Her mind has gone treacherously blank. “Just send the gift then.” Korkie gives her an odd look. “You just said that would be rude,” he says. “Why don’t you and dad go? You do that for me all the time.” “We can’t,” Satine says, too quickly and without thinking. “Why?” Korkie asks, bewildered. And is there ever a good way to say the Chandrilan senator in question and myself had an extramarital affair that spanned several years and several planets and ended somewhat disastrously when her shabuir of a husband found us together in a hotel room and we had to poorly convince him we were drunkenly playing strip-sabaac to your twenty-six year old son? And the real question: is it more humiliating to fess up to your adult child, or to go face the object of said affair in person for the first time in a decade? *** Or: Mon throws a party, Satine gets an invite. The rest, as they say, is history.

WIP Wednesday :D

I got a section from chapter three of my Not Quite Human fic to share, hopefully I can finish the chapter by the end of this week :3

Cody looked at himself in the mirror as he dressed himself, taking a moment to admire the tattoos, scars, and stretch marks littering his skin. However his thoughts were interrupted as Obi-Wan walked out of the refresher, drying off his hair with a towel as he was dressed in his pants and the shirt he wore underneath all his robes.

"I'll have to tell Satine about that little trick." Obi-Wan teased, getting a huff from Cody as he zipped up his black undersuit top. "Both of you are awful." He groaned, pulling on his fingerless heavy duty gloves. "You love us~" Obi-Wan teased, starting to put his robes back on while Cody attached his armour again. "For some reason." The commander sighed, giving his head a small shake. Once Cody had gotten himself dressed he looked over and noticed Obi-Wan's now cold tea. He grabbed it and dumped it down the drain before rinsing the mug and making Obi-Wan a fresh cup. Cody looked over, steaming cup of tea in his hand as he watched Obi-Wan look around the room with a scowl on his face. The commander narrowed his eyes for a moment before speaking. "Obi-Wan. Did you lose your lightsaber, in your own quarters?" He growled Obi-Wan looked up, a hint of a nervous expression on his face. "Of course not, my dear." He cleared his throat, standing up straighter. Cody rolled his eyes, his ears pinning back in annoyance as his tail flicked irritatedly. He handed the tea to Obi-Wan before quickly scanning the room. He noticed the hilt of Obi-Wan's lightsaber poking out from underneath the nightstand, having probably rolled under there. "I don't know what you'd do without me." The clone muttered as he bent over and picked up the lightsaber. He stood back up straight before walking over and clipping the lightsaber straight to Obi-Wan's belt. "Well, I wouldn't get views like that." Obi-Wan smirked. Cody raised his right eyebrow in confusion, his right ear also lifting as he tilted his head slightly. And then it hit him. "...you knew where your lightsaber was didn't you?" Obi-Wan nodded. "..I hate you." Cody sighed. Grabbing his blaster from where it hung up on the wall. It slid it onto his back, the click letting him know it was attached to his back plate beside his jetpack. The commander scooped up his helmet before leaving the room, Obi-Wan's laughter echoing as he walked away, a small smile on his face.

The first one is gonna be Cody, Obi-Wan, and Satine. (Btw this is also for my Not Quite Human Clones au)

And so are these two (I really love this au if you can't tell). I'm not that happy with Fox so I still have a lot to work on for him, but I am very happy with Echo and Cutup so far! Also Echo's so tall because of his prosthetic legs.

Also, I may or may not be making some Dogma in 104th armour art because I went down a little rabbit hole of fics this morning (also I'm so happy with how Dogma looks, like I barely fussed with it at all and it looks so good??? AHHHHHH I love it)

Cody watches as the toddler dutifully tries to open the door — to not avail, obviously, since she’s way too small to reach the handle. Letti lets out an annoyed huff and falls back on her rear, her plush tooka forgotten beside her. She scrunches up her face — it’s the cue for Cody to intervene before she tries to use the Force to open the door and accidentally break a window again. In two steps he’s behind her and taking Letti into his arms, placing her on his hips with ease. She swaps at his face — Cody’s not sure if it’s on purpose or accidental — but gets immediately distracted in her protests when Cody hands her her toy.

Cody can’t help but smile. He bounces her a little, making a slow way back to the couch.

“And what do you say?” he asks, bouncing her again and making her giggles.

“Vor’e, ba’buir.” She sends him a toothy grin. Cody kisses her cheek, which makes her giggle some more.

“Is everything going okay here?” says a new voice, and Cody smiles at the sight of his husband.

Obi-Wan looks wonderful, as usual. It’s only brightened by the fond look he directs at them, and Luke gripping at his hand. Leia is following slowly behind them, closing the door of the office behind her, her attention toward the datapad she’s holding.

Korkie is still on Mandalore playing mediator between his mother and his aunt. They would have stayed, but Satine had insisted for them to go on their scheduled vacations without her. Cody only gives Korkie another day before he gets annoyed at the supposed adults in charge and leaves to rejoin them. He definitely needs to relax, at least. Wooley is out catching up with the members of the 212nd and 501st living nearby, as usual. Rex, Anakin, and Padmé are out in a date — or, as they say, a “half-romantic date, half-platonic date!” which doesn’t make any sense but apparently work for them, and aren’t supposed to come back before late in the evening. Ahsoka hasn’t joined them yet, and Daithe is busy preparing for her Knight trials, even if they won’t happen before another year.

Which left Cody and Obi-Wan in charge of their grandchildren.

Minus Tup — who is with Fives and Echo right now, and Cody doesn’t want to know what they’re doing, thank you very much — and Dogma — who’s busy wreaking havoc in the Senate and will come with Ahsoka when her mission ends.

It only leaves the eleven years-old twins and the three years-old toddler with them.

When i started into the fandom i wasn't able to choose which ship i preferred between Codywan and Obitine and then my genius (doubtful) brain was like "but what about the three of them together?" And now i unironically absolutely love Cobitine... I feel like they would balance each other out very well, plus the angst and hurt/comfort you can have with these three... amazing.
