Disney Night(s) ended in a double elimination! And they weren't too shocking, if you ask me.
This was a two night affair. On Monday, the couples paid tribute to Disney heroes and compete in the Mickey Dance challenge. They had to incorporate dance moves given them by Mickey Mouse into their routines. And the moves often clashed with their styles but they did their best. In the end, one couple was determined to have done it the best and was awarded two extra points. Jimmie and Emma won those points and it was well deserved. They were the top of my list.
And then on Tuesday, the couples went from heroes to villains. There were some amazing routines but no other gimmick - other than a double elimination staring them down at the end.
Cheryl, Cody and Derek were all back in the ballroom. Let's hope no one else has any COVID scares and let's check out how Disney Night(s) went for our stars!
Brian and Sharna (Hero Night - Prince Charming, Villain Night - Barbossa)
This was not a surprising elimination. Given the talent of this group, Brian was the weak link. And he struggled to get his scores up week to week. He tried but it just wasn't enough to keep him in the competition. He struggled with the moves and his feet, though he definitely had chemistry with Sharna. At least we got to see how cute they were going around Disneyland together.
Matt and Lindsay (Heroes Night - Frozone, Villain Night - Kaa)
I'm not terribly surprised that Matt went home though I had thought that they would keep him over Kenya. Like many others, I thought his Villain night performance was stronger than his Hero night performance. And I thought Bachelor Nation would carry him through for a few more weeks. I know this call has been controversy because the process was not properly explained by the show, namely Tyra. She keeps saying "if the judges are split," which confused even me. How can three judges be split? It's always going to be two against one. But it seems that what they really mean is that if the judges aren't unianimous, then Len votes. But that still makes little sense. I think they need to figure out how to better do the judges' save to avoid such confusion and controversy.
Melora and Artem (Hero Night - Baloo, Villain Night - Mother Gothel)
Melora absolutely dominated the night, even scoring the first 10 of the season - from Len! She went from a fun quickstep to "I Wanna Be Like You" to a menacing jazz routine to "Mother Knows Best" with ease. Not only is she a talented dancer but she brings heart and character to all her dances. It was fun watching her spend time with Artem and her husband in Disneyland and it was also great to see Kate Flannery again as well! The former contestant dropped by to give her costar from The Office some pointers. It was great to see and I'm glad Melora is really starting to stand out. Maybe Artem will have back-to-back wins.
JoJo and Jenna (Hero Night - Prince Charming, Villain Night - Mal)
JoJo continues to be a ball of positivity, even talking about how she considers haters and bullies to be villains so she is constantly fighting them. She was also really excited for Disney Week and it showed in both her Viennese waltz where she was the Prince Charming to Jenna's Cinderella as well as her paso doble, where she was Mal and Jenna was Evie from Descendants. (Though I wouldn't classify Mal as a villain. In watching the movies, she is still more hero than villain. She's just not a classic Disney hero). But anyway, JoJo is like Melora - she continues to excel at the dancing while bringing something that makes each routine pop. It may come down to Melora and JoJo in the finals, barring any shocking elimination a la Sabrina Bryant.
Olivia and Val (Hero Night - Simba, Villain Night - Ernesto de la Cruz)
Though actually Val was Ernesto and Olivia seemed to be playing a fan trying to get his attention in a fun Coco-inspired jazz routine. Val even threw in some Latin dance moves to honor Coco's roots and Olivia handled them well. She also did well with their samba and has slowly climbed up the leaderboard. She could pose a threat to Melora or JoJo so they should watch out and push themselves more if they want to stay ahead of Olivia.
Amanda and Alan (Hero Night - Tarzan, Villain Night - Cruella)
I think Villain Night was a stronger night for Amanda than Hero Night. She handled the rumba well but she really shone in the paso doble, letting herself get lost in the character and the dance. She needs more moments like her paso if she wants to remain in contention for the top spots each week. Also, her son Elvis is so cute and it looked like he had a lot of fun at Disneyland with his mom and Alan. Also, let's leave poor Alan alone for a week or two. He has no control over what wardrobe puts him in! (Though I did enjoy Carrie Ann's joke that she and Alan were wearing the same wig on Hero Night).
Suni and Sasha (Hero Night - Mirabelle, Villain Night - Winifred Sanderson)
Hocus Pocus getting some love on Disney Night! Suni looked wonderful as the witch and she had a great routine with Sasha, who was dressed as a cat. But she really shone on Hero Night in her salsa to "Colombia, Mi Encanto" from the new movie Encanto. It was clear she was having a lot of fun because she was far more expressive than she has been in the past. She's already leagues above her Week 1 performance and that has been so much fun to watch. I know she'll at least make it to Halloween and get to experience how much her partner loves the holiday.
Jimmie and Emma (Hero Night- Mulan, Villain Night - Captain Hook)
Jimmie is a BIG Disney fan. Like, he got engaged at Disney World and he and his wife had a gender reveal there. So he was really excited for this week and it was one of his best, in my opinion. He's definitely giving The Miz a challenge as best male competitor. Jimmie handled his Mulan paso doble very well and I agreed with the judges that he and Emma incorporated the Mickey Dance Challenge the best in to their dance so I'm glad they got the bonus points. He and Emma also did well with their jazz routine as Hook and Tinkerbell. And Jimmie announced his wife was starting to dilate so his new baby should likely arrive before the next show! Congrats to them!
Mel C and Gleb (Hero Night - Mary Poppins, Villain Night - Maleficent)
Hero Night hurt Mel C as she and Gleb were out of sync in the beginning of their routine, which threw them off for a few counts. They quickly got it back and the rest of their jazz routine was great. And they handled their Viennese waltz inspired by Maleficent well. She needs to step it up a bit. We're fast approaching the halfway point and the competition is getting tighter. I'd hate to see her go home before the finals.
The Miz and Witney (Hero Night - Genie, Villain Night- Scar)
The Miz is certainly one of the best men in the competition, though he needs to keep an eye on Jimmie and possibly Iman. But I admire the Miz's dedication and hardwork. He did a great job with his quickstep as the Genie and said he enjoyed playing the hero for once since he plays a villain (or heel) in the WWE. So he felt more in his comfort zone on Villain Night as he danced an Argentine tango as Scar. He and Witney really nailed it and I look forward to seeing what else he does as we move forward in the competition.
Iman and Daniella (Hero Night - Elsa, Villain Night - Jafar)
I'm glad Iman is improving and that Daniella appears to be getting more comfortable with their height difference. Iman talked about how he delivered both his daughters by hand because they came faster than expected and he said they gave him tips for portraying Frozen. But he and Daniella really shone on Villain Night in their Argentine tango where he was Jafar and she was Iago. They pulled off some crazy amazing moves and it seems like Daniella might be a "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board" champion. She didn't just rely on tricks, though, and choreographed some solid portions in hold. It was hard to see Iman's feet but his upper body looked good. So if he still needs to work on his feet, that's something he and Daniella can do to remain in the competition.
Kenya and Brandon (Hero Night - Moana, Villain Night - Evil Queen)
Kenya ended up in the bottom two weeks in a row. This doesn't really bode well for her though I'm glad it was decided to keep her. However, she's either going to need to step up her dancing or else next week might be her last week. In other seasons, she may have dominated the competition but not in this group. Her dances this week were good but not outstanding. And she needs to hit that level in order to offset the fact not enough people are voting for her. I hope she can do that because I do enjoy watching her.
Cody and Cheryl (Hero Night - Powerline, Villain Night -Gaston)
A Goofy Movie also got some love this Disney Week! That movie holds a special place in my family's hearts so I'm glad to see it get it's due. Cheryl and Cody were back in the ballroom but it was revealed they only had about three days of in-person rehearsal. I thought their routines were good for that, though they probably could've used a bit more polish. While I enjoyed his performance as Powerline, I think his Viennese waltz as Gaston was his stronger dance but maybe because he had another day to practice it. Let's see what they do with a full week of in-person rehearsals next week.
Tonight is Grease Night and I heard Olivia Newton-John may make an appearance! So it should be fun!
See you then!

TheThings is back on their bullshit
(WARNING: LONG RANT AHEAD!!!!)
Anyone know how to delete a YouTube video from someone else's channel (or just their entire channel all together) because...
This

Is SO
I don't even have the words!!!!
Once again, your girl watches one of their videos (several times unfortunately to really analyze this ish) so y'all don't have to and let me tell you, this one is 1,000,000x more infuriating than the one when they belittled Uma to lift Mal and make her better in comparison (link to my post on that here).
I've been recommended this video so many times since the trailers for D3 dropped and when I saw the title, I KNEW I was gonna hate it and low and behold, I DID!
So let's go over their "5 Signs on why Audrey is the real threat", shall we?
#1. Audrey's Outburst
So, their first piece of evidence as to why Audrey's the unfathomable dark force (their exact words) is because of the fact that Audrey yelled no as Ben proposed to Mal, "ruining their beautiful moment". They then explain that it would be "natural for Audrey to be jealous since she is Ben's ex-girlfriend", being perfect okay with the ugly "black, bitter, ex-girlfriend" trope that many have loved to stick onto her in their fanfics (I see y'all 👀), and then compares that moment to when Ben asked Mal to be his date for coronation in D1, stating that she didn't react so strongly before, so why now? EXCUSE ME?! Our girl left the Tourney Field crying that her BOYFRIEND had serenaded another girl with a love song, and not a single person ran after her. She had every reason to be upset then, too. Who's to even say why Audrey's saying no? It could be a terrible misdirect on the trailer's part. The theory that Audrey's possessed is swirling around everywhere, maybe it had already begun to take effect, which is why she's "acting so strangely". D3 hasn't even been released and they're already villainizing her. Figures.
They also use the typical argument that Audrey's into titles and she wants what Mal has, and that she didn't want Chad because he was merely a prince.
She doesn't want Chad because CHAD CHARMING IS A MANIPULATIVE TOOL! Ask Evie! Chad only thinks that being king would get Audrey's attention. You wanna talk about jealousy? Titles? If ant character is jealous of anyone's titles, it's Chad freaking Charming, not Audrey.
#2. The Crown
An obvious piece of evidence is the fact that "Audrey" steals the Queen's crown and Maleficent's scepter from the museum. Whatever, right? They assume that Audrey's faking her slumber when the sleeping spell hits, giving her an alibi. They then have the FREAKING AUDACITY to say that AUDREY, a non magical princess, who has been so anti-magic since D1 (with a grandmother who she loves dearly, that's triggered by the mention of said spells and curses), was the cause of the curse. Their evidence? Well, her family's VERY familiar with it, so it makes sense, right?
NO!!!!
Audrey has NO magic whatsoever!!! Did they forget that? The only reason her family is "so familiar" with the sleeping spell is because THEY ARE VICTIMS OF SAID SLEEPING SPELL!!!! And it's not like she could cast it, because, again, AUDREY HAS NO MAGIC!! If anyone is familiar with a sleeping spell, it's Mal. After all, she almost put Evie under just so she could grab her mother's specter from her.
How dare you take an Innocent family's trauma and turn it around to make them the bad guys?
#3. The Scepter
They continue to say that "Audrey" is to blame for the sleeping spell, rather than Celia, Hades, or Uma because "Audrey" has the specter. And immediately, they suggest that maybe Audrey's not working only. You wanna bet who they hinted Audrey was cooperating with?
If you guessed Uma, you'd be correct. All because Uma's seen laughing in her teaser. WHAT?! So, not only do you attempt to take Audrey's entire character and drag it through the mud, you take ANOTHER black girl's name that you've already tried to ruin and tarnish and say they're working together because they're BITTER?
If they're BITTER, it's ONLY BECAUSE YOUR WHITE, PLAIN, BARNEY COLORED DRAGON FAIRY PRIVILEGED PRINCESS PROSPECT FAVE had treated them HORRIBLY.
They end their third sign with the line "We knew Audrey was a mean girl, but we didn't think she'd stoop so low".
The meanest thing Audrey has ever done INTENTIONALLY, was 1.) Tell Evie that she and her family don't have a royal status in Auradon (to which, she is technically correct) and 2.) Tell Mal that she and Ben wouldn't last because she's "the bad girl infatuation".
Jane should be branded the mean girl because she turns on the one girl that helped her with her rise to popularity (which, granted, was for malicious INTENTIONS and caused EVEN MORE self esteem issues by degrading her).
MAL should be branded the mean girl, if anyone! She's:
Dumped rotten shrimp on her former best friend because she laughed at her
Forced a guy to throw a party since his mother was away, knowing that his abusive mother wouldn't be okay with it
Then locked a girl in a closet full of BEAR TRAPS at said party all because she wasn't invited to her birthday party when they were SIX YEARS OLD
Dumped lye on another former best friend's hair because she DIDN'T WANT TO BE COMPARED TO HER
Told another girl that all she had going for her was her personality, so she needed the wand to make herself pretty
ROOFIED HER SOON TO BE BOYFRIEND INTO DATING HER IN THE FIRST PLACE JUST TO GET A FRONT ROW SEAT AT HIS CORONATION SO SHE COULD STEAL THE WAND
AND TAKES SAID WAND FROM THE GIRL SHE EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATED EARLIER AND POINTS IT DIRECTLY AT AUDREY ALL BECAUSE SHE KNEW THAT MAL WASN'T GOOD FROM THE JUMP
Let's see a video ranking Mal's top five worst moments, huh? There's plenty of those to use for a freaking video.
#4. It's All About Mal (sounds like D3)
They start this point off with: "Audrey has beef with Mal".
AS SHE SHOULD!
They use the fact that Mal stole her boyfriend and her title and their families history with one another, so Audrey has this motivation to ACT OUT AGAINST HER ENTIRE COUNTRY? Not buying it! I won't buy it, especially since both parties seemed to have made amends at the end of D1 when Mal silently curtsies as a lame form of an apology that Audrey gracefully accepts anyway like the future Queen of Auroria would. Audrey's even seen bowing willingly at the end of Set It Off, and is even cheering and dancing with her friends as Mal and Ben share their moment under the fireworks, so clearly, Audrey's not broken up about it in the slightest.
They propose a theory that Audrey's absence in D2 is because she's planning her revenge in Sherwood Forest, and that she doesn't have car troubles because "Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather should be more than capable of handling it, so she's only calling Chad to help her plot her scheme.
Whatever they're smoking, I want it.
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather can't help Audrey with her car troubles because of the MAGIC BAN!! They needed Chad to help with her car.
And I HIGHLY DOUBT that Disney would plan something so carefully since the entire series is branded with plot holes and inconsistencies anyway, so... 🐸☕
#5. Face Off Time
Their final point states that Mal has to face off against the enemy and they use the first teaser of dragon-Mal blowing fire at "Audrey" on top of the castle, and the card at the end that says "betrayal", that Audrey has betrayed all of Auradon. And since Mal only turns into a dragon against SERIOUS ENEMIES LIKE UMA IN D2, Audrey has to be a REAL THREAT.
Thank God they're probably not making a D4, because if they continue this trend of WOC wronged by Mal as the villain, I'd be scared for Evie...
So, in their words, Audrey and Uma, two of the few black girls in the entire franchise who have every God given right not to like/trust Mal, are Mal's MOST SERIOUS rivals, as if Hades doesn't at ALL pose a threat to Auradon. No, Audrey is So mUcH MOre THreATEninG thAN ThE GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD, SO SHE MUST BE STOPPED!!!
I see you, TheThings, and if I didn't despise your channel before, I hate it that much more now after enduring 5 minutes of hell with you guys.
AND, TO TOP IT ALL OFF THEY CLEARLY SHOW THEIR BIAS OF MAL OVER AUDREY!!

Like, just say you're racist and GO! Audrey's clearly influenced by some magical being, whether it be Hades (WHO WE SEE DOING SOME KIND OF MAGICAL RITUAL WITH HER AND HIS EMBER IN A TRAILER, BUT I GUESS THEY CHOSE TO IGNORE IT FOR SOME REASON 🐸☕), Dr. Facilier, Celia, or maybe even Maleficent. Your reasons for making Audrey the villain are pathetic, and I wish I could block a YouTube Channel so I would NEVER see another video from your channel ever again.
I'm so sick of how "mean" brown girls are treated in media AND fandoms. Why does Audrey get all of his libel while Mal gets away with EVERYTHING? Why are the Cheryl Blossoms, the Quinn Fabrays, the Kitty Wildes, and every other mean girl that Emma Roberts has ever played are so praised and are instant fan favorites while the Josie McCoys, the Santana Lopezes, and the Brees are seen as the bullies when, at the end of the day, they're both different sides of the same damn coin?
And if you don't see a problem with this, then, newsflash, you are the problem!
So, I end my rant with this:

And a short tag list containing: @amityravenclawelf and @coco-rena because I know these two are looking forward to this!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
And I apologize for the typos but I was HEATED!!

DWTS S25 Week 7 (Halloween Night) Recap/Review
DWTS S25 Week 7 (Halloween Night) Recap/Review
Recaps [Here]
Next Week Trio Dances with former contestants (including but not limited to... Alfonso Ribiero, Kelly Monaco & Corbin Bleu)
Individual Dances
1. Victoria Arlen & Val Chmerkovskiy - Viennese Waltz (9+9+9=27) I loved the simplicity of this routine. It was a straightforward V.W. Len should be happy with all the content. I don’t have any real criticisms. Victoria & Val’s chemistry gets stronger each week. I’m not sure how it will stand out, being the first dance & a slow one on Halloween night, but it was great nonetheless.
2. Jordan Fisher & Lindsay Arnold - Paso Doble (10+10+10=30) Another knockout routine from these two. The theme & content was blended quite seamlessly. Super tight & clean, even in the group sections. For another couple, this could’ve been quite messy but Jordan knows placement just as much anyone. They’re doing everything right.
3. Nikki Bella & Artem Chigventsev - Jive (8+8+8=24) I liked this dance just fine, I won’t remember it but I’m not gonna drag it. I do agree with Carrie Ann, that you could see Nikki dancing with her brain, but overall it was good.
4. Vanessa Lachey & Maksim Chmerkovskiy - Paso Doble (8+8+8=24) This just wasn’t their best dance. I get what they going for but the dancing wasn’t as solid as it needed to be. This was the most unsteady I’ve seen Vanessa. I think there was so much focus on the speed and aggression the elegance became an afterthought. Off night for a usually consistent couple.
5. Terrell Owens & Cheryl Burke - Tango (8+8+9=25) T.O. is quite a charismatic performer. Once again, I agree with Carrie Ann, he’s better when it’s a lot of movement. This dance kind of robotic at time, the transitions weren’t seamless. But for the height difference his hold has improve greatly.
6. Lindsey Sterling & Mark Ballas - Paso Doble (9+9+9=27) Best costumes and make-up of the night. This was a much tighter, cleaner paso than Vanessa & Maks’. The only thing that holds it back from being as great as Jordan’s is you could see Lindsey’s movements were restricted cause of her injury. But she didn’t falter or even hesitate. The girl really killed it, considering her pain. Had she not been injured it would’ve been a perfect score, I’m sure. It’s my favorite dance of the night so far, the choreography was superb, kudos to Mark. Very memorable. These two are easily the most consistent with Jordan & Lindsay.
The whole night has been cloaked in suspense about whether Lindsey was going to dance because she’s injured. I didn’t really worry because this is DWTS we’re talking about, few things they love more than a “Will they or won’t they?”. I figured they would power through, Lindsey has a real shot, she’s Jordan’s only real competition (though Frankie is closing in). I just don’t see them throwing in the towel, this close. I just hope her injury doesn’t affect her quality of dance / scores too much going forward, considering she’s got stay toe to toe with Jordan and Lindsay.
7. Frankie Muniz & Witney Carson - Contemporary (10+10+10=30) This was one of the few or only Halloween dances that actually felt haunting. Frankie nailed his “stalker” part. The disappearing act, played out quite well on t.v.. I liked the theme and acting more than the choreography, for me it was a lot of jumping and throwing. It wasn’t as fluid as I like contemporary to be but Frankie really brought the dance to life with his acting. Frankie is definitely Top 3 material.
8. Drew Scott & Emma Slater - Charleston (9+9+9=27) Drew is absolutely the most improved celeb dancer this season. I mean his footwork, his sync with Emma just worlds away from the early weeks. I’ve been fond of him since Week 1 and this week just proves why. Emma is kicking his butt. The wackiness of this dance was great, perfectly mixed with the Charleston content. Lots of footwork and tempo changes too, Emma didn’t hold back on Drew this week and I’m glad, one of my favorites of the night.
Team Dances (Freestyle)
Team Monster Mash:Terrell & Cheryl, Nikki & Artem, Jordan & Lindsay, Lindsey & Mark (8+8+8=24)
Lindsey and Mark and Jordan & Lindsay, stood out with their solos. I think Nikki & Artem had the weakest one. The corn stalks were distracting, but the group parts were fun and pretty appropriate for the variance in skill. It was definitely a Monster Mash, it was upbeat and wacky. Len is right it was messy but aren’t they all..?
Team Phantom of the Ballroom: Drew & Emma, Victoria & Val, Vanessa & Maks, Frankie & Witney (10+10+10=30)
Wow... This was really... GOOD. The Phantom of the Opera theme was probably an advantage, being inherently cleaner & more elegant the Monster Mash. Everyone really held their own. I think this was the more skill balanced team, everyone is about as good as each other on this team. There was not glaring weak link. Was it the most perfect sync in the ever no, but it was boosted by the messiness of the previous team. They really looked like a cohesive dance team or cast of a play compared to Team Monster Mash, that looked like 4 different couples dancing together.
Elimination
In Jeopardy
Drew & Emma - SAFE
Vanessa & Maks - Eliminated - Wow the Double Elimination rears it’s ugly head. I said last week, Vanessa should’ve been about Top 4, she’s that good, but she wouldn’t really appreciated this season because it’s so stacked. It’s a shame while this week wasn’t their best, I thought she killed it last week. Definitely a premature exit.
Nikki & Artem - Eliminated - Nikki greatly improved from her emotionless early weeks, sad to see her go, but as the cast thins, she becomes the weakest link. Her Disney dance to the upcoming movie Coco will forever be a favorite of mine.
Terrel & Cheryl - SAFE
Next week: TRIO Dances with Former Contestants

IT WAS DISNEY NIGHT! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS NIGHT?
Mickey was there! And Minnie! Pluto! Donald! Goofy! The seven dwarfs! And KERMIT THE FROG!
So how did Disney Night treat our contestants? Let’s wish upon a star and find out:
Sasha and Gleb: When my boss asked me who I thought was going to go home, I said “Sasha.” Even though Nick is the weakest link, it seems he keeps getting the votes. So I figured that since Sasha hadn’t made it out of the middle of the pack, others might not have been wowed by her either and didn’t vote. Her Little Mermaid rumba once again was nice but still lacking a wow factor. But she got to dress up and dance on Disney Night, so that’s still a win.
Jordan and Lindsay: They danced to “You’re Welcome” from Moana, specifically the version Jordan and Lin-Manuel Miranda recorded for the end credits. His foxtrot was fun and well done. The judges thought the breakdown to the rap was too long but I thought it was perfect. Just like their scores--yes, Jordan got the first perfect score of the season! Go, Jordan!
Frankie and Witney: She was worried he wouldn’t be able to pull of sexy but his Argentine tango inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean was one of the best performances of the night. He was cool, confident and powerful as he and Witney tangoed across the dance floor and definitely earned such a high mark. I’m not sure why they ended up in the bottom two then but hopefully they won’t be there next week.
Lindsey and Mark: She gave us a traditional foxtrot to “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio. The only gimmick in sight was Mickey Mouse accompanied them on the piano. Lindsey said it was scary because she was putting her real self out there but it paid off handsomely, earning them the first ten from Len of the season! I especially loved their bit as the music swelled for the bridge (”Like a bolt out of the blue...”). It was absolutely beautiful.
Nikki and Artem: They gave us a preview of Disney’s newest film, Coco, which comes out next month. Nikki also got to tap into her Mexican roots for the song and her jazz routine, which she enjoyed. And it showed in her routine. She seemed more relaxed and enjoyed it more, which was reflected in her scores.
Victoria and Val: They kicked off the night with a jazz tribute to Steamboat Willie, Mickey Mouse’s first appearance. It was the perfect routine and captured the feeling of a Mickey Mouse cartoon, especially from the early days. And I would also like to thank whoever put Val in those shorts.
Drew and Emma: Once again, he’s back in a slow song as he danced a waltz to The Muppet Movie’s “Rainbow Connection.” He once again was able to better control his movements and brought a grace to the dance, which got Kermit’s seal of approval. I also loved Emma’s dress.
Terrell and Cheryl: He was given a quickstep to The Lion King’s “I Just Can’t Wait to be King.” It was certainly good but like Sasha, I’m still waiting for him to “Wow” me. And since we’re about halfway through the competition, everyone needs to wow to keep advancing. I think Terrell is working toward it and I hope he can still bring the “wow” factor.
Vanessa and Maks: “Someday My Prince Will Come” is beautiful in French and Vanessa made a lovely Snow White. Unfortunately, there were some missteps in her waltz this week and that kept her on the relatively low side. I worry she’s plateaued and hope this doesn’t hinder her. Also, try to find their intro package. Maks was all seven dwarfs and himself. It was hysterical. (There’s even a nod to his “I am the show” comment from when he was paired with Hope Solo).
Nick and Peta: He had “The Jungle Book” and his quickstep was pretty good...once again. Nick is still not on the same level as the others and I know his time is numbered...but it appears he keeps getting a lot of votes, so I’m not sure when he’ll go.
So that was the magical Disney night of this season and I can’t wait until the next! However, for next week, we’ll be dealing with movie tributes again. Can’t wait to see which ones they pick this go around.
