Descorchados 2024 reuniu mais de 1.700 pessoas entre os estados de São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro

A 26ª edição do Guia Descorchados chegou ao fim, encerrando uma jornada que percorreu as cidades de São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro, reunindo expoentes e produtores de vinhos latinos-americanos. 

Com um número recorde de participantes, o Descorchados 2024 cativou mais de 1.7000 visitantes, com 1.100 deles em São Paulo e +600 no Rio de Janeiro. Em São Paulo, 108 expositores se reuniram para apresentar o que há de melhor na produção vinícola sul-americana, enquanto no Rio de Janeiro foram 51 produtores a compartilhar suas preciosidades.

Ambos os eventos foram palco para a presença marcante de renomados produtores e enólogos, que trouxeram consigo não apenas vinhos de alta qualidade, mas também todo o conhecimento e paixão que permeiam a cultura do vinho na América Latina. No Rio de Janeiro, especialmente, a ampliação do espaço permitiu não só acomodar mais visitantes, mas também receber uma seleção ainda mais diversificada de produtores, entre eles nomes de peso que contribuíram para elevar ainda mais o prestígio do evento.

Submitted Prompt: Universal Scars.

Hi again, I found inspiration to finish my fourth idea of my AU series.

Though this is chronologically speaking, the second one lol.

Occurs after "Universal Chaos" and before "Universal Theater".

Here we get to read as Cosmic Actress and Natasi find out that the cosmos is broken and damaged, and that the kwamies are slaves. And the results of that are not pretty.

I also think it's a little messy (and I think is somehow even longer, though I wanted it to be shorter...), so...

Time is broken AU. Because that AU is what gave me the inspiration for the Oblovion prompt.

Basically a small gift to @emberwritesinsight really as thanks for making that AU.

Kwamies are slaves.

As the Wish was made, reality twisted.

For a second, Cosmic Actress felt like nix was floating in space, before gravity reasserted itself.

Cosmic Actress opened nix eyes and looked at the sight in front of nix.

Nix was still in the Eiffel tower, the city felt peaceful.

"It seems the Wish was a success!"

Nix looked behind and saw the source of the voice.

Natasi was there smiling happily.

Cosmic Actress relaxed in relief.

Nix could feel nothing wrong in Natasi's aura, so nix was happy that nix friend had not left because of the Wish.

"Yes, I think so."

Nix told Natasi and checked nixself.

It was at that moment that nix found something strange.

Nooroo's and Duusuu's miraculouses are still worn by nix.

But Tikki's and Plagg's miraculouses are not with nix. They are gone.

Both frowned for a moment before shrugging.

Maybe the cosmos took them away so Tikki and Plagg can recharge their energy or something.

Nix touched the Butterfly and Peacock miraculouses gently and murmured softly. "Nooroo, Duusuu, are you there?"

Nothing happened.

No little kwamies appearing, no voices. Nothing.

Nix felt concerned now.

Nix was not transforming via the peacock or the butterfly miraculouses right now. By all rights, the two kwamies should be appearing...

"Cosmic Actress," nix looked at Natasi as loc face was worried. "I think that... they are not there. Or at least not conscious at all."

Nix eyes widened at the news. "What?"

Natasi nodded, biting loc lips. "I can feel their previous auras, but it's not attached to their miraculouses anymore. The auras are now... part of you. I think that the Wish... had at the very least swapped Nooroo and Duusuu's powers and made them yours."

Nix wanted to refute that, to say that maybe Natasi had made a mistake somehow but-

Now that Natasi stated it, nix can vaguely feel the emotions of people down there, feel their calmness, worry, excitement, and more. Nix could feel Natasi's doubt and hesitation.

And nix could feel the power. The abillity to give these feeling a new form.

This is not natural. Nix shouldn't be having this power. It should belong to the two kwamies.

Both looked with worry for few minutes before sighing.

Cosmic Actress felt a headache starting to form. Nix didn't want this, Natasi also didn't want this.

"Maybe we could use this power to fix this?"

Nix asked.

Clo pondered for a moment before agreeing.

The butterfly and peacock miraculouses were busted and overpowered as hell, so maybe it will work.

Cosmic Actress clapped nix hands, a light purple glow manifesting as a white butterfly of energy was created.

The butterfly made contact with Natasi. This time, there was no corruption or forced mind control. Just a purely symbiotic bond.

There was no need to change Natasi's name.

"Natasi, I give you the power to fix the damage done to Nooroo and Duusuu and all the other kwamies. Do you accept?"

Natasi accepted, and white glow started appearing, giving her a new form. A form to free Nooroo and Duusuu and the rest of the kwamies.

But unfortunately, Natasi's new form barely started appearing, before it suddenly shattered like glass much to Natasi's surprise and Cosmic Actress.

"W-what?"

Nix asked in confusion.

The connection that should have been made, had shattered. As if it couldn't be allowed to exist.

No, that was not it, nix can feel.

The connection itself was not the problem, but the goal both wanted to achieve.

"I- I didn't even resist! How!?" Clo exclaimed in shock as the energy of the transformation was cut short and vanished.

Both stood in silence, and they realized the answer, even if neither liked it at all.

"It seems that... we can't use the butterfly or the peacock's powers to fix whatever that happened." Cosmic Actress grimaced as nix spoke.

"Do... do you think that the rules of how the miraculouses work changed in this reality?" Natasi asked in worry.

That, neither knew the answer for.

Things were already not going well. ==== After multiple more attempts that brought similar results, the duo discovered few things.

Nooroo and Duusuu's powers worked just as intended for the most part.

Cosmic Actress could Championize (opposite of Akumatize, you can change it if you like) Natasi with no problem and give loc all sorts of powers.

It's when the powers related to fixing whatever harm that befell on Duusuu and Nooroo that the process was immediately broken.

The same with Amoks. As long as the purpose of their 'creation' was anything but healing the kwamies, they came to existence just fine. Otherwise they don't appear at all. No speck of energy could even appear.

Naturally, Cosmic Actress freed the Amoks nix created. It would be unfair to destroy them just because.

Almost all of them left and went to enjoy their lives, wether among human population in Paris or just wandering across the globe.

In the end, after waving goodbye at the leaving Amoks, both decided to ignore the mess of Nooroo's and Duusuu's predictment for now and simply have fun.

As the two discovered, today is the first day of school year.

It turns out that the wish punted the two into the past where everything started. Where Marinette will be 'saving Fu' and get her miraculous, thus starts a life of suffering where her opinion is Always Wrong even more so than in her childhood, and where Adrien will most likely give Fu a "gentle" smile and that will somehow mean he is a hero material.

Now, that won't do.

Marinette deserves more than being cursed to a fate of self-destruction because an old man and a kwami with the mind of a toddler (Tikki) think that throwing responsilibity of saving the world on a child and think that said child must also bottle all their negative feelings, lest the world conspire to make her suffer for being a human being with feelings.

It sure won't be ironic at all when Adrien can be as angsty and sad and predatory as he wants and still not be punished for anything and get away with things that no person can get away with.

Well, Adrien won't die now, neither will Chloe.

Might give them one last chance at redemption in this timeline.

But Gabriel and Andre the mayor?

They're out of luck, especially since a quick check showed them still a bunch of racists and billionaires in this reality.

“Poor” rich bastards.

Oh, might as well kill Emilie (if she's still alive and not kidnapped or killed by one of Gabriel's enemies) and all the other rich snobs in the other parts of the worlds. They're all nothing but a waste of air.

Might as well kill the cops while at it.

And Fu as well. That guy couldn't bother using any of the dozen miraculouses he had to fix his mistake of losing the Peacock and the Butterfly miraculouses. And he then threw the responsibility of saving the world on the laps of literal children with no adequate reason. He didn't even bother to check and make sure his "chosen" were up to the job. Or care to stop Adrien when it was blatantly clear how incompetent and irresponsible the rich kid was.

Sometime during the "cops & rich snobs" killing mission, clo told nix about the two superheroes approaching, and seconds later, both heroes appeared.

Adrien and Marinette, the same people were picked up.

Marinette looked determined, even if the Akuma and Amok duo could feel her uncertainty.

Adrien was... excited. For a fight, or for letting loose, nix didn't care.

'Almost forgot the first day of Marinette getting the Ladybug earrings. He was as excited and reckless back then as well.' Cosmic Actress mused before glancing at Natasi.

"Welcome, heroes. I am Cosmic Actress. This is my friend, Natasi." nix said.

Using nix new emotion sensing ability, nix found that she had almost similar problems with the original Marinette. Chloe bullied her, adults didn't defend her, she was forced to be the "bigger person" by the teachers, etc.

Adrien's emotions meanwhile, well... There was the desire to let loose and have fun, but there was also a lot of hidden resentment towards Gabriel and his mother. (who was alive in this timeline, nix killed her anyways)

Maybe this Adrien is so much more different than the first one.

But still, time to finish this.

With a swipe of Natasi's hands, Adrien gets teleported along with Cosmic Actress who takes away his miraculous with no effort.

He detransforms with shock in his face and nix drops him on the ground.

Nix tells him that nix knows his hatred towards his parents, and that both are now dead, and that he will not be abused by them any longer.

"I- They-!" he couldn't muster an answer from surprise.

The whole thing happened too fast for him to process completely.

"Yes, both are dead. Their wealth will be also distributed back to the society, like the money of the other rich snobs all around the world. You won't be one of the rich kids anymore. So, go get therapy to deal with the effects of your parents' abuse and to fix any abusive teachings they threw at you. Go make friends, be compassionate, and have fun. Just don't be a bigot. I'd rather not kill you."

Well, the current him anyways, before nix can see if he wants to redeem himself or not, but he doesn't need to know that.

Finishing the speech, Cosmic Actress left him alone to ponder on how to live his future.

Meanwhile, Natasi was also giving Marinette a similar speech after taking away the earrings.

The poor girl almost broke down at "failing so hard" at her 'mission' to protect Paris when Natasi told her that no, it was literally not her responsibility to save the literal world from magical terrorists or what Marinette thought the duo were. Just like how it isn't her job to cater to Chloe's selfish desires, whose parents are dead, so Chloe doesn't have her "dear daddy" to enforce her threats with.

Clo told Marinette that the only responsibility she has is to care about her grades as a student and be a good person. That's the only responsibility she has. Nothing like allowing the daughter of a fascist billionaire mayor to torment her and be unable to defend herself. And definitely not sacrificing her life for a job that was literally thrown at her.

Natasi tells her not to worry about Chloe's threats anymore. Clo as well tells her to go to therapy if she wanted or felt she needed to. Marinette's mental health is important after all.

With that, Natasi left Marinette who was feeling conflicted for so many reasons. === Cosmic Actress and Natasi walked into an abandoned building.

The appearance of the building mattered little compared to what the two planned to do.

The two wanted to use Tikki and Plagg's powers, along with the other kwamies (that their miraculouses were taken after Fu's death) to fix whatever happened to Duusuu and Nooroo.

Natasi reasoned that maybe the reason any attempt to heal the two kwamies failed was because clo and nix were not concepts or a manifestation of one.

Maybe if a kwami got Championized, it will work.

Nix couldn't see any problem with that.

It took minutes to calm the hysterical kwamies after freeing them from the box along with Tikki and Plagg.

None of them had been allowed to see the outside world for centuries, so it took a lot for them to calm down enough

Cosmic Actress told them of what nix and Natasi are, and that Duusuu and Nooroo are most likely hurt or in a magical sleep.

Nix told them that the plan was to Championize one of them to heal the two kwamies and also destroy the miraculouses so no one can misuse them, preferably Tikki since she embodies the Creation concept, but Plagg is a good substitute as well.

Tikki reluctantly agrees, and Cosmic Actress makes another white butterfly and sends it to Tikki.

This time, the connection holds, and Tikki transforms fully.

Everyone feels glad, but-

The moment Tikki is about to use her newfound powers to destroy the miraculouses-

She stops, much to the surprise of the rest of the watchers.

"Tikki?" Plagg asks in concern as he waves his tiny hand in front of her.

But she isn't responding. Nothing of her form is moving at all. And as the group focuses more, there is no sound from her at all either.

Natasi's eyes widen as clo steps back in shock.

"No, no way..." clo softly murmurs.

Nix looks at loc and asks what clo felt.

"This- this is not natural. It is not a paralysis! Tim- I can feel it! Tikki's time is forcefully stopped! Even my ability to control time can't reverse this!" Natasi tells the surprising development.

"How!? Why!?"

Cosmic Actress yells in shock that is reciprocated by the other kwamies as nix tries to fix this mess.

Luckily, just breaking the connection with Tikki was enough to revert Tikki into her not-suspended-in-time state.

More similar attempts were met with the exact same result.

It was impossible to heal Nooroo and Duusuu, and it is seemingly impossible to destroy the miraculouses.

Even Plagg's cataclysm could only damage a miraculous, and even then, only to a certain limit. If Plagg tries to damage the miraculous anymore, it won't have any effect.

In the end, after weeks of trying multiple methods and combos, all failing, Cosmic Actress and Natasi decided to take a break.

Luckily, making the kwamies able to not transform without their permission was easier, so now no kwami can be forced to transform people without permission.

The kwamies were given freedom to roam wherever and whenever they liked and the Akuma-Amok duo easily entertained them and played with them as well.

But even now, neither could Cosmic Actress and Natasi realize that the kwamies were slaves. Neither realized how easy it is to force a kwami to obey. And neither realized just how wrong the existence of the miraculouses was.

But the truth will be discovered in the end.

In all it's horrifying glory. ===== The thing that started the discovery was a seemingly random day, months after the duo used the Wish.

Just the normal sun blooming on the city of Paris, the life becoming better after the killing of the rich and abusive snobs.

Cosmic Actress was enjoying some delicious macarons from the Dupain-Cheng family.

Just enjoying the food with Natasi.

Marinette's emotional health grew better and nix could feel the girl becoming more energetic and upbeat. She was also having more time to spend on fashion and truly try to make her style.

It helped that Caline had "tragically" died and that her current replacement was not interested in allowing racism and abuse to infect the school.

The whole relevation started with a joking line.

"But, for a cool fashion designer, Marinette sure doesn't change her usual outfit much, if at all."

Natasi only meant it as a joke, and nix knew that.

But...

Something felt strange about the remark.

"Yes it is indeed a little strange but... wasn't that everyone?"

Nix asked, and clo was the one looking in confusion this time.

"I mean, doesn't Marinette's whole class also keep wearing the same outfit? I mean, even from Marinette's previous memories, didn't they also wear the same outfits for... months?"

Nix raised a brow as nix stopped talking, Natasi reciprocating the action.

"... Even Chloe, the girl that wanted to show how much better than others she was...?"

This time, a feeling of wrongness seeped into the hearts of the duo.

One person is a happenstance, two is a coincidence, more than thirty different people is...

"... Maybe we are just overthinking?"

Nix tried to shake the feelings of unease along with loc.

Neither were successful. === As weeks and months went by, the duo could no longer ignore just how some things did not make sense.

People not changing outfits could be excused as a large trend or some open secret.

But then as time went by, things became less easier to justify.

Paris, one of the biggest fashion centers, and most the fashion trends feel too bland and similar to fit.

Alix, one of Marinette's classmates, dying her hair and even months later, the dye still goes strong with no sign of disappearing.

And finally, the weather.

For a whole month, the sun never disappeared, never got covered by the clouds, never experienced a raining day...

In the winter...

The temperature itself did not drop, and neither do the civilians even bother wearing something more suited for winter.

It was as if the winter itself no longer existed.

"This is too much. This can't be normal or natural at all."

Cosmic Actress whispers as nix looks at the bright sun.

Natasi was also alongside nix, nodding.

"Yes, this is... abnormal... And now that I am looking for it, I can feel that space and time are not... working normally even if only a little."

Something wrong was going on, but what was it?

"Cosmic Actress. Championize me. If the city is having... whatever this is happening in it... Maybe we can understand if we saw other similar bizarre things happening."

Nix agreed and used a white magic butterfly to boost clo's sensing abilities even further.

Clo concentrated for a moment, searching for any abnormalities in space and time.

The rest of the planet felt like nothing was wrong, even after checking multiple times.

So Natasi decided to further loc senses outside the planet.

As clo focused, loc mind picked up multiple signals where the energy of the cosmos was... behaving abnormally.

"There is nothing wrong in the planet, currently, but... I believe that the rest of the universe has some severe problems."

Nix held a breath at that.

Clo looked at nix, and the message was clear.

The two should check whatever that was happening to have a better idea on what's going on in Paris. === "Ready?"

Cosmic Actress asked nix friend.

Natasi's form was glowing softly, a new form clo had gotten via another Championization.

This time, Natasi's new abilities was to allow loc and anyone of loc choosing to survive and be able to breathe and speak in space outside as well.

Clo nodded before opening a portal.

The two will be teleporting just far enough from whatever that was happening to the unreasonably wildly moving energy of the cosmos.

The duo took a long breath before entering the portal...

And were met with a sight that would have blown the minds of anyone looking at it.

The cosmos was indeed beautiful.

Stars shining brightly as they move, their brightness giving a orange-ish blue hue to the cold empty void of the universe.

It could be said that many scientists will risk their lives to see the beauty that the two were seeing right now.

Taking a moment to engrave the sight and enjoy it, the two then went to look for where the energy distortions were coming from.

The source was found after a few more minutes of high-speed travel, as a large rocky planet was orbiting around a star.

It sounded natural, except for one thing.

The sheer speed it was rotating around the star was too absurd to make any sense.

Usually, a planet will not go so fast to the point it looked like a large ring surrounding a star.

And usually, not when the planet was so far away from it's star.

To give an approximation, the distance between the planet and the star was as large as the distance between the sun and Jupiter.

Cosmic Actress would admit to not having a huge interest in the astronomy and space-related sciences, but nix knew that this level of speed is not natural to occur.

"Oh, my...."

Nix heard Natasi's whisper, and looked at loc.

"It's time. It- it's moving too fast. Unbearably fast. I almost can't keep up with how fast and strong time is going o- No, not only is it so fast, it's still going even faster!"

Natasi's face was showing shock and horror as clo spoke.

Clo was connected to time as manipulating it was one of loc original abilities, but to see this madness.

The sheer force time was going on, so differently was terrifying.

"Do you want us to get closer and check what's wrong?"

Cosmic Actress asked softly.

If Natasi wanted to check, the two will land on the planet to see what was going on, if not, the two will return to Earth and maybe see one of the other irregular places of the cosmos.

Natasi's body shook for a moment before looking resolute.

"We must see what's going on."

With that, the two teleported to the planet, with Natasi's natural time and space powers working as a protection from the rapidly increasing flow of time.

The first thing the two noticed is that the star doesn't look like a star at all when seeing it from there.

What would have been a large circle of light that moved slowly as the planet rotated on itself, was now moving so fast it resembled a sinusoidal arc.

And when Cosmic Actress looked at the ground of the rocky planet, the ground was...

It was rapidly becoming cracked, and shattered, slowly disappearing.

"Just what is going on here?"

"The planet... it's being forcefully aged. At this rate, it will cease to exist in less than a hundred years."

Cosmic Actress frowned at Natasi's conclusion.

Nix didn't doubt loc, but it was difficult for nix to comprehend just how fast things were aging and speeding up on this planet... or this solar system for that matter.

Natasi noticed the frown, and decided to demonstrate.

Clo picked up a small cube of metal from loc pockets, one of the many things loc collected just for fun.

Natasi then threw it gently into the air, as Cosmic Actress watched.

Nix felt the amount of force put into that throw. Something a normal six years old can do easily.

What was surprising is that the very moment the cube left loc hand, it suddenly vanished and reappeared just a few steps away on the ground.

There was no space or time manipulation from Natasi's part that caused that.

It happened solely because time in this part of the universe is moving abnormally fast to the point of absurdity.

And as the two watched the cube for a while, the cube started dissolving, disintegrating in front of nix and loc eyes.

Until nothing remained.

"That's how fast time is moving here. Had we not been protected, even we would have aged and withered to dust if we stayed too long."

Unease was clear in loc eyes as clo spoke.

It wa clear how uncomfortable clo felt with the way Time was marching in this place of the universe.

Deciding that maybe it's time to leave, the duo returned to Earth to get a break from the discovery, but the journey did not end yet.

The two needed to see the other areas of the cosmos.

Time was definitely messed-up, but what else in the universe is this... twisted?

As the two teleport across the universe, there were too many strange things that should not exist.

A planet that is struck by lightning bolts... that extend to three times the size of the sun.

A star that was made out of water without combusting or immediately collapsing on itself into a blackhole.

A gaseous planet bigger than Jupiter that literally had no mass or weight, as if gravity ceased to exist on it. Having a smaller mass than Earth is possible if a planet's density is extremely low, but having literally no mass could not be possible.

A planet locked in space, unable to move as it gets cooked by it's star that was closing towards it.

And finally, a galaxy that is frozen in time, unable to move. The worst case so far.

But there was also another situation that felt as urgent.

One that the duo was looking at right now.

It was a large star.

A star that normally would be able to annihilate almost everything in the universe by sheer heat and size alone.

And it was slowly getting sucked into a strange rift in space. A large rift that was ten times larger than the star.

But the worrying thing was not the fact that the star was being slowly eaten by the rift, Natasi states.

It's the fact that the strange rift is not even a rift in space or time.

Because neither clo or Cosmic Actress could feel the essence of any concept enemating from that strange... Void- No. It can't be called a void.

It was more like a Nothing.

A power and energy that simply nulls and erases any and every concept it comes to contact with. A power that was so out of the cosmos that it felt almost awful to look at.

"Just... what is going on with the cosmos?"

Cosmic Actress' question was left unanswered in front of the sight in front of the duo.

"First Paris and the strange weather and stagnation of the population's creativity. Next that planet where time moves so fast a normal human will age and wither in seconds. And now, this. It's as if..."

Natasi's eyes widened as a realization hit loc.

"As if the concepts are broken! As if they can no longer work naturally anymore!"

Now, it made sense now.

Creativity was broken, that's why none of the parisians were making any actual fashionable clothes.

Weather was broken, which is why it had not rained for months, and why sometimes lightning and rain occur in the cosmos in areas that should be devoid of it.

Time was broken, which is why it is stagnating in places, and running with frenzy in others.

Space was broken, which is why things are sometimes shackled to a specific coordinations in space, and why they sometimes are teleported with no explanation.

Creation and Destruction were also broken, causing the annihillation of matter with no explanation, and the creation of things that disobey all the rules of physics.

"But, what can cause this?"

Natasi kept pondering.

Cosmic Actress looked at nix friend, a possible answer appearing in nix head.

"What if... what if the kwamies being bound to their miraculouses is the reason?"

Both stood in silence pondering about that.

The kwamies were said to be an intristic part of the cosmos, a part of a concept, and even though some of their powers felt weirdly unrelated to the concepts they supposedly embody, their powers were real.

"But if the kwamies being separated from their whole concepts, if binding themselves to a miraculous for the sake of helping the humanity would cause this... Wouldn't they first make sure that the cosmos won't turn into... this?"

That was a great question. One with no easy answer.

Unless-

Nix eyes widened at the implications.

"Unless the kwamies could not refuse! The kwamies said that they were the ones to help the humanity. But now that I think of it, if that was true, why did Nooroo not stop Gabriel from abusing him? Why didn't Tikki create a whole different reality where Gabriel had already lost? Why did none of the other kwamies stop him and the many evil miraculous holders before him?"

Natasi's eyes widened with horror at the implications.

"No, no! It can't be! If what you say is true, then that means-!"

"That the kwamies are slaves. There is no other reason."

Both were paling as horror was written on their faces.

Nix put nix hand on nix face, feeling extremely drained.

"Now it makes sense. The failsafes. The inability of the kwamies to tell their holders' names. Nooroo's and Duusuu's inability to escape from Gabriel or just kill him right away. Why the kwamies 'needed' the help of an 'owner' to 'use their powers safely'. The miraculouses- The Shackles that are binding them. They are not just making the kwamies unable to refuse the holders of their Shackles. It must also be interfering with their ability to control their powers. The kwamies were part of the cosmos. They are literally billions of years older than any human. To think that a human will have any more understanding of what they were is nothing short of absurd."

Because it was true.

A being that lived for billions of years, working to stabilise the cosmos, yet it somehow knows less on how to control it's immense power than a human does?

"... what should we do now? We must free them. But..."

Natasi stopped speaking.

Both knew why.

Because all their previous attempts to break the miraculouses failed.

"... We should try once more. It's the only way we have now."

Nix answer was clear.

There is nothing else that could be done for now. === Once more, the kwamies were there.

The group had assembled for the sake of another attempt to break the miraculouses.

This time, nix decided on a feedback loop.

Nix boosts someone's powers, and they boost everyone else's powers, including nix and Natasi.

Repeat the process until it felt more than sufficient to break the damn Shackles.

It took almost three minutes of boosting and addding more and more abilities, and this time, Natasi was sure that the tie won't suddenly freeze when the group tries to break the Shackles.

One final Championization was made to help them combine and synchronize their powers with complete precision, as a large beam of light hit the miraculouses.

And much to the surprise of everyone, the miraculouses actually shattered.

Everyone cheered, as the kwamies' bodies glowed and their powers started to grow brighter.

Two blue and purple lights exited Cosmic Actress' body, manifesting into Duusuu and Nooroo, the two kwamies glowing as well, seemingly healed of whatever that caused them being locked into nix body.

Slowly, their bodies started to vanish into particles, as they told the Amok and Akuma that they are fixing the cracks in the universe.

It felt like something truly grand and happy, as Natasi and loc friend couldn't help to smile.

But it was over all too soon, as reality, like glass, broke into tiny fragments in front of the duo.

Knocking them unconscious in the process. === The two awoke with a groan, looking at the area around.

The place seemed to be a rocky and barren land, with large pillars and altairs everywhere.

"Wh- where...?"

Nix spoke in confusion as nix felt a headache, Natasi just as confused.

It took a moment for loc to feel the strangeness.

"Cosmic Actress, my connection with time... it tells me that we are in an alternate reality. And in the past as well."

"What?"

Clo pointed to the left.

"Come on, I feel people are there! Maybe we can find out what happened and where and when exactly we are."

Moving towards where the feeling of life was enemating, both walked slowly and carefully, a sense of wrongness consuming the two.

Something felt really wrong...

Reaching the destination, the two were met with an unusual sight.

A bunch of men and women, from different ages wearing robes talking in a strange language.

None of them noticed the duo, nor did they seemed to care.

Nix and clo watched as the group's speech seemed to change, as both felt their hairs rise.

Something was very, very wrong here...

And both felt neaseaus when out of nowhere, an immense wave of light and energy came to existence.

And was sucked into a tiny jewel.

The duo couldn't comprehend what happened. Even when their senses told them.

For a moment, nothing happened, then the two felt as if the cosmos, it's very energy...

It- it was ripped away. Leaving an emptiness that neither could describe. An emptiness that felt so repulsive and painful to feel.

And as the two looked at the jewel, a new light appeared...

Transforming into a tiny animal-looking creature.

A ladybug-looking creature.

"Tikki..."

Nix said softly as realization and horror enveloped nix and Natasi.

"These people- These bastards! They enslaved Tikki!"

Clo was trembling with rage and horror.

The sudden emptiness in the Creation, clo felt it. And it was one of the most vile sensations clo had ever felt in loc relatively short life.

The shattering of a concept, of it's very will and then Shackling it.

It was unforgiveable!

The two rushed to destroy the damn Shackle and kill the assholes that started the whole thing!

Nix arm was pulsing with energy, planning to annihilate them in one hit, and unleashed!

The wave of energy that would obliterate everything moved at blinding speed-

Only for it to pass through the group with no harm done to them.

"W-what!?"

Nix couldn't believe it.

The attack should have erased them from existence, not phase though them as if they were ghosts!

Natasi tried as well, but-

"I- I can't hit them! Even controlling space and time is-!"

It was the same result.

"It's as if we are mere spectators in this era... Don't tell me-!?"

The cosmos... the cosmos is not allowing the two to kill these men.

'Why!?'

The question was left unanswered as the "Guardians" didn't even feel anything.

There was no response from them.

It was like nothing happened at all.

"Why...?"

Cosmic Actress gritted nix teeth from rage, before looking at Natasi.

"Natasi! I seem to have a little more power from Nooroo! Let us try to use it to stop them!"

Natasi didn't need to be told twice, and light engulfed loc form, power oozing as now, both could interact with the world.

The "Guardians" noticed the two now, but it was already too late for them.

All of them died with no exception, and Tikki was immediately freed.

Whatever spells these people used were not completely stabilized yet, so shattering the miraculous was a much easier endeavor.

Unfortunately, as Tikki's essence seemed to return and merge with the cosmos, the reality-

It shattered again.

Leaving the duo unconscious for another time. === Another wake-up, and another realisation.

The duo saw the same scene, the Guardians enslaving Tikki and then startint to target the other kwamies.

Cosmic Actress realized thanks to the previous experience that maybe killing them after enslaving the kwamies can't xork.

Then better go to a point of time before they did.

Once more, using a fraction of Nooroo's remaining powers to boost Natasi's time and space abilities, the duo leaped into the portal that should connect them to the intended point of time.

Neither realized what nightmare they would see. === Dread.

Pure, uncontrolled dread consumed the two.

What the duo found beyond the portal was not the world of before, but a place completely different.

A place that enemated the sensation of terror and insignificance.

As the two looked at the area, a pitch-black space with no colors-

No.

As both spread their senses, it took their utmost effort to not throw up.

For in this place where colors seemed to cease to exist...

All the other concepts ceased to exist as well.

Neither could feel time, space, creation or destruction.

No concept could be felt.

It felt-

It felt-!

"Like what happened when we saw that Nothingness eating that star!"

Cosmic Actress choked, feeling pained by the act of speaking in this place alone.

"Just like... What happened when Tikki was also enslaved!"

Natasi added, feeling just as pained.

Movement felt so difficult.

Both felt they would lose conciousness at this rate.

Suddenly, pain amplified, as both barely held a scream as the two watched as their bodies...

Started to disappear.

As if being deleted by this Nothingness.

As if every concept that was allowing their existence was being deleted.

Panic filled their hearts as they tried to free themselves, but-

Their powers were being drained by this place.

It took a huge effort for the two to make contact, and it was only thanks to the sheer emotions of terror that Cosmic Actress and Natasi managed to successfully escape using another portion of Nooroo's leftover energy.

Barely escaping with their lives.

The two took rapid breaths trying to calm down the raging emotions.

"What was that!? How can that-!? That thing shouldn't even exist! It just felt so alien and opposite to every thing that should exist in the cosmos!"

Natasi yelled as clo clutched loc chest in horror at the experience the two had the unpleasantness to live through.

"I don't know! And honestly, I don't think neither of us even can! It was as if-!"

Nix was also terrified out of nix mind at the experience.

That... Nothingness, as the two decided to name it, shouldn't exist. It was so fundamentally different from the concepts it was terrifying.

A place, or an entity that simply deletes every concept it came to contact with.

It was as if-

"As if it was born from the lack of concepts."

That was the only option.

A domain that was created due to the lack of sufficient essence in the concept of Creation-

Then growing larger as more concepts get their essences taken away, leaving more holes for that Nothingness to "grow".

"... That Nothingness is why the kwamies can't be really freed, isn't it?"

Natasi asked, but both knew that the answer is "yes".

Most likely, that Nothingness doesn't want to allow anything to exist alongside it.

And worse, it was doing that just for doing that.

There was no feeling of maliciousness or rage or hatred towards the cosmos enemating from The Nothingness from what the two sensed, very, very faintly, now that the two can process the emotions a little more calmly.

It was just utterly indifferent towards any and everything. As if The Nothingness, if it was an existing entity, was looking at them the same way an eldetitch abomination looks at humans and ants alike.

Just pure apathy and nonchalance.

The concepts, Cosmic Actress and Natasi. They all were treated the same.

As if they were all nothing but nonentities.

And if the conclusions are correct, then The Nothingness will only keep deleting and sending cracks across the cosmos. Wrecking the concepts even more, until nothing remains.

"We must stop that thing but how?"

"I don't know Natasi. I don't know. But we must stop it. No matter what..."

Both looked at each other, faces still pale from horror at the encounter.

But easier said than done.

Neither know how to start untangling this mess that the "Guardians" had caused.

And neither do the duo knows just how far the universe can hold... === In a point of nonexistence that no concept can identify, a being was slowly waking up.

Little did that mean, since this being was nothing but a "mass" of nonexistence.

Barely, just barely, it could remember what it was.

An entity of Nothingness, a being that embodied the nonexisence of anything.

For "centillions of years", it had "existed".

Long before the cosmos was created.

"Enjoying" the "Solitude" and "Silence" it was surrounded by.

Then suddenly, the cosmos came to be out of literally nowhere, expanding infinitely.

The Nothingness was rapidly banished- no. To be more precise, it was... locked into a prison of it's own essence.

And it then laid "dormant" for the next billions of years, as the cosmos kept expanding and branching

Only recently, when the power-hungry idiots who called themselves the "Order of Guardians" throught it was a great idea to Shackle a concept's power and essence to a tiny jewel did it start to... "Awaken".

But now, after experiencing what it felt like to be "alive" again, it had wondered...

Maybe it is time to get the "Solitude and Silence" it lived in long before.

And make sure that no other entity stops it this time.

From being the only thing to "exist" anymore.

For the first time in it's long "life", it felt something.

It felt... Motivation.

And no matter what, no one will stop it from attaining it's goal.

The other concepts will no longer bind it. It won't allow that.

Let them try. Creation, Destruction, Time, Space, and all the rest.

All will succumb in front of it. And be deleted.

All for the sake of the "Solitude" that it was desired so much... === "Just... how much should we keep trying...? Just how long will this continue?"

Cosmic Actress fell on nix knees, tears falling from nix face.

Another time reset.

Another time reset trying to save the kwamies with Natasi.

Failed.

Natasi was alongside nix, loc face crying as well.

Nothing worked.

And neither was able to know just how many time resets that were done.

It's always the same.

Nothing ever changes.

And when things do change, the reality twists, and they get punished for it by ending where and when the two started, or seeing the end of the cosmos as anyone can know it.

Even Duusuu and Nooroo, the two kwamies that were freed from nix body, somehow were Shackled once more inside the duo's bodies.

As if none of their efforts of freeing the two kwamies mattered...

And neither of them know for how long their minds can hold for much longer. === End. === Well, not really.

Turns out that my brain is being a jerk, because I find myself having ideas on how to finish this AU and I can't get them out of my head :(

So, I guess I will be submitting another prompt to close this story.

... After I can find out how to give Cosmic Actress, Natasi, and Marinette a happy ending. Yes, my brain is a sadistic brat.

Either that or Tikki broke the fourth wall and decided to punish me for 'tormenting' Marinette by giving me ideas.
