Optimus had apologized several times and while Bee accepted; he told his leader that he understood that he wasn’t in the right mindset. Quintessa had gotten into the Prime’s helm so there was no way he was going to hold any of the battle against the other.

“All done,“ one of the mechanics said, pulling him from his thoughts.

With a soft grunt, the Autobot sat up and immediately flexed his doorwings just as the medic told him not to and to ‘take it easy’. The dull throbbing at his hinges was nothing he couldn’t deal with but it was best not to disrupt the repairs for now.

“Thanks,“ he practically chirped as he stood up and walked out of the medical wing. 

After the battle with Quintessa he immediately was told to report to medical to get his door wings reattached and to be looked over for any other injuries. Now that he was cleared though he walked out of the base and looked around. Crosshairs and Drift were speaking to each other and Hound was talking noisily with a small group of humans. Just as he started walking over to the noisy group he spotted a familiar short femme close by.

“Firefly,“ he asked slowly as he approached her.

jonathan was still feeling the high from the pre-show match so much that it clouded his anger that they were on the pre-show. he knew that whenever the usos and the new day went against each other that it was gonna be one of the best matches they’ve had. the amount of congratulations they received backstage was overwhelming and he stopped to thank almost everyone but he didn’t forget to talk to one person; ash. she wasn’t there due to ric being in the hospital but that didn’t stop him from checking up on her and to partially brag. he grabbed his phone and walked into an empty area of a hallway, soon dialing his girlfriend’s number and holding up to his ear.

“hey, ash? did you see it?! we killed it out there. you were right about us bein’ on the pre-show can’t be too bad. i’m just tired of being on it but i’m not gettin’ into all of that.” he ended with a chuckle before his tone got serious. “but how is ric holdin’ up? is he doing alright? want me to come over now?”
