Do fire forest Clexa and their pups celebrate Christmas?
Holidays was at Triku that year. The wooden lodge was a quieter affair compared to the teasel explosion that had become The Ark Clan’s pack home.
Lexa didn’t have to argue much for a simpler, intimate celebration with just the four of them.
The kids had their noses white with milk as they ran around the small, sparkling tree. Their girl was fast, loud, and brilliant, just like her shining red coat. Larger than her brother, she used her size to tease him endlessly. But that was barely an advantage; the younger of the twins was silent and precise, tricking his sister into taking the blame in most of their shenanigans. But Lexa caught up to it early, being the source of the sagaciousness of the kid, and his reign as the innocent younger child was short-lived.
Clarke, however, was soft-hearted for the young boy.
“You gave them another hot cocoa, didn’t you?” Lexa’s voice lacked the strain of a reprimand, but Clarke flinched nonetheless.
“He said they hadn’t had it yet.”
“They had whipped cream on their noses,” Lexa said, sitting on her mate’s lap on the couch by the fireplace. The kids continued their sugar-fueled loops around the tree. Their tails wiggled high in the air, their sharp canines reflected in the silver and golden baubles. Clarke laughed, planting a kiss on the warm spot under Lexa’s chin, peeking from her scarf. “You’re too soft on them,” Lexa said, joining her mate while watching their kids. Their gas slowed down, and the pups tripped and remained on the floor in a heap of gray and red. Their giggles slowed, and their breaths eased as they dove into slumber.
“It worked out,” Clarke said, reaching for another kiss. Lexa’s skin prickled under her lips.
“You celebrate as if they won’t wake up at 3am demanding presents.”
“It means we have six hours to do whatever we want.” Another kiss, wet and lingering.
“Six?” Lexa challenged, one eyebrow up. Clarke cleared her throat.
“There’s foreplay,” Clarke argued, heat rising to her cheeks.
“Do you want hot cocoa for a sugar rush?” Lexa teased, earning a light bite on her shoulder. She clamped her mouth, so her surprised laughter wouldn’t wake up the pups.
“I want a different sweetness,” Clarke whispered under a small ear. Biting her lips, Lexa stood up, offering her hand to her mate.
“Six hours and counting,” she whispered, and ran to the stairs on silent feet. Clarke licked her lips and followed.

Hi! Welcome to my many Clexa universes.

I tend to write continuations or back-stories of past fics so -though you can often find them linked/mention on each other's notes or a part of the same series- I've color coded them in each list.

Hi! I loved your little Canon Clexa ficlet post proposal bowing scene. I'm getting you try to fit scenes between the canon events (?) Not really changing canon (?) If so i love it! If not i would love to know what you would change
Regardless, I would love to see what you come up with for them and 19. You think you’re funny, don’t you?
Hey there! Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. You're right, I do always try to fit these little "scenes" within canon, though with Clexa especially it's really challenging as they gave us so little. Most prompts refer to couple situations, while they never got the chance to (really) become one, and since they had no future, it's hard to fantasize about that too (within canon). So far I (think I) managed to squeeze all 5 of them in though. Let's see how number 6 works out...
You Think You're Funny, Don't You? - Clarke & Lexa
Lexa was about to exit the arena when she spotted Clarke pacing back and forth at the gate. She looked agitated, not at all like Lexa was feeling right now - pumped up by the adrenaline of the fight, the victory, the cheers and jeers of the crowd.
"Lighten up," Lexa grinned, walking up to her, "The wicked witch of the north is dead." She slaps her hands together, despite the deep cut in her palm. "Problem solved."
"You just killed someone without blinking!" Clarke cried out in response, "And you almost got slaughtered yourself! Yet you're walking around here like you... like you..."
When Clarke kept searching for words, Lexa shrugged. "Like I just took out the trash?!"
Clarke narrowed her eyes at her. "You think you're funny, don't you?"
Cocking her head a little, her index finger now at her chin, Lexa playfully gave the rhetorical question some thought. "Well yes, I reckon I am. When I joke, people laugh. Now of course they might just fear for their lives..." As if in shock, her eyes suddenly widened. "Wait, you don't think I am?! Ouch!"
"Urgh!" With the deepest groan, Clarke spun away from her, about to walk away from this hopeless conversation. Yet, to Lexa's surprise, she almost as swiftly turned back, not giving up that easily after all. She even took a firm extra step forward, a frustrated attempt to get through to The Stubborn Commander, so they ended up almost nose to nose.
"They can still harm you, you know," she spat, capturing Lexa's eyes with hers. "You, us, the entire coalition!"
"Oh, I know they can," Lexa nodded in agreement, not backing away even an inch. "But they won't. Why do you think I spared Roan's life? Not for his pretty eyes, I can tell you that."
This time Clarke stayed quiet.
"I own him now. And Azgeda with it," Lexa went on. "The coalition is safe. And so are you, and your people."
"You don't know that," Clarke grumbled through her teeth.
Lexa shook her head, slowly, that small smirk still lingering on her lips. "You keep underestimating me, Clarke. And the power of a good show. Politics is entertainment, even the Roman emperors knew that."
"Entertainment?" Dropping her shoulders, Clarke released a soft sigh, before finally taking a step back again, and then another one - as if in the sudden need to distance herself from Lexa, and maybe not just physically? "Watching you almost die was supposed to be entertainment?!"
"You heard them chant, didn't you?" Lexa shrugged again. But Clarke didn't catch that, she was already walking away from her. "You will see," Lexa called after her, "By tonight, all peace is restored!"
"And I'm sure I'll be the first to hear about it," Clarke answered her without looking back.
No longer amused, and with nothing left to say, Lexa watched her go.
She made it worse. She knew that.
All she wanted was to make Clarke feel better. To not feel tensed or scared or worried all the time. She knew she would never be the one to make her happy—boy, did she blew that chance—but if she could make her laugh, or smile at least, even it was just for once... Whatever she tried though, whether it was offering her rest and reassurance or making (seemingly) bad jokes, nothing worked.
That was the truth she had to deal with. That while defeating angry warriors and future kings was peanuts, she was not able to get through Clarke's armor.
Not unless she'd finally put her own one down...
~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~
let's do some prompts
I delayed my response because I wanted to read your ficlet first. It just confirmed my praise was spot on! And it they just kept going and going. Some epic stamina all around. As I read it, I wondered if they made a sex tape by accident and was going to ask if they did and if they’d watch it, but got my answers as I read. Also, the “Ta-da” … awesome! Hope you continue with the Surfer Clarke and Yoga Lexa AU as time goes on.
P.S. Thank you for the kind words, we are all enjoying getting to know our little guy and fall more in love with him each day.
Hi! With Wanheda's Dagger Week coming up (very excited btw 🙂‍↕️😝) i wanted to know if you'll writing a prompt I sent you a while ago(?) It was about college Clexa firts time (together and their own), both very inexperienced and Lexa being excited and scared that Clarke is BIG™
Don't know if you got it/remember (?) I would love if you're up to writing it because I love your style, but if not, could you post the prompt for whanheda's dagger week so other writers could use it (?) Please 🥹 I didn't save the full thing but remember adding a bunch of details and I'd love to see a ficlet like it
Thank you 💖
Oh my goodness i do not remember it!
Hmmm I will take a stroll through my inbox and see if i can find your prompt. If I decide i cant realistically write it, of course i can post it on as a prompt for wanheda's dagger week ☺️🩷
If I dont find it at all I'll tell you as sometimes tumblr could have eaten the ask! I'll do my best ☺️
Top 5 fave fanfics you've ever read
"pls nothing that requires research" -> this lmao. could i help myself anyway? no. i went and retrieved my laptop from the dining room and brought it to bed to start digging into this. me at 10:15pm:
Tumblr media
but here’s the deal: there’s no way in hell i can give you my fave fics of ALL time. i’ve been reading fic for many years, some of them on sites that no longer exist. there are several “sorry, this fic has been deleted!” entries in my ao3 bookmarks. a lot of those years were also in the hp fandom, which is not a topic i’m willing to revisit given the situation now, despite the fact that i read many incredible hp fics & crossovers.
also, my memory is swiss cheese! but i can give you 5 fics that come to mind as ones i’ve revisited time and time again over the years. for many of these, i feel an enduring gratitude for it as a work that introduced me to the author(s) as someone whose writing i want to follow. & some of them became buddies which is! cool! for me. it’s an hour past my bedtime now so here’s what springs to mind:
you’re magic & you’re real by @unicyclehippo and @possibilistfanfiction (who also has a bunch of tumblr ficlets for this au under #gaf au) [the 100, clexa] it’s been 7 years and i still reread it at least annually. the universe, this version of these characters - it is precious to me. tender.
You Still Make Sense to Me (Your Mess is Mine) by @emilyjunk [pitch perfect, bechloe] angie is going to kill me for this in the morning because she wants it to be forgotten she ever wrote bechloe lmao but! despite that! i still reread this regularly. they’re so dumb and i love them so much. i can’t keep saying ‘tender’ yet that’s how i feel about this one too!
Something Suspiciously Close to Hope by @hedaswolf [the 100/Stranger Things crossover, clexa] ok, i did watch most of the first season of stranger things before it got too scary for me and never picked it up again. however, the wholesome ache this induces is the right palate cleanser for certain kinds of despair.
The Key to Byzantium by MarcusRowland [buffy/stargate sg1 crossover] wildcard, stargate was my parents’ fandom when i was a kid lmao. a decade and a half and it’s just a casual thing i want to have fun bopping to every so often!
the wn fandom has so so so many incredible fics & writers, but the fandom is too new to have any idea yet of what fics will endure for me. but so far show me something of a reckoning by @lucytara [warrior nun, avatrice] is something i have already reread… a ridiculous number of times. some phrases in this are so delicious & sticky for my brain that when i was writing pnw au i actually had to go check to make sure i wasn’t accidentally plagiarizing (and caught it a few times, whoops!)... it's absolutely incredible. have a good feeling about the staying power on this one.
two questions about the 10 years later au; what were clexa’s last date/significant moment/etc before the news about clarke’s disease and lexa leaving? and what was lexa’s first reaction to seeing clarke after waking up in the hospital?
Anon stay tuned I’m going to write little ficlets for these!!
I’ll still answer it now because as we all know, I’m not the fastest when it comes to writing. For the first question, I’d say it was something quite simple and mundane. They do a midweek date night that they both take turns planning, and this week was Clarke’s turn. They went out to the pier the next town over, went to the arcade, spent wayyy too much money, won some tickets and a prize, then for dinner at a seafood place on the water. This was a couple of days after Clarke had been to the doctor’s for a regular routine checkup, and it’s the next day that she hears back with bad news.
It’s about a month between this and Lexa leaving. Because at first it seems like it can be handled just fine, and Clarke never expected her parents to hold her own life over her head like this. It’s only when it starts getting really bad that Lexa puts her foot down and says she can’t live with herself if something happens to Clarke knowing she could have stopped it. They have a fight over this but when Lexa doesn’t come to visit her the next morning in the hospital, Clarke knows she’s gone.
And the second one. I’d say the main thing Lexa is feeling is confusion. She hasn’t seen Clarke in 10 years and a part of her thinks she’s dreaming. She just looks at Clarke all confused because in her mind, it makes no sense. She reaches up to touch her, and every muscle in her body protests, making her cuss out in pain, to which Clarke gets really concerned and grabs her hand asking if she’s okay. And Lexa just. Stares at her for a moment, feels her hand in hers, then finally asks “is it really you?”
can i just get some classic clexa? i am having a bad day and just need them.
Of course! I'm sorry you aren't having a good day. Sending love.
Clarke waded into the hot spring and felt the warm water start to take away some of the tension that always seemed to be present in her body.
She moved slowly through the water and found her way to Lexa who was sitting on a natural ledge inside the spring. “Enjoying the spring?” Lexa asked as Clarke sat down next to her.
“I can’t believe this is yours.” Clarke looked around at the enclosed space, still in awe.
“It is quite magnificent.” Lexa responded, but her eyes were locked on Clarke.
Clarke felt her face grow warm under Lexa’s gaze and the steam coming from the water. There had been so much unspoken between the two in the weeks Clarke had been in Polis.
Lexa had saved her life, and since then, they had shared many moments of intense connection. Clarke had never felt such a pull towards someone before. She knew it was dangerous to fall for the Commander of the Grounders, but she couldn't help the way she felt.
“Clarke…I should never have left…” Lexa started, but Clarke stopped her with a shake of her head.
“No, we aren’t going to live in the past. We can’t change what happened.” Clarke moved closer to Lexa on the ledge. “It can be impossible to separate the Commander from Lexa. But now, I know I’m with Lexa.”
Lexa smiled and nodded in complete agreement with Clarke. She knew that she would never just be the Commander when it was the two of them. Clarke had shown her that they could do more than just survive this world.
They both fell into a comfortable silence. Clarke glanced over at Lexa and saw that she was staring out into the distance, lost in thought. Clarke decided to take a chance and reached out to touch her hand.
Lexa turned to look at her, and they locked eyes. In that moment, all the unspoken feelings between them came to the surface. Clarke leaned in and kissed Lexa softly, and she responded eagerly.
The kiss was full of passion and tenderness, and Clarke knew that she wouldn’t be able to keep herself from Lexa anymore. She was in love and despite how much this world wanted to keep them apart, she couldn’t let it.  They broke away, and Lexa's eyes were shining with emotion.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," Clarke said, feeling breathless.
"Me too," Lexa replied, and they shared another deep kiss.
Falling in Love in a Quarantine: Part 8
OP | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7
PART 8: Day 19
Clarke was drenched in exhaustion—her 12-hour shift quickly turned into a 16-hour one, and it was nearly midnight by the time she got home. She walked into the quiet, dark house and immediately headed to the kitchen. She was hungry—no, she was famished. The turkey sandwich she had for lunch did absolutely nothing for her, and the fact that she skipped out on breakfast made matters worse.
Upon turning the light on, she couldn’t help but smile at the counter. A single plate, covered with foil, and a note:
Know tonight was a late one, but wasn’t sure if you had a chance to eat. Warm up for a minute and a half. Watching TV in your room, if I’m asleep in there, kick me out!!
She followed the instructions, and once the food hit her mouth, she could have sworn that it was the best thing she had ever tasted. It was likely a combination of her hunger pains, Lexa being handy in the kitchen, and the sweet note—but c’est la vie.
After a quick clean up and running the dishwasher, she swiftly made her way up the stairs. A little peek around the corner, and she saw Lexa’s bedroom light on and the door wide open—the brunette nowhere to be found. She quietly made her way into her room and found Lexa just as the note described. She was sprawled across the bed on top of the covers and Sandy was laying against her. The retriever awoke when Clarke walked in, but didn’t dare to move from her spot. The TV was on, the sounds of a political documentary filling the room, because of course that was what Lexa was watching.
Her heart raced at the sight, and she couldn’t help but imagine a world in which she came home to find the same exact thing, but Lexa being meant to be there—Lexa not having to leave a note, saying to wake her up and send her back to her room if she had fallen asleep.
She exhaled the thought away and sauntered into her en suite to shower, deciding to give Lexa a few more minutes of sleep before she woke her. She washed away the smell of the hospital from her hair, her skin. She washed away the rough day. She washed away the thoughts she had been frequently having about her best friend. Her conversation with Raven the previous weekend had her thinking more and more about the possibility of telling Lexa, seeing if there was any chance that she could possibly feel the same way, but every time she tried to muster the courage, she could never actually bring herself to do it—there was too much at stake.
She toweled off and threw an old t-shirt and shorts on before walking into the bigger room. Sandy, still wide awake at Lexa’s side, started furiously wagging her tail at the sight of Clarke approaching the bed.
“Sandy, no,” Clarke called out in a hushed whisper. “You’re going to wake Lexa up, stop.”
The constant thrashing of the tail finally caused Lexa’s eyes to flutter, “Sandy, what is it?” Her arm curled around the dog to calm her. Once fully aware of Clarke’s presence, she turned her attention to her, “Sorry, did you see my note?”
Clarke nodded with a smile. She stood post a few feet from the bed.
Lexa rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands, “I just wanted to watch this documentary and had been on the couch all day, so figured I’d find a room with new scenery.” Her eyes now fully open, “Hope you don’t mind.”
“When have I ever minded anything like this?” Clarke raised a browit was true. All the way back to college, Clarke would walk into her dorm room to find Lexa in her bed doing homework, reading, or watching some show, all because her roommate had a revolving door of visitors. The habit stuck ever since.
Lexa shrugged as she started to sit up, “I just figured you had a hard day, didn’t want to put another obstacle in front of you.”
“I did,” Clarke nodded. “But my mood got exponentially better when I got home and had that salmon. Thank you for that, by the way.”
“Least I could do,” Lexa smiled, readying to swing her legs over the bed to head back to her room.
It seemed like Sandy had other plans, though. As soon as Lexa made the move, the dog immediately sat in her lap. Sixty-five pounds of fluff plopped down on her, causing Lexa to fall back into the bed. She hit the pillow with an oomph, and Clarke couldn’t help but laugh.
“Sandy girl, come on,” Lexa exhaled, trying to push the dog off of her. “I gotta go to bed now, c’mon.”
To no avail, Sandy sat contently, wagging her tail and eyeing Clarke.
“Well,” Clarke started towards the bed. “Looks like this girl has other plans for you. Mind if I join?”
“It’s your bed,” Lexa sighed, still trying to remove the dog from her frontside. The angle she was in was proving to be unhelpful. “Clarke, get her off me.”
“She does what she wants, Lex,” Clarke laughed again as she took a seat next to the two. “You should know that by now, you’re basically her sole caretaker these days.”
As soon as Clarke hit the bed, Sandy bounded off of Lexa and found a cool spot at their feet.
“Finally,” Lexa gave out a tired sigh, as she brushed the dog hair off her tank top. “Sorry about that,” she offered.
“Tell me about the documentary,” Clarke started as she got under the covers. There was no doubt in her mind of how tired she really was, but it was nice to have Lexa next to her—even if it was just going to be a few more minutes. She wanted to make the most of it.
Lexa smiled, sitting up and propping a pillow between her head and the headboard, “It’s about how fucked our criminal justice system is. It was pretty good.”
“So good that it put you to sleep?” Clarke raised a brow.
“I was tired,” Lexa shrugged. “I’ve seen it a million times already, it’s one of my favorites.”
“You’re such a nerd,” Clarke pretended to shove her shoulder. “And that’s coming from someone who went through twelve years of higher education to get my job.”
Lexa shrugged it off, “Whatever. You still love me.”
“I do,” Clarke nodded. “Why don’t we start it from the beginning so you can see it a million and one times. I’m probably going to fall asleep, but I’m interested.”
“Okay,” Lexa smiled as she cozied herself back into the bed. “From the top.”
There was a time when I tried to imagine how the story would have continued if I'd had a say in it. This was one of the ideas.
„Clarke!“
Grinning to herself, Clarke turns in the direction of the soft sound that was just loud enough for her to hear. Even after all these years, Lexa still manages to sneak up on her. She squints into the darkness until she sees the outline of a body separating from the shadows, moving towards her slowly. Clarke shuffles to get up, moving towards her. There’s no need to run even if she feels the urge to do just that. Half way between the tree line and the small fire Clarke has set up, they meet.
“It’s been too long,” Lexa says, reaching for Clarke’s hand.
“Too long,” Clarke agrees, taking Lexa’s other hand too. They stand like that for a moment, gazing at each other, looking for what has changed. But there is nothing different. The fire behind Clarke illuminates Lexa’s face, a soft smile tugging at her lips. There are a few lines around her eyes, a deepening crease between her brows, carved in by years of worrying. Lexa’s eyes still hold the same light. They still hold their love. And Clarke knows it will never change. Lexa leans in to kiss her softly.
The commander’s kisses still make her weak. And Clarke still can’t get enough of them. She feels Lexa’s arms slide around her waist loosely, thumbs hooking into her belt and pulling her in.
“I can’t stay long,” Lexa sighs against her lips. “I barely managed to get away. Titus is old but he’s alert like a hawk still.”
Clarke growls, capturing Lexa’s lips once again.
“When will you be able to get away for longer? Because there are things I want to do that we need a little more time for.”
Lexa chuckles, a carefree sound Clarke has only ever heard when they’re alone.
“I’m taking Aden on my travels next month. I’m planning on sneaking away for a few days afterwards, let the rest of them return to Polis and I will come see you.”
“You should think they allow the old commander to rest more,” Clarke says, wrapping a strand of Lexa’s hair around her fingers, careful not to disturb her ever-perfect braids.
“Who are you calling old?” Lexa’s laughter rumbles up through her belly, leaving her eyes sparkling with joy.
“I love you.” Her voice is still as soft when she speaks to Clarke.
“And I love you,” Clarke replies. “Even if you’re old.”
“I should punish you for the disrespect you’re showing me.”
Lexa steps closer and puts on her commander face. It still makes Clarke heart skip a beat when Lexa looks at her like this. Clarke cups Lexa’s cheek and feels her lean into it. She lets her fingers trail along Lexa’s lips.
“You should come punish me soon. I think I deserve it.”
Enjoying the sight of Lexa’s mouth dropping open slightly, her commanders’ face slipping to reveal her lover, Clarke leans in for another kiss.
“I wish you had more time.”
Silence settles between them but if and when, why and why not does not matter right now. Clarke knows where her heart belongs. Lexa knows it too. It’s all that matters. Leaning their foreheads together, Lexa hums quietly.
“Soon, my love.”
She kisses Clarke again, deeply, the kiss speaking louder than anything they could say. Lexa has sworn her love many times since the first time and it’s in her kiss, it always is, in the first, the last and every single one in between. It ends too soon but it always does. Smiling sadly, Lexa adjusts her gear.
“I’ll send a message.”
She turns and listens for a moment but there is no sound, no danger of being found out. She always makes sure they’re safe. Within seconds, she has disappeared, become one with the night again, adding no sound of her own to it.
It will be a cold night and Clarke needs to get going too. She tramples out the small fire, hiding its remains under dirt, covering the top with leaves until there’s no trace left. Before she sets out, she turns towards Polis one last time, the fire on top of the tower just visible through the trees in the distance. She smiles and starts walking. They have to keep it secret but damn, isn’t this the best secret ever.
Lexa wandered into the corner store later than usual, and it happened to be just a few minutes before Clarke was getting off work. After Clarke had declined Lexa’s invitation to the Polis U Law Department fundraiser, the blonde had been making an effort to try to get closer to Lexa.
“I want to take you out.” Clarke had said to Lexa as she walked into Sky Mart.
“I would love that, Clarke. But you and I both know that can’t happen.” Lexa replied dejectedly.
“You lack imagination, Lex.” Clarke raised an eyebrow. Lexa knew she was in trouble. “Just trust me. What are you doing tonight?”
“It’s midnight, I’m going home.” Lexa laughed, “There’s nowhere else to go.”
“Oh, but there is, counselor.” And there’s that wink again. “I’m about to clock out. Come with me?”
Who is Lexa to deny this girl? Even if it ends up in a run-in with the law, due to the tracker securely attached to Clarke’s ankle.
-
And so Lexa finds herself inside of Clarke’s apartment. It’s not the first time she’s been here. But it looks vastly different. The living room is spotless, as is the kitchen.
“I was thinking maybe I could draw you. Show you that I’m more than just a vandal.” Clarke jokes, “If that's something you’d be into?”
Lexa pauses in the living room.
“Draw me?”
“Yes. I’ve been trying, at work, in my down-time. But I can’t seem to get your jaw right.” Clarke takes a gentle grasp of Lexa’s chin. Turning it just slightly to the left, “Your bone structure is immaculate, and when you smile, your eyes crinkle just a bit. It drives me crazy.”
Lexa feels the flush coming up her neck.
“And you’re just so beautiful when you blush.” The artist smirks, seeing the effect she has on Lexa.
“Oh- okay. Yes.” Lexa looks around the room. “Here?”
“Maybe. Let’s have a drink first. I promised to take you out.”
Lexa eye’s the blonde, confused. She watches Clarke wander over to the kitchen, hears her pouring something into glasses. She reappears with two rocks glasses half-filled with amber liquid on ice. “You strike me as a whiskey kind of girl.”
She’s right.
Clarke wanders over to the living room stereo. She plugs her phone into the aux cord. Lexa hears a familiar riff. “Dance with me first? We are out, afterall.”
Clarke offers her hand and Lexa takes it willingly.
They sway together to the music, drinks in one hand, and their other hands holding the other’s hips.
Clarke moves closer to Lexa, pressing their thighs together. “We’re on a dance floor, at Grounders.” Clarke says, eyes closing, Lexa closes hers too. “There are a few others out here with us, but I can only see you.” Their eyes remain closed. “I’ve been watching you all night. You were with some classmates, maybe close friends, but you haven’t looked up from your textbook. I knew I had to drag you away. I had to help you loosen up.” Lexa feels Clarke squeezing her hip, pulling her just a little bit closer.
Clarke rests her chin on Lexa’s shoulder as the song changes to something a little more upbeat. “What are you doing out here, when I know you would rather be at home?”
Lexa plays along, opening her eyes and seeing that the lights in Clarke’s living room seem to have dimmed. “I was supposed to meet someone here, but she couldn’t make it.”
“Too bad for her.” Clarke hums into Lexa’s ear. Lexa feels herself loosening up, possibly from the whiskey, more likely from Clarke’s presence.
“Good thing for you.” Lexa angles her head just a bit towards Clarke’s. The blonde takes this as her go-ahead, and takes Lexa’s lips between hers, just barely.
It can hardly be called a kiss. Lexa feels the barely there touch of Clarke’s tongue as the blonde begins to speak, “Absolutely. But I still really want to draw you.” She pulls back slightly, looking into Lexa’s eyes. “Can I? Please? You drive me crazy. I need to get you down on paper.”
Lexa feels herself melting from the inside out. She’s not used to this kind of attention. But she likes it. Oh, she likes it.
“Where do you want me?”
Clarke smirks, “Everywhere,” She murmurs against Lexa’s pulse point. “But first, in the kitchen.” The burn rages within Lexa’s stomach. “Can you just sit on a bar stool for me?” Clarke trails her hand up Lexa’s side, slowly, all the way to her neck. “I want to draw you like I imagined, reading amongst a crowd of people, in your own element. I feel like that's how we could have met, if things weren’t the way they are.” She looks down at her foot, nudging it against Lexa’s.
-
Lexa finds herself sprawled on Clarke’s couch, she’s unsure exactly how she got to this state of undress, but it’s a rush.
She lost her top somewhere in the kitchen.
Her jeans are unbuttoned, and slightly pushed down, just enough to expose the top of her underwear. She really wished she knew she’d be in this position when she left her apartment this morning. But the plain gray cotton briefs would just have to do.
She also wishes she had taken Clarke up on her offer of a second drink. Her shoulders are tense, she knows this. Clarke knows it too, if her soft smile of encouragement is any inclination.
“You don’t have to do this if you’re uncomfortable. Seriously.” Clarke sets her pencil down onto the sketch pad resting in her lap.
“No, no. I’m fine. I just- I guess I don’t know what to do with my hands.” She laughs awkwardly, holding her hands up in defeat.
With a light chuckle, Clarke stands up and walks- nope, definitely saunters over to Lexa on the couch.
She kneels down beside her, pulls Lexa’s hair around one shoulder, and takes both of her hands into her own.
“Just do whatever is comfortable. This can take as long, or be as quick, as you want.” The words are loaded. Clarke pulls Lexa’s hands down and rests them gently onto her own waist.
“This is comfortable.” It’s so quiet, Lexa is certain Clarke could barely hear her.
“Good girl.” It’s meant to be a subtle joke. There’s no authority behind the words. But Lexa sees Clarke’s pupils dilate as her grip tightens on the blonde’s waist. “I’ve got you.”
Clarke leans down and takes Lexa’s top lip between her own. It’s meant to be a gentle assurance. A way to distract Lexa from feeling so vulnerable laying splayed out under Clarke’s gaze. But as Lexa takes Clarke’s bottom lip between her teeth and tugs, well, their new plans for the evening definitely don’t include a sketchbook.
-
They kiss lazily. There’s no rush. They have all night. And they make use of it.
“Seems like you know exactly what to do with your hands.” Clarke murmurs against Lexa’s neck, where there’s sure to be a nice reminder of their night together in the morning. Lexa’s grip on Clarke’s ass softens, an apology on her lips. “S’good.” Clarke reaches back and presses Lexa’s hands back down, and proceeds to grind down harder into Lexa as she trails kisses down her collar bone.
“You’re so fucking beautiful. I can’t get enough of you.” Her kisses trail down to the swell of Lexa’s breast, just above the cup of her bra. Clarke’s hands glide up Lexa’s sides with ease, “This okay?” She glances at Lexa and if her slack jawed panting isn’t answer enough, she nods a few enthusiastic jerks of her head. Her hands continue their journey, Fingers wrapping around the sides of Lexa’s chest, and thumbs just barely slipping beneath her bra, grazing her nipples slightly. The hitch of Lexa’s breath and the quiet whimper as she pushes up into Clarke’s hands is the greenlight.
Arching her back higher off the couch, Clarke’s hands make their way around Lexa’s back. Holding eye contact, Clarke sees no sign of hesitancy, and undoes the clasp. Before she removes Lexa’s bra completely, she evens the playing field, sitting up quickly and pulling her own shirt over her head in a way that has no business being as attractive as Lexa finds it. Clarke’s bra follows as Lexa slides hers down her shoulders.
As Clarke presses their chests together Lexa can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. “Shit, Clarke.”
“You feel incredible, Lex.” Clarke kisses her. It tastes like a promise.
“I want you.” Lexa all but begs as she lifts her hips up to press into Clarke’s, leaving no room for debate. “Please.”
“You have me.” Clarke assures, and makes her way down Lexa’s stomach, leaving a trail of wet kisses in her wake. Lexa threads her fingers through Clarke’s hair, pushing it out of her face. Clarke’s eyes are electric. It spurs Lexa on even more. “What do you like?”
“God. Anything. Everything.”
“Tell me if you want me to stop.” Clarke slides Lexa’s jeans off, dragging her panties down with them. Lexa helps her kick them off. They land in a heap on the floor as Clarke drags her lips from Lexa’s knee to her mid thigh, where her hands join in.
Stop? Yeah, right. Lexa’s in way too deep and she feels like putty beneath Clarke.
Clarke drags one finger along Lexa’s folds, feeling and seeing the effect she’s already had on her. “All of this for me?” She shoots Lexa a cocky smirk, paired with her signature raised eyebrow as she leans down for a taste.
Lexa both loves and hates what that does to her. She doesn’t know the last time she’s felt so wanted. She knows Clarke can feel how much it turns her on.
Clarke doesn’t ease in. She takes Lexa into her mouth with a filthy, opened mouthed kiss. Lexa can’t hear Clarke’s moan over the sound of her own, but she feels it reverberating through her whole body.
It’s all-consuming, feeling Clarke’s mouth devouring her with a skill Lexa didn’t know existed. She feels the blonde pressing her tongue just barely inside, before she feels the pressure of her fingers instead. She didn’t realize her head had been thrown back so far, until she had to readjust to look down at Clarke when she didn't feel her pressing further inside. “Yes. Fuck. Please.” She whines out, not able to take a single second more of not being filled by Clarke.
Starting with just one finger, Clarke quickly realizes Lexa needs another. She adds a second, and with one final suck to Lexa’s clit, makes her way back up to be face to face with Lexa. “You taste so good. So fucking good.” Clarke exhales heavily before allowing Lexa to taste herself on her lips. It’s dirty, and everything Lexa needs as Clarke slowly pumps her fingers.
Lexa finds herself thanking every God she can think of that Clarke’s roommate isn’t home. She has no control over the filthy sounds coming from deep within her lungs.
Feeling Lexa clenching around her fingers, asking for more, Clarke prepares to add another finger, pulling back from the kiss for assurance.
“Need you. Need more.” Is about as coherent of a sentence Lexa can provide.
Clarke is not one to deny. She slowly pulls her fingers back, curling them as she goes. Before she completely removes them, Clarke adds a third finger as she pushes back in. She can feel that it’ll be Lexa’s limit. “God you’re so tight, feel so good wrapped around my fingers.” She feels Lexa’s walls pulsing at her words.
“You’re taking me so well. That’s it.” Lexa is close. She doesn’t want it to end yet. Clarke isn’t letting up though.
“Clarke. Shit. I’m close.” Her leg all but wraps around Clarke’s back. She feels like she’s going to crawl out of her own skin in the best way.
“I know. I’ve got you.” Clarke presses her thumb to Lexa’s clit, making quick work of bringing her closer to the edge. “Come, Lexa. I can feel you, you’re so close. That’s it.” Her leg tightens fully around Clarke. “Good girl.”
And with that, Lexa is a goner.
Note
I can /knot/ believe there's more alpha Clarke x omega Lexa fics!!! We should fix that with your ABO horny hour
👀🤔 what if at the end of horny hour i put for vote all the headcanons i was sent and that I responded to (if its more than 10 Ill need to go for more popular ones via notes) and I write an actual ficlet for it, just to throw some alpha Clarke x omega Lexa in the ao3 clexa tag? 🤔
(If i was braver, I'd host an alpha clarke x omega lexa event. It'd be fun and a way to get that tag more fics. We could have some vague themes, prompts and abo tropes and such and each writer would write a little something for the ones they want. It would be fun but probably niche. And to make it worth everyones while it would have to be like a thing where people actually interacted with the fics. Would it be fun? Yes. Very niche? Probably.)
