Alright, I haven't wrote in a time but I have a brainrot about my boys. So...I want to introduce my Team for now, maybe later I'll introduce eachone (including some changes I've made in two of them)

They are known inside as 75th Regiment Specters, a team created by Cpt. Marchant years after her mission in Angola with some help. She picked them personally, since she knew some of the Drill Sergeants. Heard about every one through them and learnt about their missions, later recruited into the team.

Since the very beggining they were told about the only rule Marchant had, "No one's left behind", after that they molded their own code in combat. They are efficient, quick and deadly, and that's all that their allies care about.

Also they have a coordinator and the only thing the team know about them is their nickname "Wraith". Alicia know her tho, an old friend of hers.

For everyone outside of them, they are just a good team. But reality is that after so many years, they've become a little family. Alicia care deeply for them and treat them as their own. All the boys care for her as much as she does.

There was a time when she got really bad injured during a mission (almost didn't make it), and all of them were basically feral going after the enemies seeking vengance. And the last time someone tried to use one of the boys as hostage...well, it isn't hard to imagine, is it? Marchant is feared because of a reason.

Note: Sorry if i got something wrong about the occupation of each one or about something else, i'm absolutely not a military and english is not my first language, everything came from internet, google traductor and a family member.

Hello !!! Hello !!! I love your cosplay guides as they also help me figure out gear for my cod OCS, but I have a question!! What gear is more common with snipers?

You ofc don't have to answer but it'd really help!!!

Snipers are odd in the fact that a lot of their equipment is very mission-specific, and/or carried in tertiary kit like a backpack or gun bag.

Additionally, when in their FFP (final firing point), if the situation permits they’ll remove bulky equipment and set up behind the gun in just their clothes and whatever they’re using to conceal themselves (ghillie suit, viper hood, etc).

That said, half the time all that really distinguishes a sniper from regular line troops (outside of wearing ghillie) is the rifle carried.

The following is based on my own observations from different forms of media including accounts about snipers by others, and will be a broad generalisation.

So from a clothing standpoint, you’ll commonly see them wearing full BDU tops instead of tactical-cut shirts like the G3 or Striker XTs: this is generally due to being more protective against the elements and environment, as well as adding a little more camouflage and concealment. Combat pants are also likely, given the integrated joint protection provided, though regular BDU trousers combined with kneepads may also be worn.

Additional components like ghillie suits and hoods may be adopted, but that comes down more to specific mission needs and the operating environment. And they’re always tailored for their final operational environment. That said they can come in different forms: full ghillie suits that cover the wearer head to toe in foliage that’s picked from the natural environment; half-ghillies that can be worn to hide either the torso or legs; hoods that cover the head and shoulders, with some that can extend down to the elbow and middle of one’s back (viper hoods and Crye’s compact assault ghillie are examples of these).

For load bearing equipment, you could honestly pick anything from a simple belt rig all the way to the full plate carriers worn by other personnel. Again, this comes down to the mission at hand and the operating environment.

Snipers are more a reconnaissance tool than anything else, so bear that in mind. Anticipate them carrying more tools used for observation and reconnaissance purposes, like rangefinders, designators, spotting scopes, etc. A lot of that will also becarried in a backpack, very rarely in dedicated pouches on a vest or chest rig. You could carry binos/rangefinder in a belt pouch if you’re expecting to use them a lot.

TL;DR: Viper realises maybe Shadow Company isn't the best people to be with.

Everything went wrong, so quickly.

Hutch didn’t expect today to go the way he did. He was thinking ’hey we’ll drop Alejandro, Soap and Ghost off at that base of theirs, and go home! No biggie!’

But no. Graves just had to go and turn on the trio, to a few Shadows’ horror.

The one he noticed take it worse than him, was a young woman, a medic who had been recruited a few years back, and worked with both the Shadows and the 141. She made some excuse to check on some injured soldiers, but Hutch knew.

“Be careful out there, Monica.” Hutch whispered hastly.

Monica nodded, before sprinting off. Hutch prayed to whatever higher being that she makes it out.

The Company were ordered to find Soap and Ghost, since Alejandro had been apprehended.

“Is this even right…?” Hutch muttered to his partner. “We were just working with them a moment ago.”

“Plans change, Viper. I suggest you keep your mouth shut and do as Graves tells ya.” His partner replied.

Hutch bit the inside of his cheek with worry. Everything seemed off. It’s like Graves and a few of his closest men had been planning this, while others like him and Monica were kept in the dark, and others following blindly.

They soon came across another group of Shadows, and amongst them, was Graves.

He was standing in front of a small row of civilians.

“Now. Where are they?!” Graves barked.

The civilians looked confused.

“Well?!”

They still didn’t speak. Hutch didn’t know if it was reluctance, or if they just didn’t know or understand a word that came out of Graves’ mouth.

“Maybe some incentive will jog them, Boss!” A Shadow piped up with a harsh grin.

“It might as well.” Graves responded. He gestured to the Shadow, who shot one of the civilians, the others letting out a sharp cry of fear and grief.

“Christ…” Hutch whispered, backing away.

Graves noticed this.

“You. Here. Now.” He spoke the words slowly.

Hutch looked around awkwardly before walking forward. “Sir?”

“Shoot the rest. They won’t speak.”

“I…What?” Hutch stammered.

“Did I stutter, son? Shoot them.” Graves repeated.

Hutch looked back at the civilians, then back at Graves a few times.

“Sir, I…I can’t…” Hutch looked at him pleadingly.

“Civilians die all the time. How is this any different?” Graves asked.

“I…” Hutch lowered his head. “I just…can’t…”

Graves scoffed and shoved Hutch back into the group, taking the gun out to finish the job. “Coward.”

That stirred something up in Hutch. He wasn’t sure what it was, but it felt like…hate?

“Hypocrite.” Hutch growled, the words coming out before he could stop them.

Graves paused and turned back to Hutch. “Got something to say?”

Hutch took a breath. He may as well go all in.

“Hyprocite! You’re a murderer! A coward!”

“Oh, am I? Are you any different?” Graves walked forwards until he was just inches from Hutch. Sure, Hutch was tall, but Graves was still intimidating.

“I’m no murderer. No…monster! I will not kill civilians just because your pets ran from your lies!” Hutch raised his voice, which warranted the butt of Graves’ gun hitting him square in the stomach, causing him to fall to his knees, coughing.

“Cuff him.” Graves ordered “We’ll deal with him after we find Soap and Ghost.”

Graves watched as his men cuffed Hutch.

He knelt down before him, placing his guns barrel against Hutch’s chin.

“You know… You really could have been great.”

Hutch didn’t meet Graves’ gaze. He had so many things he wanted to say, but his courage was dwindling rapidly.

Graves scoffed and got back up. “Move him to a secure location. I’ll be having a chat with our little…renegade, later.” He chuckled darkly.

Hutch was heaved to his feet and dragged off.

He was held down in the cellar for hours. The men who had dragged him off had decided they’re too bored to wait for Graves, and interrogated him then and there.

“You working for the 141 then, Hutchy?” One of the men smirked as he knelt down and forced Hutch to look up slightly.

Hutch growled and moved his head away sharply. “Go fuck yourself, Raines. Always thinking you’re Graves.”

Raines just gave a dramatic disappointed sigh. “Yeah, maybe I do act like him.” He stood up, and then kicked Hutch in the gut, causing the man to cough and wheeze. “But I sure made a damn good show of it.”

Hutch took a breath and glared up at them. But he felt tired, so he didn’t bother causing any more fuss. He just hoped that Raines and the others would just leave him there.

“Give up already?” Raines scoffed. “Graves will break you in an instant. Mark my words.”

Then, Raines had a sinister sneer on his face. “Imagine how your son will feel. His father turning into a traitor, and getting killed.”

Hutch let out an angry yell and broke free from the Shadow that held him and lunged at Raines, punching him where he could. “Don’t you dare talk about my son, you snake!”

And Viper isn't for lotr, I just throw him into whatever fandom I feel like. I have a fantasy COD au for Viper and basically Price finds him taking down a whole group of bad guys in his giant dragon form and decides that is his son now!!! Viper didn't get a choice, Price dragged him to his house by his tail (affectionately) and made him sign the adoption papers

Dragon names are indeed very difficult to think of!! Matter of fact anything fantasy related- names places languages (for me at least) is so difficult bc there are no rules and guidelines you’re working on a blank slate and I think the endless options have me feeling overwhelmed 😭 if u ever need a name I suggest zmaj (zuh-mai) it literally means dragon in my native language but I think it would make a neat name!

Lynx - Has okay handwriting when writing english and the messiest handwriting when writing russian. His family can read his handwriting

Hawk - Neat handwriting in both english and russian

Viper - Messy handwriting in general.

Vixen - clean neat Russian handwriting. Handwriting of a kindergarten child because his father (Vladimir Makarov) didn’t bother to teach Vixen how to write in english.

Aria - Neat spanish. Rarely ever writes in english despite being fluent.

Graves having very fancy and neat handwriting. It looks poetic, his signature is much rougher looking so no one believes that’s his actual handwriting. Sometimes Graves purposefully writes chicken scratch so he doesn’t have to hear someone make comments on his handwriting.

Kat maybe sorta kinda has arsonist tendencies. She will take any chance she gets to light things on fire and her most common solution out in the field to problems is “blow it up?”. She is 100% a bad influence on Sadie. Shows Sadie how to make a “homemade flamethrower” and Sadie is delighted.

The both of them are complete softies for any animals that fall within their line of sight. Even out in the field. Sadie also has an intense love for all lizards and spiders she sees -Kat supports her but herself is a little grossed out by them (ironically especially snakes).

Neither of them tolerates douchebags -as women in the military they’ve both had their share of small minded pricks, and they will not be putting up with it. As the older of the two, Kat feels more protective of Sadie, but her way of dealing with a problem is to glare and ignore, because let’s be honest whoever tries to get under her skin is simply beneath her, not worthy of a scrap of her attention (unless you really get her mad and then ooh baby you’re gone. Like six feet under no one even remembers you gone). Sadie on the other hand is ready to fight at the drop of a hat- you so much as look in their direction the wrong way and she’s sizing you up, disturbingly eager to fight.

Kat’s the more sociable of the two, easily joking around with teammates and whatnot. Sadie is a bit more rough around the edges and takes great pleasure in saying unhinged shit. Will also say wildly conflicting things about herself for the hell of it. She’s left many people wondering what even is the truth when it comes to anything about her or her past.

Sadie’s the one who seeks Kat out more often than not, and Kat’s more than willing to be the shoulder she leans on or the pillow she falls asleep on

Theirs is a friendship born of desperation and loneliness. They each lived through some heavy shit and after a disaster of a mission where they were the only two to come out alive, they individually decided ‘fuck it, this is my person now’. They grabbed onto each other with claws and teeth and refused to let go. Send up a prayer for whoever would dare try to separate them
