Well, I know this is kind of Spoilers, but fuck it.

Edelweiss (aka Art of War!Sans) knows about Killer and knows that his AU is a variant of Something New.

Everyone in Code: Erasure knows about their “stigmata”, aka stories they are variants of. They merely studied them out of curiosity and to figure out what AUs they wanted to destroy.

Edelweiss doesn’t hate Killer, merely views him as a victim and is actually happy that he is with Color.

Edelweiss and the rest of Code: Erasure refuses to touch Something New in fear of what would exactly happen if the player from Something New got their way. They have toyed with the idea of trying to rid the player from the code there, but are not sure as to how that would affect Killer in particular.

But to summarize Code: Erasure’s thoughts about Killer.

Klezmer feels pity.

Katagma is indifferent.

Izanagi is empathetic.

DeVille is empathetic but proud of him for getting away.

Edelweiss is proud of Killer for getting away and living a happy life and hopes that he moved on from the trauma.

I wonder how many people out in the multiverse actually know about killer. there’s obviously people like the stars, core, likely anyone who goes or is already in the omega timeline, error, epic sanses and the abyss team as some point, etc.

judging off the interactions between killer and his victim in the stage 4 comic, the papyrus obviously didn’t know exactly who he was or why he was there, why he was doing what he was doing.

Besides vague mentions of a “friend” who is the reason why killer isn’t planning to kill this papyrus (before being triggered into stage 4 anyway.) all that papyrus really seemed to care about is where is brother is and what happened to him.

so nightmare is probably initially targeting aus that aren’t aware of the multiverse at first. maybe he expands outwards more as his gang grows, and maybe that’s when his operatives start going “underground” in a sense.

i wonder how many cold cases in certain aus killer has been the cause of because police officers couldn’t find and arrest anyone and investigators possibly struggled to pin down any clues.

probably even struggled to pin down an exact MO, given that killer probably uses multiple weapons at whim on a single victim. as if having grown uninterested halfway through the murder.

or maybe he does leave clues or signs behind, perhaps because of boredom. either in an attempt to spice things up, or because he grew uninterested the attack and doesn’t much consider or care about things like legal consequences in regards to himself, so he just impulsively leaves items he used as makeshift weapons behind like a broken bat or even a victim’s own kitchen knife.

i don’t see him leaving behind any of his own personal weapons, even if they’re broken or not. must be strange to investigate crime scenes of this particular killer because of how often he just seems to use common everyday household items as weapons, even though judging by certain wounds on the bodies, the killer certainly had access and experience with actual, deadlier weapons such as daggers, knives, etc.

when he does use knives I’d imagine they’re more quick and brutal stabs, back when it was just himself working under nightmare. I’d imagine that many victims often just died, likely from bleeding out, because killer was often careless and always aimed to kill—and it’d of course take time for nightmares attempts to make him hurt, not kill, to overwrite the instinct that had been conditioned into killers body prior.

when the gang expands and killer is given opportunity to spar with others, and isn’t allowed to kill them because they in fact will not come back because this isn’t the Underground, he has to learn how to seriously hurt without killing. Meaning he has to learn to restrain his strength and avoid fatal areas.

Given killer’s tendency towards a scientific approach, I’d that’s eventually how he starts approaching his killing as well—especially when it starts being assigned to specific targets.

It’d be the type of kills that shows that this particular murderer has an intensive knowledge of anatomy, but seemingly less so in the way a doctor would and more so as if the killer learned purely through trial, error, and maybe some textbooks.

as if self taught—but only when it comes to human victims, as if the killer wasn’t too familiar with human anatomy and the human body but seemed quite eager to learn.
