.
But unwilling to risk another hesitation, she released the arrow and watched as it resounded through the air.
Straight into Chronos' heart, sending the Titan staggering back.
"This stubbornness…", his voice cracked. " How come I never noticed your resemblance to her before?"
Clutching at the arrow, his body faded like radiant stardust even before the magic itself.
Without the slightest chance for Melinoe to question his cryptic words, everything was enveloped in a dazzling golden light - and she found herself making her way back to the Crossroads. As she awoke to familiar surroundings, all that remained was the lingering feeling that this encounter would change the course of interwoven destinies.

Ranking all GW2 Specializations
by 1) Gameplay and 2) Visual
based on over 15k hours of playtime, supported by badly drawn Elite Spec Icons.
Feel free to make your own version and reblog or @ me. I wanna see your reasoning :3
Explanations, sorted by classes, below:
Elementalist
Base Elementalist: Pretty sturdy gameplay. Features both interesting interactions, as well as great utility. Versatile, and visually okay. Attack animations desperately need cleanup.
Weaver: Elegant gameplay. Flows smoothly during combat and offers great utility. Also has nice defensive options available. Requires experience and thinking ahead to pull off. Visuals are okay, and feel like a great fit for the aesthetic without being too overwhelming. Especially love Weave Self.
Tempest: Really cool playstyle. Requires a similar amount of attention as Weaver, but in a different way. Unmatched breadth of utility within elementalist classes. Could even be a contender for top spot at visuals, but Fire Overload visually drags the whole spec down.
Catalyst: This class has no right to exist. It feels like someone said "Elementalist doesnt deal much damage, let's give it some numbers." and then stopped halfway through. There is no utility, no elegance, no cool interactions with the gameplay. The whole class feels restrictive and clunky to use. If you like the hammer cata playstyle, better play Weaver. If you like nice interactions, play Tempest. Jade Orbs dont feel like a mechanic, but a punishment. Visually boring, horrible UI, aweful animations.
Mesmer
Base Mesmer: Elegant gameplay, but lacks flow in certain edge cases. Kinda wish greatsword was more melee, but with range capabilites. Needs some more fun interactions with its own mechanics.
Chronomancer: Essentially Mes Plus, when compared to Base Mesmer. Great gameplay, fun and flowey. Slightly choppy in some millisecond cases, but still amatzing to play. Visually striking, absolutely mindblowing sound design. Continuum Split could use a more impactful visual design, like a giant illusiory asronomy clock that ticks down.
Mirage: The self contained version of Mesmer. Lacks a bit in support options for allies, but offers elegant gameplay if timed correctly. Visuals are adequately unique, sparkly but still not overwhelming. Does not have the visual Boom that Chrono has, but feels just that more natural.
Virtuoso: What if took anything that that means Mesmer and just. Didnt do that. This class feels not like a Mesmer anymore, mechnically speaking. Lacks support options, and is outshined by Mirage when it comes to PvP gameplay. Also I'm so fucking pissed at the daggers floating constantly above my head. Animations are kinda cool, though a bit overwhelming. Fun Fact: I divined the coming of the Virtuoso in some sketches a while before EoD previewed. Though in my head it was a Guardian Spec, shooting small silvery stars with its Virtue skills. AND it had double Daggers.
Necromancer
Base Necromancer: It fills its role as master of death. Even the base version of Necromancer has impactful gameplay, and both okay utility, damage, and support for allies. Lacks elengance at some points, especially in Shroud. Visually okay, could use more explosions.
Reaper: Death Knight, here i come! Reaper offers amazing visual effects, and both impactful and flowey gamplay. Reaper Shroud has just the right oomph to make it feel like the steamroller it is. Even when playing without quickness during shroud, it feels amazing. The slight sluggishness just adds to the experience. Did you know that when you enter Reaper Shroud, the character grows giant feathery wings that explode within the fraction of a second? So fucking beautiful.
Scourge: As the absolute opposite of Reaper, this spec offers exactly what Reaper lacks: impactful gameplay at range. Though Scourge can absolutely hold its own in melee, this version feels like a true death mage. Only issue i have is that it's yellow. Horrible choice.
Harbinger: Why does it exist? Ugh, this thing feels so boring. Harbinger would've been a better fit as an Engineer spec. I don't even care about the utility of those damn potions, they lack uniqueness, aesthetic, even the skill icons look like placeholders. What does it have to offer? Well. It gives quickness. Though you could just use a Chronomancer Relic and play another spec. And why am i a black cloud midfight? hello?
Engineer
Base Engineer: The epitome of improvisation. Toolbelt, weird inventions. Explosions, potions, flamethrower. Engineer feels like Elementalist without the magic. There's amazing interaction between skills, great offensive and defensive options. Engineer feels like a hectic class at times, but with some experience it can just be as chill as any other class. Could use some more striking visuals, but still okay.
Holosmith: What if we take an Engi and give it just a smidge of magic? Holosmith feels like an extension of Engineer that pushes it into a slightly different direction. It's just as versatile as the base version, but has even better options for agressive gameplay. Playing a Holo feels elegant and has just the right amount of sparkle and whoom. Still has good interactions with other players, but can easily hold its own. 10/10 design.
Scrapper: Essentially the opposite of Holosmith. What if Engi, but even LESS magic? Though Scrapper can feel a bit sluggish at times, it still has a nice gameplay. Same issue as Base Engi though, it needs more sparkles.
Mechanist: Why put training wheels on something that already has so many levels of gameplay? Mechanist feels like the worst option in any situation. The only saving grace may be the alacrity (which is applied in the most horrifyingly braindead way possible). There's no visual connection between Base Engi and Mechanist, neither in color nor in shape. Why is the mech so that? The gameplay would feel more fluent if you just kidnapped a new player from Queensdale and gave them a gun. Would also be easier to handle than that damn mech.
Thief
Base Thief: There's elegance here, but it's quiet. The visuals underline the subtle beauty of this class. Even a base Thief offers nice utility and okay interactions with other players. The only reason i placed it that low is because how stealth works. A better idea would be to replace it with something like Blur, maybe granting a 50% chance to automatically evade an attack and avoiding being directly targetable in competitive modes.
Daredevil: This is the oomph Thief needed. it feels like it hits hard, but with deadly accuracy. You lose a bit of stealth capabilities, which is a plus in my opinion. Essentially, this is what a monk class in other games would be. It doesn't even need much utility by itself, base Thief already has a bunch. Only issue i have is that i would love it actually using fists to fight, preferably in addition to a staff. Maybe could leave weapons unequipped to swap to an unarmed fighting style? Fun though, great design.
Deadeye: The absolute opposite of Daredevil. This sharpshooter class prefers intelligent positioning rather than quick reactions. It offers great damage and okay support capabilites. Visual effects appear perfect for this class, though the sound design is only okay. Definetely needs a better interface for displaying Malice stacks. And maybe remove the casting time of Deadeye's Mark?
Specter: What if Necromancer, but. Not. Playing Specter feels like playing Core Necro, but with more teleports. Wells are, well. They exist, but only barely. Visual effects are underwhelming, the while class lacks the feeling of impact or elegance that even a base Thief has.
Ranger
Base Ranger: I can see how people like playing ranger, but only through a vaseline treated camera lens. The class itself has okay utility, but lacks in interaction with other players. Though a Ranger's defining feature is the pet, it's also its biggest flaw...
Soulbeast: ... which Soulbeast 100% solves. I will continue to ignore Base Ranger and just pretend that Soulbeast is what Ranger was always supposed to be like. Soulbeasts have the option to just. Not do the whole minion managing thing. Stances feel elegant and unique, and bring fresh air to a moldy base class. Really cool visual effects, though i wish i could turn off the green swirlies while merged.
Druid: I was in Druid Jail for most of my raiding days, so i know what i'm talking about when i say "Urgh." The base mechanic of a Druid is the Astral Avatar, which by itself is probably the best thing Ranger has to offer. It's pretty, it has boom, it's actually useful and elegant. The issue here is swapping in and out of it, which feels clunky and more of a hassle that a reward. To heal with the Avatar, you need people to take damage, so you can heal them, which fills the Avatar, which allows you to. heal. them? Better solution would be to make it similar to Firebrand Tomes so that it still needs energy to use skills, but allows you to spread out your healing a bit.
Untamed: What if Soulbeast, but. Thief. Well, the result is a clunky mess that looks like a swampy lump of bonk. Probably makes a wet smoph when it his a wall. There is no way for me to enjoy this class. The supposed flow of a good Untamed rotation is completely unknown to me, simply because it's so damn ugly. Play Soulbeast.
Warrior
Base Warrior: Hello, yes, it's the bonk class. Love it, have it, it still bonks. What looks like a braindead brick only people with a real life play, is actually an ornate pattern of golden filligree. A base Warrior offers elegant and flowy gameplay at a minumum of effort, and can with some experience still weave itself through the flow of battle. Wish it had more fun interactions with allies, aside from Shout skills. Could go great with Wells.
Berserker: Warrior, but with more bonk. There's exactly two issues i have with this spec. One, its visual effects feel lopsided. Needs more boom toward the target, and less burning man on myself. Two, it lacks utility. However, any rotation that's done on Berserker flows perfectly, it feels fast paced and has absolutely perfect sound design. Executing a perfect Axe/Axe feels like playing a rythm game in the way it bonks.
Spellbreaker: Less bonk, more tshink. Spellbreaker feels like someone took the best about a Thief and put it on a Warrior. The playstyle between Daggers and Full Counter feels elegant and smooth, but requires good reaction. Spellbreaker shines versus players rather than against monsters, which is probably the only issue i have with this spec. Beautiful shiny glitter sparkle capacity though.
Bladesworn: Okay, it says on the tin that it contains Flow, but no. Bladesworn trades movement for maximum bonk. Could use more elegance in its skills, but it makes up for it with great bursts, so much that you can almost feel pixels being cut. The absolute worst about this spec, and the reason why it's not in the legendary tier for me, is that damn Gunsaber. It either needs to be broader for more bonk (with a powerful downward strike as Dragon Trigger), or about 50% longer for ultimate tshink (with a ligering silver sparkly line where the blade sliced your pixels), you know what i mean? As is, the class feels like the definition of blue balls.
Guardian
Base Guardian: The first time I solo'd Twilight Arbor's Aetherblade Path was on a base guardian, some time before HoT. I used a mace and a shield and just slowly pummeled my foes to death. Base Guardian has the feeling of a true paladin class, with just the right amount of sparkle and utility. Only reason it's not way higher on my tier list is that it cant do much on its own.
Dragonhunter: Such a beatifully executed class! There are aesthetic parts that make Dragonhunter feel like a holy warrior, but without the support capabilites of a true paladin class. That's a good thing, by the way. Its playstyle feels unique, at most comparable to a Warrior, but just barely so. Dragonhunter has some small group support, but shines with utility and bonk. If it wasnt for the Traps' visual effects, i wouldnt even care for those (excep Dragon's Maw, like wow). The whole class is perfect. Would've been higher on the list if the rotations felt just a bit smoother.
Firebrand: This one is a more support oriented Guardian. It overflows with utility and support skills. Factually speaking one of my favorite classes. Speaking from a balancing standpoint, it can do way too much at once with its Tome skills. There's elegance in this class, mostly due to it being filled with skills to the point it overflows. Visually, amazing work, same goes for the sound design.
Willbender: A movement based version of Guardian. Willbender feels like it tries to be a monk class, but somehow misses still. There's something lacking from the whole design. You could probably slap this spec onto any other class and it would still work. Together with base Guardian skills, it's fun to play though. Still a balancing horror, for the same reason as Firebrand: It can do way too much for a single class. Aesthetically i find it absolutely revolting. I get that the Virtues are supposed to be movement skills, but they feel choppy to use and leave red-blue scorch marks on the ground. These weird trails look like an accident and are outshined by most other base Guardian skills. All over, a meh rating.
Revenant
Base Revenant: I am regularly confused when i see this spec's icon. There is absolutely no reason to play a base Revenant. There's not much reason for me to play Rev anyway, but hey. What i love about it are the Legends. What i hate about it. also Legends. There's utility and versatility, but both are locked behind Legends, which makes the whole class feel rigid and choppy. I am a fan of the energy mechanic though, and the visuals are also kinda pretty. Could use more sparkles though, maybe more in the Necromancer direction.
Herald: Since Rev came out with HoT, it released with its elite spec from the start. And to this day, Herald is the actual Base Rev to me. It sparkes, it bonks. It feels fine to play, not under- or overwhelmingly so, but just. pretty okay.
Renegade: This one feels like a base Rev (not Herald, in this case). It had the advantage of using a shortbow when it released, but since SotO it lost its usefulness to me somewhat. The Renegade Legend's skills are fun; somehow like Well skills, but visually more striking. The rest of the spec is only meh.
Vindicator: Another one with more bonk! Equip a Stamina Sigil and go stomping! Vindicator feels fun to play, has nice visual effects and great sound design. Similar to Reaper, you can really feel the bonk. Absolutely hate the double Legend thing though, it feels choppy and sluggish to use, similar to playing Elementalist while affected by Chill. I would love Vindicator on another class, like Warrior for example. But since it's a Rev. It's a No.
Conclusion, Expansion based:
EoD specs generally feel the worst of the bunch. booooring. There's no EoD spec in the game that i can really enjoy playing.
HoT specs feel bonky, but slower. On par actually with the whole maguuma jungle (except Pocket Raptors. wtf was anet thinking there)
PoF specs feel less bonk, but more elegant. Also matches the Crystal Desert (except Hydras. THOSE feel more HoT than PoF)
Elementalist is my favorite overall, followed by Mesmer, Engineer, Guardian and Necromancer in that order. Revenant and Ranger can dissolve into brown slidge for all that i care.

Oh AUs you say??? Tell me more
I HAVE BEEN ENABLED! :D
Okay okay, So if you didn't know I've got a Links Meet AU that I'm working on in the background called Exodus, Its a space themed Links Meet AU where the Skyloft is invaded and Sky (Sksw link) Has to travel across space to gather likeminded people to help him take back his planet basically.
I am very excited about it and want to talk about it more and get more people into it because it's everything I love. Space, Cool weapons, Zelda. Like just going through my notes and stuff makes me so excited.
I've got various things already made including a prologue for the main story where Sky is escaping from the D3 organisation (Led by Lord Demise.)
I've got locations, family dynamics, and a space station which I think will be the next thing I reveal and the more I work on it the more I wish I could draw with my pc because I'd love to make a comic with this but writing it is so much fun too. I've got so much planned. Space ships because space travel is cool and everything.
I've taken everything about the Zelda universe I love and thrown it into a blender with my fave things about space and sci-fi to make something that makes me excited to work and write about it.
As these links are my versions of the mainline game links it makes me so excited. I just want to scream about my boys and show them off because i love them so much and I'm so proud already of what I've got and am so excited to show more.
I've got files made for Sky /[Crimson breath of the celestial sphere] (Sksw link), Chronos (OOT/MM Link) and Skipper (HW Link). With the rest of my characters named as follows
Fen (BOTW/TOTK)
Smithy (FS/MC)
Twilight (TP Link)
Saga (LA/OOA/LTTP/OOS)
Sprite (LOZ1/LOZ2)
Tempest (WW/PH)
Crimson wave of the great expanse (The First hero)
I've taken bits from each characters game and changed them to fit in the universe. I think my favourite so far is Sky's story. He's fought the D3 organisation and won before but lost a huge part of himself in the process. Which he's had made for him. Fi is an artificial intelligence that Sky has embedded in his head as a part of this transplant.
Skyloftians have natural Wings, and so when he fought demise the first time he had his wings ripped from him. A story which I plan to work my way to at one point after I've got the main AU story off the ground with chapter 1 which is in progress rn!
I'd love to go into more detail id love to ramble about it all day. If you want me to I can! :D
I just want to hype about my bois but I know people dont follow Zelda for the space aspect haha. So I try to keep my excitement on the down low for the most part
Thank you for letting me hype about my bois
If you wanna look at it? Exodus-AU

Hello, is there any way I can have a link to the start of your series? I’m new here and just happened to bump into the last comic with the baby mewtwo, Odd(?), and the Gallade and I really wanna know more about them!
(Also please tell me that Gallade didn’t die-)
This should give you all the comics I've made in order -> https://oddestoddish.tumblr.com/tagged/pokemon%20comic/chrono
Until very recently I haven't had a set story in mind, so it may be a bit all over the place ^^;;
As for Tempest, we'll just have to wait and see ^_^

The TR1-03 weapons stash
Tumblr media
Tr1-03 weapons for the Links of my AU, Some of the Link's have multiple weapons some (Link Chronos and Skipper) have just one which shifts between forms.
A few weapons here are TR1-03 powered, but have most of their form, (IE Sky and Fen's bows)
There are three magic users in the group. Smithy, Saga and Sprite are all magic users. And have weapons to indicate this fact.
I'll go into more detail individually (This includes the weapon names), as I'm going to make pages for each link's weapons and abilities. However, I wanted to give an overview of the weapons that they will be using across the AU.
I can go from left to right, or if you'd rather, we can do a poll for who we'd like to do first.
Let me know!

I was tagged by @radellama like a month ago! Even if I don't always keep up with these I still appreciate it <3
~
Why did you choose your URL?
It's a combination of a couple of old jokes I had from middle school, the older of which was actually kind of a mean thing that I won't get into. However, KanoNavi was the second iteration of my old url FritoNavi, and because it rolled off the tongue better I decided to just switch to that full time.
2. Any sideblogs? If so, name them and why you have them.
I've tried sideblogs a couple times in the past, but they never stuck. I prefer to keep everything in one place, even if it means bombarding my non-Genshin mutuals with Genshin all the time (Sorry guys, thanks for sticking with me lol <3)
3. How long have you been on tumblr?
My archive goes back to 2017, but I did change URLs once so I think I might have started in 2016? Sometime around there.
4. Do you have a queue tag?
Nope, I've only used the queue once or twice for particular timed posts.
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
Before tumblr, I was on DeviantArt to follow Splatoon fanartists, and some of them mentioned having Tumblr so I decided to join that too!
6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?
Venti's been my personality for like 3 years now, and this is one of my favorite fanarts of him (I love his smile, he's so delightful <3)
7. Why did you choose your header?
It was a piece done by my good friend and roommate Ham! Their artstyle is like candy for the eyes, I just want to eat it I love it so much ehe (Please go check them out along with the artist who drew my pfp, both of them are linked in my bio!)
8. What's your post with the most notes?
My meta on Simulanka Day 3 actually passed 100 notes (it has 124 as of this posting), which is absolutely crazy. I'm planning to do kind of a follow-up to that once I work up the spoons because there was some contention in my replies and also Natlan acts 1 and 2 have given me some ideas, so look forward to that I guess lol
9. How many mutuals do you have?
I don't really keep track, but I think that not counting irls I have at least 10? (love you guys mwah mwah <3)
10. How many followers do you have!
105 (i love you guys too mwah)
11. How many people do you follow?
129
12. Have you ever made a shitpost?
Sometimes I've commented about life in a jokey manner, but nothing I would consider a serious shitposting attempt
13. How often do you use tumblr each day?
This thang is like the refrigerator to me (derogatory). Cumulatively tho it's probably only a little over an hour per day because my dash isn't the most active.
14. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once?
Not that I can recall?? Maybe early on, but it's been too long for me to say.
15. How do you feel about "you need to reblog this" posts?
No.
16. Do you like tag games!
Yeah!
17. Do you like ask games!
Yeah, even though I always feel like I'm being attention-seeking when I reblog them :pensive emoji:
18. Which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?
None of them, sorry guys. I know Rads probably has clout in the Chrono Trigger fandom though, so that has to count for something?? lmao
19. Do you have a crush on a mutual?
Nah, but I have platonic crushes on y'all for being so damn cool <3

End of the year questions!
Tagged by @aphroditestummyrolls. Thank you, my friend! <3
Tagging @guarncre @spacegirlsgang @andrea-lyn @ladytessa74, and everyone!
What is your favourite thing you created?
I've talked about it more than enough, but probably my big baby, Axis. Jericho, My Moon is a favourite too, for its whimsy and dream-like quality and gothic romance. I want to write more things like that.
Which work are you proudest of?
Definitely Axis. It's just under 30 thousand words, and took me a year while I was working through a ton of grief, stress, an identity crisis (ongoing to this day lol), and just generally losing touch with reality. I think it's one of the most raw and beautiful things I've written, though I'm def overselling it. I'm also happy with the section break illustrations I made for it!
Is there anything you are proud of that you achieved this year?
Mostly my university achievements. I won 3 awards/bursaries this year due to my hard work! Got a work/study position at a small feminist library in my faculty, made some classroom friends, and have been enjoying helping students when they come to me. I guess I'm also proud of myself for... maybe.. perhaps... coming to the point where I can no longer deny that I'm trans. It's been a lot. It's shaken the very ground from under me. But at this point I don't think it can be denied anymore. It's time to be brave.
Did you explore anything new this year? (A new way to be creative, a trope you didn’t write before, or an idea you hadn’t thought of earlier, etc.)
I guess gothic romance is a new thing for my writing. I'm kind of a romance hater tbh, so I usually just background the relationships or struggle with forefronting them, but I'm becoming more of a fan of the weird and macabre kind of romance. Also not necessarily new, but I almost never write modern aus and I completed one this year: tempests of dust. I guess you could say my canon-divergent t4t au, Wolf Tooth, is new too!
Which work gave you the most difficulty?
Besides the aforementioned 30k fic, probably finishing misplaced items of great (in)convenience. I let that one sit for a while, which I guess kind of lines up with the themes of the fic lol. Burnout is real.
What was your biggest creative challenge this year?
Drawing ;_; At all. Perfectionism and self-scrutiny stop me before I can begin. That, and I have a lot of WIPs I started in 2023 that are supposed to be pretty big.
Which work brought you the most joy?
Hounds! I wrote that 8k bitch in nearly one sitting because I was so fired up.
Which of your works do you think people should check out?
Not all from 2023, but perhaps some of my less read ones. Obviously I want people to read the long ones about grief and liminal space and adventures that I worked so hard on, but I know most people don't have the energy or desire to sit down and read a lot of plot.
I'd recommend an Andy-focused one from my mystery series, Chronos, and Primavera, my little Nico 3000-headcanons-stuffed-into-a-trenchcoat backstory. My time loop fic, la mer a bercé mon coeur pour la vie, is also a fun little Andy-centric team adventure. My queer ass is also very fond of Eight Minutes. Lastly, one of my Booker fics, all things pass into the night.
I should say that not all of my fics are available for people without ao3 accounts.
Do you have creative plans for next year? Is there anything exciting you’re currently working on?
Oh gosh, I want to be so productive in 2024. I really hope I can be! I have plans for another queer quartet adventure with mystery elements that will hopefully be longer and more adventurous than the works in the Tetrad Mysteries. I miss it when that was my specialty! I also am working on a big canon-divergent au in which Joe and Nicky were childhood friends (and still end up killing each other). That fic mostly takes place during their adolescence and young adult years, so I'm sort of stuck on how to end it since I'm worried it'll be a disappointing read for people if it ends in Jerusalem. But we already know the rest of their story, more or less. I've put it on hold for a while due to sensitive subject matter that I feel is just inappropriate for the world right now.
Those are the two big projects, but I'm also hoping to do some collaborations, maybe open up commissions (we'll see how busy I am in the summer!), and have some smaller works in progress.
Lastly, any words of wisdom or anything else you would like to share?
We are not defined by our productivity. The process is always happening and we are always changing and learning, even if we're not actively "creating."

what was your first muse?
did you ever play a muse for more than a year?
My first muse was super cringe because I was barely 10 or 11, but it was a creature(?) from Sonic named Chronos that was a cyborg. Imagining it literally made me cringe a bit upon remembering myself reenacting fake scenes in my living room.
~~~~~~~
Yes! A bit of a fun fact, but the Tempest reality has existed for over four years now! And while I haven't used muses for all four years, some characters such as One, Four, and Ten have been used consistently over at least two years, with Four existing since day one, although back then he was just Dr. Lycan.
Side note it is absolutely insane that it's going to be five years and since then these characters have developed so much and the cast has grown into the 600s. That's crazy and I'm thankful you guys have been sticking around for this long.
18 juin
je lui ai écrit, tant pis, j’en pouvais plus. j’ai voulu sortir me promener pour me changer les idées mais ça s’est révélé encore pire que de rester allongée sur le lit à regarder les arbres dehors. je rayonnais de l’énergie négative à des kilomètres à la ronde et j’avais envie de faire des doigts d’honneur à tout le monde. je suis en train de considérer l’éventualité qu’il me réponde pas et je sais pas comment réparer mon coeur, j’ai peur qu’il soit plus réparable, il a été cassé trop de fois, ça fait de trop petits morceaux maintenant. en arrivant devant le palais de justice je me suis dit et si je protégeais ce qu’il en restait et que je tombe plus amoureuse de personne? je sais pas pourquoi ça me semblait une idée envisageable sur le coup parce qu’évidemment que j’en serais totalement incapable, mon coeur est un tas de miettes mais ça l’empêche pas de carburer à plein régime, c’est une usine à aimer impossible à arrêter. j’essayais de me sentir réconfortée par les immenses colonnes au dessus de moi mais bof, j’avais surtout envie de monter sur la rambarde en pierre pour sauter tout en bas des marolles et arrêter la souffrance. j’écoutais kae tempest, prête à me faire écraser par une voiture en traversant la route/me faire agresser par un des types drogués qui trainaient derrière le palais de justice. j’ai acheté des perles moches à 1,40 euros pour me faire un chapelet-souvenir à accrocher à ma banane pour me rappeler, je sais pas, que je suis quelqu’un de fantastique et que j’arrête de me dévaloriser quand je rencontre des gens? mais ça me sert à quoi d’être fantastique si personne veut partager ma fantasticité avec moi?
sur la place où je mange des frites avec m. d’habitude je suis rentrée dans une église en espérant y grappiller un peu de réconfort et je suis tombée sur une messe en polonais. je crois que c’était du polonais. les gens se signaient tous en rentrant, puis la plupart se mettaient à genoux par terre, se signaient une deuxième fois, et allaient rejoindre les bancs. j’étais fascinée qu’autant de gens aussi divers, aussi variés en âge, aussi variés en tout, croient tous en ce même dieu, et qu’ils se plient tous à la même règle: se signer, se mettre à genoux par terre, se taire. je me suis appuyée contre le mur du fond et je suis restée une bonne demie heure à regarder les gens entrer, les touristes se faire recaler, le prêtre parler en polonais, j’imagine, une femme qui chantait, je restais parce qu’au moins impossible de checker mon téléphone, trop irrespectueux. quand la femme chantait je fermais les yeux et j’essayais de me laisser prendre au truc, mais ça marchait qu’à moitié. alors j’ai essayé de ressentir l’amour inconditionnel de jésus sensé me réconforter du non amour de mes semblables, mais bof ça marchait pas non plus. alors j’ai changé au dieu de whitehead, l’amour de l’univers qui devrait nous relier tous, puis au dieu du changement d’octavia butler, mais ça marchait pas du tout, qu’est-ce que j’en ai à faire de l’univers qui m’aime si r. qui fait partie de l’univers ne m’aime pas? god is change encore ça va parce qu’en gros ça dit this too shall pass, mais en attendant c’est la merde.
je viens d’entendre des rires et un bouchon de champagne sauter quelque part, j’arrive pas à croire qu’il y a des gens dehors qui mènent une vie légère et joyeuse, entourés de leurs amis. comme tous ces gens insupportables assis en terrasse que j’ai croisés sur mon chemin en remontant de la place flagey hier soir. en plus je venais de passer une soirée légère et joyeuse moi aussi, mais on m’a accordé cinq heures chrono en main, puis c’était le retour au drame. j’ai essayé de monter sur la lune comme cléo dans mon scénario, pour voir les choses avec du recul, mais même sur la lune j’entends chanter les anneaux de saturne qui m’attirent avec eux dans la mélancolie. elle est inéluctable.
19 juin
j’arrive pas à pleurer, ça m’énerve. j’en ai envie mais rien ne sort. j’ai l’impression que ça m’aiderait à évacuer ce gros bloc que j’ai dans le ventre qui alourdit le moindre de mes mouvements, tout est lourd, même quand je parle ça s’entend. je sais pas quoi faire, ça ressemble à la dépression mais une dépression que je connais pas, une dépression aigüe, avec une cause précise. c’est des émotions très primaires, c’est pur, c’est pas murky comme la dépression latente. j’espère qu’elle sera passagère et s’arrêtera jeudi matin, quand j’arriverai à berlin. ce voyage tombe comme une grâce des dieux. je me suis levée à 7h44 pour faire une machine, la vaisselle et mes bagages parce que je deviens folle à rester allongée sur ce lit mais je dois attendre la fin de la machine puis la fin du séchoir pour partir et ça me semble insurmontable. peut être que je devrais passer chez schleiper pour acheter un nouveau journal avant de partir. j’avais décidé d’arrêter un peu parce que j’avais l’impression que mon écriture compulsive avait participé au montage en épingle de cette histoire, que si j’avais pas autant écrit dessus, ça aurait pris moins de place et je serais tombée de moins haut. mais en même temps tout est là, dans ma tête, que je l’écrive ou non, et si je l’écrivais pas j’ai l’impression que je deviendrais encore plus folle.
non mais quand même, c’est incroyable la cruauté de la vie, je viens de penser à un moment de notre promenade où je lui ai parlé de mon journal et ç’a activé une douleur dans mon ventre alors j’ai vite essayé de la refouler et de l’oublier, pour une fois que je passais une bonne soirée, pas seule, avec un garçon gentil, doux et drôle et qu’on avait plein de choses à se dire, je dois l’effacer de ma mémoire à jamais sous peine de mourir de chagrin. unbelievable. il va y en avoir beaucoup des unbelievable encore cette année ou ça va se calmer? mais peut être que c’est ça la vie? par rapport à la non vie dans le trou je veux dire. je sais pas. je sens la douleur dans tout mon corps. c’est même pas une douleur, c’est plutôt une substance fantomatique qui me traverse et qui me donne envie de m’évaporer, de m’écrouler sur moi-même comme une étoile en fin de vie et de disparaître, mélangé à une légère envie de vomir. ce matin en me réveillant je pensais à marissa de newport beach quand elle jette la chaise longue dans la piscine en hurlant de rage. j’avais envie de faire pareil. je me sentais comme le singe qui souffre tellement de sa solitude affective qu’il devient violent et qu’il déchire des pneus de camion dans le livre d’éric chevillard que je lisais au wc tout à l’heure. ça m’a fait penser à violette leduc qui s’en prenait aux meubles de son appartement. j’ai considéré l’idée de jeter mon téléphone par la fenêtre hier soir mais comment je fais pour partir à berlin sans mon téléphone? pendant que j’étais allongée sur le lit à regarder le plafond en essayant de pleurer j’ai commencé à composer un nouveau couplet pour ma deuxième chanson dédiée à rebeka w. je pensais qu’il voulait me draguer mais il voulait juste faire le tour du quartier. j’ai envie de la poster sur ig et qu’on en rigole et que j’arrive à me remettre de mon envie de me blottir dans ses bras et de l’embrasser avec fougue le plus vite possible.
