Jojo's Diary: January 2nd

New year's day was alright. Woke up without a hangover, which was nice, went to work which was NOT nice >:( That creepy guy came back, but my boss was on the floor with me this time, so he didn't stay too long. I should be worried at this point, but with the people I have to worry about every day OTHER than him, I barely have the energy to care. LOL!

What I really want to talk about today is the fight I had with my mom... I visited my family's house to pick up some things I left there on Christmas. Everyone was out of the house except my parents, and I intended to just stop by, say hi, pick up my stuff, a normal visit, you know??? Well because it's my parents' house, it couldn't be normal like I wanted.

My mom basically cornered my and asked me if I was still going through "that phase" of my life or something, then asked me if I was going to "change for the new year." ugh. I tried to tell her that I had a whole list of resolutions, but she told me that's not what she means, and that I know what she means. I guess I do, but I don't really get why she cares about my life! Like, I'm moved out, I'm going to college, I have a job, what else does she want from me?? All because I want to dress and be looked at a certain way? I think I've been a pretty model child, all things considered. I just hate it when my parents try to focus on the one 'off' thing about their kid and make that the biggest issue, like I'm going to go off and overdose or something. UGH!!!!

Then my dad got all pissy with me too, and started telling me I'm 'headed down a dark path' and that if I don't fix my shit or whatever, I'm going to grow up to be a prostitute or something??? He yelled some other stuff, but at that point I was already out the door and driving away.

I'm still reeling from that argument to be honest. If I can be vulnerable for a second, I feel like the longer I DON'T get into an argument with my parents, the harder it is to handle it when I do. Is everyone's family like this? Because it always seems like everyone around me is having a much easier time with theirs than I am. Whatever, I'll be done being emo now. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

In other news, I've been writing this short story lately called The Great Awakening!

It's about a man spending seven days in a haunted house with the promise of his greatest wish once he finishes the seventh day. I kind of gave up on Stapled Shut, since I didn't feel like I could go anywhere interesting with it. Introducción a la Programación Orientada a Objetos

La programación orientada a objetos (POO) es un paradigma de programación que organiza el software en torno a objetos, que son estructuras que combinan datos y comportamiento. En la POO, los objetos representan entidades del mundo real o conceptos abstractos, encapsulando tanto sus propiedades (atributos) como sus acciones (métodos) en una sola unidad. Este enfoque facilita la creación de programas modulares, reutilizables y fáciles de mantener, ya que promueve principios como la herencia (para compartir y extender el comportamiento), el polimorfismo (para tratar objetos de diferentes tipos de manera uniforme) y la encapsulación (para proteger los datos internos del objeto). Unos de los desarrollados según su uso es mas facilitado para un mejor desempeño al momento de un diseño. La programación orientada a objetos (POO) y el diseño están estrechamente relacionados, ya que la POO facilita una estructura de diseño clara y modular en el software. Este paradigma permite dividir un sistema en objetos que representan partes del problema y que interactúan entre sí. Al estructurar el código de esta manera, la POO ayuda a crear aplicaciones más comprensibles y mantenibles, con piezas que pueden diseñarse y desarrollarse de manera independiente.

Con la POO, los principios de diseño orientado a objetos guían la creación de código de calidad. Por ejemplo, los principios SOLID son un conjunto de buenas prácticas que ayudan a organizar y relacionar objetos para que el sistema sea flexible y fácil de modificar. Así, el diseño con POO permite adaptarse a cambios en los requisitos y facilita la reutilización de código, ya que cada clase y objeto se puede modificar o extender sin afectar a otras partes del sistema. De la misma manera los IDE están relacionados ya que dichos programas permiten crear y modificar su diseño, IDE (Integrated Development Environment, o Entorno de Desarrollo Integrado) es una herramienta que facilita el proceso de desarrollo de software al reunir en una sola aplicación varias funciones necesarias para programar. En el contexto de la programación orientada a objetos (POO), un IDE proporciona características que ayudan a los desarrolladores a escribir, depurar, organizar y gestionar el código de forma eficiente.

Algunos de estos IDE o programas (incluyendo lenguajes) mas usados para la orientación a objetos son: Unity: ¿Quieres crear videojuegos, aplicaciones? Descubre cómo la programación orientada a objetos puede simplificar tu trabajo. Con Unity la facilidad es otro nivel ya que este IDE mayormente grafico , tiene una gran variedad de diseños para poder diseñar tus ilustraciones para juegos también de la misma forma vinculaciones de forma grafica para menús interactivos entre otros.

Eclipse: Es un IDE con los que se conforma de C++ ,java y en otros casos uso de Python este IDE se caracteriza por su versatilidad de programación de código abierto, Eclipse IDE es muy popular y versátil, utilizado principalmente para desarrollar software. Es como una herramienta multiusos para programadores, que facilita la escritura, compilación, depuración y ejecución de código:

IntelliJ IDEA: Es otro entorno de desarrollo integrado (IDE) muy popular, al igual que Eclipse. Es conocido por ser una herramienta extremadamente potente y con una interfaz muy intuitiva, especialmente diseñada para mejorar la productividad de los programadores.

Visual Studio: es un entorno de desarrollo integrado (IDE) muy popular y completo, desarrollado por Microsoft. Se utiliza principalmente para crear aplicaciones de escritorio, web y móviles, utilizando una amplia variedad de lenguajes de programación.

PyCharm: Diseñado específicamente para el lenguaje de programación Python. Desarrollado por JetBrains, una empresa reconocida por crear herramientas de desarrollo de alta calidad, PyCharm se ha convertido en uno de los IDE más populares entre los programadores Python a tal grado que algunos los consideran el IDE de Python por excelencia. Su interfaz intuitiva y sus herramientas avanzadas lo hacen ideal tanto para principiantes como para desarrolladores experimentados.

NeatBeans: NeatBeans es un IDE que se puede ejecutar tanto en java tanto en C++ y HTML, un IDE extenso por el cual puedes desarrollar tanto paneles de sesión tanto algunas ventanas de contraseñas o menús, este puede ser usado de una forma menos complicada ya que sus interacciones son mas graficas que lineales .Al igual que PyCharm, ofrece un conjunto de herramientas y características diseñadas para simplificar el proceso de desarrollo de software.

The room fell silent, Steph wasn't expecting the pain filled look they were giving her. The question repeated itself in her head a couple of times as her mind searched for a way to save the situation.

"I see you don't have an answer." The silence was still palpable in the room as well as the cold she felt when she saw those beautiful blue eyes lose their shine. "I should have known it was too good to be true, tell bru… Mr. Wayne that if he wanted to know about the projects so much, he could come ask for them himself instead of using a sugar trap." Steph tried to say something before an alert went off on Danny's phone, at which point she saw the panic that took over his eyes, before he ran to an adjacent hallway that led to a room, in which she was not. I had had the opportunity to enter. As she followed him she could see how Danny took a series of vials and several injections. She hesitated a moment before walking through the half-open door. At that moment she saw how he proceeded to apply several of the injections to a girl of about 5 or 6 years old. Steph knew just by seeing her that she was Danny's daughter. and some of the things they discovered while investigating the Nightingale medical company made a lot of sense.

Unquiet Bones cast:

Antanasia: YES. Her ability to get away with serial murder is actually a major plot point of Unquiet Bones. Antanasia is a necromancer who has been convinced her powers work on essentially a tit-for-tat basis, meaning that for every person she resurrects, someone else has to be that missing death. She has been getting away with this for years on the basis of living in an analogue to a medieval city where the concept of a serial killer is not really known or understood. Given that the city she lives in is near-constantly expanding and overcrowded, and she specifically targets "undesirables" who live in the slums, she's been getting away with it for quite a while.

Lucia: NO. The polar opposite of Antanasia, her inability to get away with murder is a plot point. To be fair, she was like... seven, and it wasn't exactly intentional. Lucia was brutally bullied as a child for her (unrecognised because, again, medieval times) autism. Unfortunately, an autistic meltdown combined with untrained magical powers ends... explosively. As several tormentors find out to their detriment. Lucia's solution to this was to hide in her house's pigeon loft. She was quickly found, very nearly had extemely bad things happen to her, and was saved and sent to the College of Constellations to be trained as a magus. Given her intensely negative experiences at the CoC, it's... debatable whether this was really salvation.

Damian: Has never tried to kill anyone, but theoretically could get away with it by virtue of being King of Haelgavaard, and his life being sacred (at least until he sires an heir to continue his royal bloodline): his servants and intimates (namely, his sworn knight Sir Beladon) would go to extreme lengths to save him from consequences, and likely believe that anyone he killed was "lesser" than Damian, and so his continued life and happiness and security was worth more than any other person's life. Fortunately, despite his many and legitimate stressors and frustrations, Damian is not the murdering kind.

Varnius: YES. Kind of. Like Antanasia, Varnius is a priest of Ysa-Munda, the goddess of death, and also like Antanasia, he has a body count. Unlike Antanasia, all of Varnius's "victims" were willing and... not really victims at all. Varnius operates a hospice some miles outside of Haelgavaard and unofficially offers euthanasia to patients who experience intense suffering: physical and mental. By the time Unquiet Bones opens, Varnius has helped many patients find peace but is still conflicted -- he believes in his heart he is doing the right thing, but his actions directly contravene the doctrine of Ysa-Munda, which states let no mortal hasten or delay the hour [of death]. He has a lot of secondary trauma that he has no real way to process, which is driving him further and further towards caregiver burnout and an accompanying decline in safeguarding when it comes to making sure his patients are sure about ending their lives.

Madeleine: YES. Madeleine is an OC I've used in a wiiiiiide variety of stories at this point. In her OG incarnation in You'll Be Free (If You Truly Wish To Be), she's never put to the test, but in numerous other stories she can and has gotten away with murder, usually on behalf (or in vengeance of) someone else, and often with the help of her right-hand woman, Siobhan, whose past is both shady and blood-soaked. Madeleine is not inherently bloodthirsty by any means, but she is fiercely devoted to those she loves, and if killing is the only way to protect or avenge her loved one, she will plan and execute it both brutally and exquisitely.

Zebelon: YES. Zeb is a gangster in a steampunk version of 1830s London, so he has absolutely killed people and gotten away with it -- although murder is not his primary course of action, and he'd rather avoid it if possible. Still, a fellow has to keep up appearances... especially when he has something to hide. Zeb endeavours to be both intimidating and uninteresting, preferring to melt into the background and let his friend and boss Benevolence Creed take centre stage.
