Some new images from Famitsu's interview with Keita Iizuka. Currently the interview is only in Japanese, but here's some rough translations of a few things I thought you'd all would like to know.

Civilization Collapsed due to a perimorphic phenomenon called "Linne" Mankind was almost destroyed by the power of a Revenant, an immortal being. Can you believe we live in the world where we finally have Code Vein 2 announcement? Because I can't! We're so back, guys!

I'm so, so, sooo excited about the trailer!! Absolutely adore new monsters' and characters' design and pretty curious how everything will turn out.

The whole exposed hearts thing looks pretty cool, but I wonder what the context for it is? In the first game, it was established that damage to the heart is the only thing that can permanently kill a Revenant. So why have it as an easy target now? I noticed in the trailer that the enemies also have their hearts exposed, so this is a common thing among Revenants and Horrors.

Also, I have to say I really like everything about Lou's(?) design. It's very reminiscent of Io, but like more fashionable.
