🤔🚦 🎬 for the ask game!
Thank you @lemonsrosesandlavender!
🤔 Would you ever want to write something canon if you got the opportunity?
I sort of hate writing stuff that's canon, honestly! I've got a few fics that take place within it and I'm always running desperately to get out of it as quickly as possible.
Limitation is the mother of all invention, but, it can be absolutely stifling to have to work within the limits of an existing narrative.
I think I understood this question, haha - or was it asking me if I'd want to write something *in* to canon?
The closest answer I have to that is 'if I could make any character in BG3 my OC, it'd be Donnick' and leave it at that.
🚦What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?
I am a shameless captain of team 'EVERYBODY LIVES', so I wont pretend I write bad endings, but, I do feel a story has to end in a way that feels true, so a few of my tales have ended on a bittersweet note. Some romances face a harder mountain to climb than others, and a happy ending isn't always possible.
I'll go with ambiguous or 'a mixture'. As in life; some things work out, some things don't, and threads won't tie themselves up in little bows just because it's time for things to end. Some questions can be left unanswered.
🎬 If a movie or show were based on your fic, which fic would you choose and who would you fancast?
I decided not to take the easy way out and use Boraldus for this, because if anyone were making a movie or show of anything, I'd hope they'd pick 'Sufferer, I shall' as it's the most ... uh ... suitable, despite all the intense heretical sex.
Casting Abdirak has been driving me INSANE though.
Ignoring time and space, Abdirak would be played by:
Tumblr media
Jason Isaacs, specifically this one, from Event Horizon.
Donnick would be played by:
Tumblr media
Cody Fern, but Cody Fern of like, last week when he's in his mid 30s, not this one (this was the most suitable gif I could find, aiight?).

American Horror Story: A ranking of seasons — 10-5 | part I
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
American Horror Story is one of the most iconic horror series of the last few years. It has this really cool concept of telling a different story each season, which lets the show explore all kinds of horror subgenres. One of the things I love most is how it showcases the actors’ versatility — seeing them return in completely different roles every season is always so fun. Anyway, it’s easily one of my favorite shows of all time. I love everything about it.
And since the fandom basically lives here on Tumblr, I wanted to make my own personal ranking of the seasons (the ones I’ve actually watched). I’m splitting it into two parts just to keep things a little more organized — So here it is — full of unhinged thoughts and deeply biased opinions.
Tumblr media
10. Apocalypse (S8)
Tumblr media
Honestly? I don’t care. It doesn’t shine. I only watched it for Michael — and for Cody fern’s acting, let’s be honest — and the ending is just plain bad.
This is the season that splits the fandom in half. Some people will defend it with their lives, others will trash it to the grave. Me? I’m stuck in the middle of the mess. Apocalypse starts with grand promises and delivers nothing but confusion. And that’s exactly why it lands in last place.
American Horror Story was always about telling new stories each season — but over time, we started to notice the connections. Everything exists in the same universe, and that’s exciting. Apocalypse takes that concept and tries to turn it into a spectacle: the Antichrist from Murder House, the witches from Coven, and a highly stylized, dramatic end of the world.
And in the beginning? It works. The early episodes have a strong atmosphere, mystery, and even some clichés that work well — a group of survivors trapped in a bunker, people dying one by one, that unsettling tension building up. The sci-fi teen couple, the apocalyptic mood, the campy aesthetics. And of course, Michael Langdon himself: charismatic, enigmatic, terrifying. He owns the screen. His early development is genuinely compelling. Watching the rise of the Antichrist should’ve been a chilling, fascinating ride.
But then… it all falls apart.
In the rush to tie everything together, the season begins to stumble — and eventually collapse. Characters come and go with no weight, entire plots are abandoned mid-season, and Michael loses all his momentum. What could’ve been the universe’s epic climax becomes a clumsy patchwork of nostalgia and fan service thrown together with no real focus.
And then… there’s the time travel plot.
I have a love-hate relationship with this trope. It can be iconic. It can be the powerful final twist. But here? It feels like a slap in the face. It’s the lazy, rushed solution to take down the most powerful villain this series has ever created. And sure, I get it — to defeat the Antichrist, you need something big. But this version of time travel only creates more questions. It reopens timelines that were already closed, it breaks the rules of its own universe, and it leaves us with even more confusion.
You start Apocalypse with questions.
You end Apocalypse with double the questions.
And just when you think it’s over… they hit you with a time loop twist. Yes. The Antichrist is coming back. It’s all going to happen again. And the answers? Nowhere to be found.
9. Double fature (S10)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This season left me feeling really conflicted. Double Feature is split into two separate parts: Red Tide and Death Valley. They have completely different vibes, tones, and storylines, and at first glance, they don’t seem to connect at all. So, to fairly rank it, I decided to break it down into three sections — part one, part two, and the full experience.
Part One – Red Tide: artists, monsters, and the addiction to success
Red Tide had a really strong concept and was honestly fun to follow. The atmosphere was eerie, cold, and constantly tense. The critique of the artistic process, the pressure to create, and the desperation for relevance is the strongest part of the story. The characters were great — there was nothing about them that I disliked, and I genuinely enjoyed watching their descent.
But then… that ending. What was that? After so much build-up, it just crashed and burned. It felt rushed, empty, and like it completely wasted all the tension it had spent episodes building.
That said, I still kind of love Red Tide — maybe more than it deserves — mostly for personal reasons: vampire Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock being dramatic and unhinged? Yes, I’m into it.
Part Two – Death Valley: aliens, presidents, and… what am I watching?
If Red Tide was a grounded, moody horror story, Death Valley is complete chaos. Four people being impregnated by aliens to create a superior hybrid race? U.S. presidents making intergalactic deals? I was literally sitting there like, “what is happening?”
At first, the concept seemed intriguing, but it quickly became slow and kind of painful to watch. The pacing dragged, and the characters? Honestly, pretty bland. I couldn’t connect with anyone, and even with all the weirdness, it just didn’t hit emotionally.
Weirdly though, there’s something strangely enjoyable about how absolutely insane it is. But still, it loses momentum and the ending — again — feels like a letdown.
Double Feature as a whole: what actually connects these two stories?
That’s the big question, right? Why bring these two wildly different stories together under one season? What actually makes Red Tide and Death Valley Double Feature?
For me, the answer lies in the theme of dehumanization.
As different as they seem, Red Tide and Death Valley share a core idea: the loss of humanity. In Red Tide, artists literally transform into blood-hungry creatures in the pursuit of greatness — they trade their humanity for success. In Death Valley, humans give their bodies to science and aliens, surrendering their individuality and autonomy in the name of progress. Whether it’s for fame, brilliance, or innovation, both parts explore how far people will go — what they’re willing to become — to reach something “greater.”
Each half tells a story of transformation, manipulation, and the erasure of self. And maybe that’s exactly why these two halves were put together: Double Feature is about what remains when we stop being human.
Overall, I’m pretty neutral about Double Feature. I don’t hate it, but I definitely don’t love it either. Red Tide stands out a bit more for me — both for its story and for the cast — but both halves suffer from weak endings and inconsistent pacing.
In the end, Double Feature had a solid concept but felt like a mix of highs and lows. Interesting ideas? Yes. Great execution? Not quite. That’s why it lands in 9th place on my American Horror Story ranking.
8. 1984 (S9)
Tumblr media
It’s a fun horror cliché with iconic characters and an absolutely flawless 80s aesthetic. The season starts off strong: slasher vibes, summer camp, neon lights, blood everywhere, and over-the-top characters that really work within the theme. The soundtrack is amazing, and visually, it’s one of the most beautiful seasons in the whole series.
The storyline involving Richard Ramirez is obviously controversial, since he was a real-life criminal. But within the exaggerated and fictional world of the show, he becomes this bizarre, cartoonish, almost supernatural villain — and that actually works for the chaotic energy of this season. I also really liked Montana’s twist as a villain; it added something unexpected and fun to the story.
And Brooke? She’s such a great final girl. Sweet, beautiful, lovable — I was rooting for her the whole time.
That said, the story goes off the rails hard in the second half. Margaret and Mr. Jingles’ plot becomes completely absurd, and when Jingles turns into some sort of ghost avenger… yeah, it lost me. On top of that, my favorite characters didn’t make it (justice for Xavier, my sweet charismatic king), so honestly? Screw it.
Aesthetically, though, this season is a total feast: the music, the settings, the costumes…I love all of it. It’s just a shame the plot couldn’t keep up.
7. Roanoke (S6)
Tumblr media
This season is honestly great. Genuinely scary, with a solid plot — though it does get a bit boring later on.
It’s considered by many fans to be the scariest season, and I both agree and disagree. I think real horror goes beyond violent ghosts. What truly scares me is the stuff that feels real, the kind of thing that could actually happen. The more likely something is, the more it creeps me out. That being said… yeah, I was terrified watching this season. I’m a scaredy cat, I admit it. (After all that critique, right?)
I love the found footage documentary concept, and I really like when the show pulls from real legends. That’s already scary — but here, they went even further: a third-person found footage documentary based on a real legend? They served terrifying scenes.
Special shoutout to Lady Gaga’s performance — she’s almost unrecognizable, and her character is really compelling. The use of first-person camera work was brilliant here. It builds tension in such an intense way, making you feel the characters’ fear — and the actors’ performances really elevate it. I’m honestly shocked this season didn’t win any awards, because the acting was top tier.
The cannibals were absolutely terrifying. Their scenes are disturbing and panic-inducing. Finn Wittrock and Robin Weigert were completely unrecognizable and played bizarre, creepy characters so well — total nightmare fuel.
This season really shows off the cast’s full potential. Amazing performances, iconic characters, intense moments. And visually, it’s a very strong season with a powerful, immersive atmosphere.
6. Asylum
Tumblr media
The fandom’s sweetheart — and for good reason. This is one of the most iconic and well-written seasons in the entire series. The storylines are solid, everything is explained with care, and the historical inspirations (like real-life asylums and serial killers such as Ed Gein) make it feel way too real — which honestly just makes it even more terrifying.
The protagonists are phenomenal. Lana Winters (Sarah Paulson) and Kit Walker (Evan Peters) carry the season with powerful performances and emotionally charged scenes. As for the villains? Chills. Bloody Face is easily one of the scariest characters in the whole franchise — unpredictable, cruel, and deeply disturbing. Then there’s Dr. Arden, who starts off almost cartoonish and ends up being one of the most terrifying due to his real-world roots.
The season delivers iconic moments: the “Name Game” musical number, Mary Eunice singing “You Don’t Know Me,” and her heartbreaking final scene. It’s all hauntingly beautiful.
But despite all that, I can’t rank Asylum any higher — it’s just too heavy. The themes are dark, the violence is brutal, and everything feels too possible. It’s an incredible season, no doubt, but I have no desire to rewatch it. It’s a masterpiece that left me emotionally wrecked.
5. Freak Show
Tumblr media
I am the defense attorney for this season. I can see the flaws, but I can also see all the beauty — and there’s a lot. I love this season deeply: the aesthetic, the music, the characters, the storylines, and the cast. It’s a season full of emotion, talent, and visual richness.
The only real issue is how many storylines are packed into it. It feels like it was originally written for a longer run, and then they had to rush the pacing to wrap everything up. You’re left with the feeling that nothing really got the full closure it deserved. In my opinion, the lore with Dandy, the Twisty the Clown arc, and the conjoined twins’ journey didn’t fit neatly into the same plot as Jimmy’s family drama, the backstory of the “freaks,” the students trying to destroy the show, and Elsa’s past — it’s a lot.
But despite that, I absolutely love how this season lets the cast shine in a different light. Not only are they incredible actors, but the musical performances are beautiful. Jessica Lange (queen!) singing “Life on Mars” is stunning. Evan Peters singing “Come As You Are” is such a sweet and unexpected moment.
It genuinely bothers me that this season didn’t win any awards for makeup or acting. Sarah Paulson portraying Bette and Dot, the conjoined twins, is beyond impressive — her performance is flawless, and the CGI work is top-tier.
This season also features one of my favorite episodes in the entire series: the Edward Mordrake special. What a haunting and beautiful episode. And the finale is so touching too — melancholic, poetic, and somehow peaceful.
I also have to highlight Elsa Mars, an iconic character played brilliantly by Jessica Lange. She’s layered, complex, ambitious, fragile, and unforgettable. One of her best roles in the series.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing a whole season just focused on Dandy and Twisty, or on the students vs. the freaks storyline. There’s so much there. But even with the pacing issues, Freak Show is a season worth watching, full of heart, talent, and unforgettable moments.
I love it. I LOVE it
This is it… for now.
Tumblr media
The curtain closes (temporarily), but the madness continues soon
And that’s the end of Part I of my American Horror Story ranking.
Five seasons in, and we’ve gone through love, chaos, emotion, and a whole lot of drama — just like the show itself. I talked about what worked, what didn’t, and what still lives rent-free in my mind to this day.
If you made it this far: thank you for reading, for sticking with me, and for loving this messy, brilliant series as much as I do.
Part II is coming soon, with even more iconic seasons, unforgettable characters, and, of course, more opinions straight from the heart.
Stay tuned — the best (and possibly most controversial) is yet to come.
To be continued…

I am once again trying to follow V Anon's logic. I mean, how the fact does that prove V exists? If she was an agent or a manager, people would have found out who she was by now. Yet, no one, not even the sQeptics, knows what she does for a living or how she looks like.
I bet V Anon just heard rumors about Cody Fern, made up a story about it, sent it to Patty and hoped she could use it later on. Just like she did with the long debunked earing story.

Hey. How are you ?
I was wondering what is your favorite Cody Fern moments ? (It can be from his acting to his interviews)
And What is your favorite season of the year?
I hope you have a great day and that you are staying safe and hydrated. Take care.
🩷😃👍🏻🌸🖤
Heyy! Thank you for the ask!
I'm good thank you, hope you are too! <3
Favorite Cody moments, hmm.
---
"If you follow your bliss you can't go wrong..."
Tumblr media
"...get on with it! Do what you want to do, 'cause you got one life! ..."
This short little interview actually changed my life, it was a turning point for me and made me realize things about me, my life and how unhappy I've been for years and years. So his words here really inspired me to change and do what I really want.
---
On an entirely different note, this scene from Eden;
Tumblr media
...for reasons that are probably obvious to anyone who has seen Eden and knows how thirsty I am for Andy. xD Really, the entirety of Andy's existence is a favorite moment of mine, because he's just... Wow. I love his look, I love his accent (I am so weak for the Aussie accent <3), and I love that he's such a complex character with both good and bad sides.
---
Next; the ritual scene from Apocalypse, I can't get enough of it;
Tumblr media
I don't really have anything to add. I just... enjoy it? A bit too much, maybe...? xD Michael was also my introduction to Cody, so he holds a special place in my heart.
---
And lastly, another interview moment, from this one;
Tumblr media
When Billie Lourd suddenly comes up and starts touching his nipple and he starts squirming and making a face, but she's short so the camera doesn't catch her, and he's just "That's Billie playing with my nipple". xD I love both him and Billie very much. Also this look might be my absolute favorite of his ever. <3
Those were a few, I could go on for longer, but I'll stop there. :)
---
My favorite season is spring I think, although the answer changes with my mood. It's never going to be winter though, I hate snow and cold, haha!

Movie where Keanu Reeves plays a vigilante who is married to a Disaster Twink™ aka his complete opposite.
Keanu's onscreen husband witnesses something he shouldn't have and becomes the next target of a villainous organization and Keanu must deal with the mess the only way he knows how, only this time he has his snarky smartass college-grad husband in tow.
And they have a dynamic where the husband is an excitable millennial who finds dry humor in the dangerous situation and Keanu is his usual stoic brooding self and there's a lot of Keanu flinging his stubborn love over his shoulder and carrying him to safety.
Keanu: 'I'd kill for you.'
Husband: 'And I'd stab someone for some chicken nuggets right about now, but you don't hear me bragging about it.'

100% for any character
OK, these are going to be kinda funny cause they're a lot of coincidences, so here we go!
Does your character resemble anybody famous?
Let's start with Gina:
Tumblr media
For her I got a few comments with some celebrities that she resembled (which I all agreed with btw), but what struck out to me the most was the mention of Meagan Good. Prior before I got that comment, I didn't know her (shame on me, I know, but I am not really into movies/TV and don't know the majority of actresses or actors). I told my sister that someone said she looks like that actress, and basically she almost frenzied while telling me that it was a HUGE compliment because that woman is just too gorgeous. Well, my life changed that day, thanks to that comment I got to know one of the most beautiful women that are existing on this pitiful earth, and fell in love with her face LMAO. No, but I'm serious, she is so very beautiful, and her resemblance to Gina makes me happy.
So, Luca is the next one:
Tumblr media
Always when I see Cody Fern somewhere (which sadly doesn't happen as often as I'd like to), I think that he just. looks SO much like Luca. They have that same delicate face, strong jaw, small eyes, etc... Just so pretty. When I first saw him in AHS, I was genuinely surprised with how much he resembles Luca. Not that I'm gonna complain, am I right? (On another note, I also think that Luca kinda resembles Morgyn Ember, which comes full circle imo, cause I'm like 99% sure that their looks were obviously inspired by Cody Fern)
Onto the last one, Aaron:
Tumblr media
He resembles the captain of ATEEZ, the Kim Hongjoong! You know that when I got into them cause of their amazing music, I was really shocked that one of their members reminds me of Aaron so much? (Which is especially crazy to me, because they formed WAY later after I created him. One of my friends also once said that I manifested him + ATEEZ hehe). It's not even only the face, it's the complete style and aura. So often when I see Hongjoong, I feel like that he is a real-life Aaron, which is so cool to me, you know?
I might've forgotten some of my OC's, but those 3 are always in my mind when I think of celebrity lookalikes.
This was kinda long, but anyways, I love that they resemble them, those sure are some gorgeous people. Again, I either wasn't aware of any of their existences, or they got famous way later after I created my characters!

star sign: Scorpio
height: 4′11″. . .😐😑😐
middle name?: Yes but I don’t like it so it doesn’t count.
put your itunes or  whatever on shuffle. what are the first 6 songs that popped up?
Black Mass - Electric Wizard
Motorpsycho - Devil’s Witches
Choker - Honeyblood
Dangerous - Depeche Mode
Land of the Sky - Bask
Hunter’s Moon - Ghost

“’Draweth near in the gloom the twilight of the gods .’ The ravens of night have flown forth to summon Loki, who hath set Valhalla aflame with the searing trident of the Inferno.” -  The Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey
ever had a poem or a song written about you?
Not as far as I can tell but I’ve written poetry about other people before.
who is your celebrity crush?
I wouldn’t say crush so much as I just like their faces but Cody Fern and Tura Satana.
what’s a sound you hate; sound you love?
HOOOOO WHAT SOUNDS DON’T I HATE. I hate the scraping of metal, the sound of skin on unglazed ceramic, fireworks, electrical buzzing/clicking, children screaming, slamming doors, etc. I do like the sound of running water, mechanical keyboards, long nails tapping on tables, and windchimes tho!!
do you believe in ghosts?
Oh yeah. I’ve seen and heard spooky shit all my life. As much of a believer as I am, I’m also a skeptic. I always aggressively look for an explanation before I decide it was a ghost. Either way, ghosts are punk ass bitches :v
how about aliens?
Again, I’ve seen spooky shit before. UFOs, I can say I’ve confidently seen them. Aliens? I cannot. I’d like to believe in them but I don’t know if my brain can handle actual evidence of them existing. They freak me out a bit, ngl.
do you drive?
Technically I can, I’m just overly cautious. I don’t have my license yet so legally speaking I can’t drive.
what was the last book you read?
Sunglasses After Dark by Nancy A. Collins.
do you like the smell of gasoline?
Yeth. 👁️👅👁️
what was the last movie you saw?
Death Proof. It was fun!
what’s the worst injury you’ve ever had?
When I was about 11, my friends and I used to race to class. I ended up slipping somehow and my glasses hit the wall (not my face, just my glasses). I was wearing these purple metal frames that had a bit of a sharp edge and it sliced into my eyebrow. They made my sister (@stagebystage) wipe the blood off my face in the nurse’s office lkfjsdlkfjslkjsf until my mom and cousin came to pick me up and took me to get stitches. Now I got a neat lil scar on my left eyebrow.
do you have any obsessions right now?
Oh yah. I’ve been absorbing as much VTM content as I can recently! I’m constantly scheming for the Chronicle I’m running as well! Other than that, my brother got me on Spy X Family and I’m just always waiting for the next episode to come out!!
do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?
I used to but then I realized they probably would never be sorry so there’s no point in letting the wound fester. Those people only ever cross my mind when I’m telling stories about my youth.
in a relationship?
Look at this image. Crazy, yeah? :0
