8 years ago today we attended our first concert ever, Taylor Swift’s Speak Now World Tour 2011 in Cleveland, OH.

We had just graduated high school and the tickets were a gift from our parents for Christmas. We had been fans of Taylor’s since 2006, and were not able to attend the Fearless Tour, so needless to say, we were estatatic that we were finally going to see Taylor live.

We made puffy paint shirts since we weren’t sure we were allowed to bring signs into the Q. Hunter Hayes and Needtobreathe opened for Taylor. We were going nuts when the lights went down and the music started. Once Taylor rose out of the stage we both lost it and started crying. We have been fans of Taylor since 2006. Her music got us through the good times and the bad times.

The concert was absolutely amazing. It was the best first concert ever! Fun fact, we still have the concert DVD and live album, along with the guitar pick it came with! We can’t thank Taylor enough for being such a big part of our lives and for making music that reaches to everyone.

We cannot wait for Lover and will be first in line when the tour is announced! Thank you for being the best first concert ever, Taylor!
