🌟 What's a scene or line you wrote that still makes you smile when you reread it?

The first kiss in Accountant's Guide! I have read it a gazillion times and it never fails to put the derpiest smile on my face.

Hands trembling at her sides, she took another step toward him and whispered, “What’s one more secret then?” It did not come out the way she had hoped. Her voice shook, way too nervous to be sexy. And yet, the words seemed to cut some invisible piece of string holding them apart, because all of a sudden Astarion reached for the back of her head and she rose onto her tippy toes, meeting him halfway, and then their lips crushed into each other. It was rough and impatient, a literal bang of a kiss. Teeth clinking together, his fangs nicking her bottom lip by accident. Astarion took a shuddering breath and froze for a moment, steeling himself against the taste of her blood. Then he wiped it off with his thumb and dove back in, no less passionately than before, but with slightly more control. Their lips melded together as if they were made for each other and it was all Scarlett could do not to swoon right then and there.

✍️ What's something you've improved on in your writing journey?

Resilience. Sticking with a project that attracts fewer and fewer readers because I love it and I want to see it completed. Not to say that there aren't points where it's genuinely healthier to call it quits and move on, but I think it was an important lesson for me to trust in myself, regardless of how a work is perceived by the public.

Celery & Taxes, part 2 of my Mafia!Astarion series (although it can totally be read on its own!)

I'm listing this one in particular because this was my first fic that attracted hate -- specifically from people who had very specific ideas how the fic should be tagged. When I was unwilling to comply with their exact demands (and I do mean exact; not even the slightest difference in opinion would be tolerated), they quickly devolved into personal insults, name-calling and even bullying. All in the name of "internet etiquette" and "protecting people online", ironically. The harassment has continued even weeks later, which is why my anon asks are still turned off.

All of this will likely seem incredibly silly when you read the fic because it's exactly what you'd expect from a Cinnamontails story: It's a sweet, smutty one-shot featuring a good bit of character exploration, nerdy jokes, and yes, also celery. There's nothing heavier in it than any of my other fics and all possible concerns have been addressed in the tags and CW (albeit in my own words because that is my right as a writer and I will not be blackmailed). Seriously, part of me is still baffled how a smut fic featuring celery in the title could cause this much drama :D

Anyway, I've made my peace with it and I know my one-shots are never particularly popular, but would be super grateful to see people just have fun with the story, the way it was intended. Here's the link if you want to show it some love: Celery & Taxes.
