The huge insectoid monster cocks its head in surprise at it's creator shaking the treats at it. Was this a test? If it accepted the treat, would that be marked as failure to be nothing but a weapon?

But- maybe if it DIDN'T follow it's creator's order to accept the treats, maybe THAT would be failure? Yes, hmh, that must be it.

It's often said that Pokémon come to resemble their masters, or vice-versa.

Seemingly even Ghetsis' team is not spared this fate, as one stillwater Hydreigon actually moves its head in Colress' direction.

Now, normally this wouldn't have been anything of note, but-- and Colress would know-- this particular Pokémon often chose not to expend energy for anything save whatever would become its prey.

Slow-moving, head hung low, the Dragon-type shows some sign of life when it lifts from it's haphazard pile of rags and torn cloth.

Before you learn where it's headed, Colress, you'd better leave.

@coeurlxss / unprompted Once again in Alola, but not out of free will. Looks like interpol needed someone to check on Nanu while he was in the hospital to not raise suspects, and it was his turn. "Everything seems back to normal" he chirps, checking the Kahuna's papers. Pretending to be a doctor was easy, nobody questioned anything when he kept waltzing in, labcoat and all "Guess the toxins have been expelled at last. We took care of a few rogue Ultra Beasts yesterday, they should stay away for a few days, you can go home and we can stop meeting for a while!" He sits then, crossing his legs. "I still wonder" he comments, unable to keep a smirk "why all of those arrived at the same time. I know Ghetsis was around, back then, but as far as I'm aware he had nothing to do with that"

It's been so long since he's been out of the hospital. This time the toxins really took their time to get out of his system. The contact was indeed longer, his physic definitely weaker than ten years ago. Even when he managed to move by himself and his thoughts returned to be completely his own, the doctors thought better to keep an eye on him, just a little longer. The doctors, and Interpol. So afraid of him having another mental breakdown, probably. It wouldn't be a wrong thought.

But he wants to go home. Return to his life. It's been so many months. Just let him go...

His eyes hatch as Colress begins to speak, his tone so happy and delighted, a sharp contrast with Nanu. The Kahuna is lying on his side in bed, arms crossed; gaze suspicious at those words. He's so used to his check going "good, but not enough yet", hearing something else comes as a surprise he's not sure to believe. Especially when it comes from him.

And indeed, there it comes. A question. It can never be just a job for him, he had to satiate his curiosity somehow. Gods, he can't stand him. Never could.

« You sound like you're trying to imply something. » he replies at first, apathy slightly coloured by a note of irritation. Talking to him has always caused that feeling in him, even when his emotions grew so numb. « They were in my head, not the opposite. I have no clue. Are you done now? Can I pack my bag? »

A stranger, dressed in full black tried to flee from the scene as a blonde man in an odd-looking pair of glasses seemed to be doubled over.

"Traitor! This is payback!" The black-clad stranger shouted, panicking as they ran off.

The Unovan woman, happening to pass by and witness the tail end, gave chase to the assailant. Touko saw the Team Plasma logo on their outfit.

Touko saw red.

"BASTARD! You ain't gettin' away that easy, dammit!"

Apparently finished with whatever 'business' she had with the assailant, she knelt down next to the man, resting her hand on his shoulder. He looked oddly familiar, but not in a way that she'd met him before... No matter. He might've been seriously hurt, after all.
