Hey, this is probably going to sound a little odd, but there's a semi-prominent member of the LotR community who's taking a masters in linguistics I think? They talked a bit about a class that studied the conlangs in LotR. Their project was on the Hobbit languages? For all the details I can remember about it, I cannot for the life of me recall their username. I want to say it was 'concerninghobbits' or similar. They post lovely meta on Frodo and Sam. Do you know who I'm talking about? Pls help?
