ALSO can't stop thinking about daisuke/comfrey. they're so cute, actually. they met in their sixties, and still got married, and apparently had a lot of wink wink nudge nudge fun on that ship. it's just always nice to be reminded that just 'cuz ur older doesn't mean u don't fuck haha.

anyways, maybe they'll reveal more canon about it later but for now i'm imagining a wedding on the zephyr with the crew, and daisuke wearing a wedding kimono while comfrey wears a white dress, her veil and his haori flying in the wind 'cuz they're sailing in the sky, the clouds behind them.

it's just, like. the way she hesitates over his name when the broadcast comes on, saving it for last and calling him by his first name when it seems like the crew generally call him pappy. the way he watched over olethra and her family from afar for years, that he still does even though they divorced at some point in those years between then and now.
