(Cipherverse update -
Due to brainstorming between nxtwhatheseems and I for the fanfic I’m making for this verse, I’m changing cipherverse a bit so that they fit in with each other. Long story short, at one point early on in Pine Tree’s life Bill needed a way to keep him alive, and the only thing he could think of before he died was feeding him a lesser demon. That had consequences and so basically the kid’s half demon now (and believes he is and always has been full demon).)

Pine Tree peeked through the trees as he stared at the Mystery Shack nervously. Bill wanted him to infiltrate the area, fit in amongst the family living there. Apparently they had something he wanted. Stanley Pines had taken the first journal, a book an old friend of Bill’s had written that, if discovered, could very likely lead to the collapse of his goal to simply exist peacefully in this universe.
Pine Tree just couldn’t understand why some people would try and stop things like that. His dad had told him time and time again in dreams - the only way he could communicate with him - about the great things he would bring to this world if only he could enter it permanently. Pine Tree would often lend his adopted father his body, but that wasn’t the same. He barely had any of his powers that way, and he couldn’t do anything big.
That was why the boy was currently hiding out, preparing himself to enter the building in front of him. He had never done anything like this before and wasn’t even sure if he could pull it off. Bill had told him he simply needed to pose as Dipper Pines, the girl who was visiting there for the summer’s twin brother, who had disappeared when he was an infant. She had never met said brother before, so he wouldn’t even need to try and change his personality. Just don’t mention Bill or his actual life, and if anyone asks about what happened to him, make something up. It would be easy.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward.
