Quite possibly one of the most sexy firstprince fics I’ve read 😳😳😳

This was my second venture into alternate AUs (all that glitters is canon-compliant and another fic that I have yet to post a cover for were my first serious exposures of the amazing world of fanfiction).

I don’t have many words for this fic except what a wild ride (pun intended) it was. A definite must-read for anyone who wants to explore a sexier AU. “get him alone” is one of the first fics I recommend to friends for those who want to explore AUs and who want more than just fade-to-black.

So much angst. So much sex.

The cover is an obvious recreation of The Goldfinch, Henry’s treasured item in the story. Getting back into pseudo-serious hobby of graphic design, there was a learning curve to the Photoshop alternative for my iPad (excuse me, how much is the subscription now??), and this poster was a great teaching moment for me. Clone Stamp tool, you are the best.

The image in the centre was going to be either this one, or the two of them smashing their faces together in Paris. Maybe i’ll revisit and make an alternate cover.

Henry is fuming. Absolutely livid. He doesn’t think he’s ever been this angry in his life. The worst part about it is that he can’t tell anyone. He can’t complain to anyone or tell people off for pushing his buttons, because he’s very aware of the fact that it’s not his place to do so. This, of course, only makes things worse. He’s so used to having some form of authority over people, over situations, that it’s very frustrating that the situation he has put himself in is one that’s completely out of his control. He’s never been one to resort to violence - has never felt the need to put his hands on anyone - but he’s very close to smacking away the hands that are constantly fussing over his partner. Henry knows that he sounds like a jealous twat, but he couldn’t care less if he tried. It’s not like he’s telling anyone about his destructive train of thought anyway. He’s perfectly capable of keeping a straight face, thank you very much. “Are you okay, baby?” Alex asks when he strides over in between shots to take a short break. He runs a hand through Henry’s hair and leans in for a kiss. His brows are furrowed in concern. Or not. Henry has never been good at card games.

Thank you for looking out for me! But honestly, I'm... kind of used to helping out with other's issues? I do it a lot and fill in this role often in real life. And truthfully as much as I definitely need to learn to set limits and pace myself, I don't mind. I like helping out others, and in turn, I kind of feel valued and worth a damn in a way that I'm not in the main things (namely, current academics) of my life. But I do think people tend to forgot that I'm at the end of the day, a college student with a lot of issues and a lot of passions, and one of the youngest active members of the community who is still technically has four more months of being a teenager. Not necessarily a bad thing, I don't mind, but I do sometimes go "Me? But I'm just a kid! Why would they come to me?" But either way, I'm glad that this is something you like about me, it means a lot to know that 💕

The writing, the pacing, the timeline, it's all so heart-renching that I teared up on the MTR (our subway) while reading it. And the writing style of the fic is the style I'm trying achieve. It's so good, I can't praise it enough.

But also! My friend @o0anapher0o 's fic Taylor Nick crossover fic New Information based on what started out as a half asleep delusional brainrot that I had that decided to stay in my thoughts. It's really humbling to have someone turn a small idea I thought of into something bigger and something so cool, and the story Anna writes is just so entertaining.

Also shamelss plug but I have 5 firstprince fics and I'm really proud of The Word of Your Body, which is also the first smut fic I've ever written

Keeping one eye on her, he lets his gaze sweep the vicinity but doesn’t see anyone else he even remotely recognises. Shit. He has to do something.

“Sirena?” he calls gently.

Henry... is more than a bit useless around hot guys. So when he finds the lost kid of the gorgeous dad who frequents his bookstore, he pulls himself together until they reunite, only to then be devastated by the revelation that the man thinks Henry hates him. And, well... courage always rises, and all that.

current book you’re reading: uhhhh I should be reading PJO for the brownstone server re-read but I literally taught The Lightning Thief to middle schoolers for two years, I know that book back to front. Also did a book club with Sea of Monsters and The Titan's Curse at the end of the year. So I might just pick up with Battle of the Labyrinth. I also kinda want to re-read A Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds before the movie comes out.

last song you listened to: "Park Bench" by Valley --- I have a huge playlist with all my faves on shuffle for when I drive so this is pretty random, but I do love this song (though my favorite Valley song is "There's Still a Light in the House").

I got tagged by soooo many people for Sunday Six and I just sat here, depressed because I didn't think I have anything exciting to share, haha! Thank you so so so much to all you lovely people (who I'll be tagging down below) for including me, I saw all of you and I appreciate it, despite me being a bum ♥

I've been writing bits and bobs here and there, mostly to work ahead of Kinktober (because last year's Kinktober was stressful, lemme tell you that) so today's snippet is from one of my Kinktober prompts. After I've finished this one, I'll be writing my Valentine's Day fic, so hopefully next snippet will be a bit more exciting!

The prompt is 'Unusual sex toys'. I'm redacting some words to keep the surprise, hehe:

He teases the [redacted] over Alex’s Adam's apple, drags it over his jaw and along the shell of his ear, before he lets it follow the path his mouth has left behind - down his neck, over his collar bones and through the prominent crease between his pecs. He lingers there, as he traces a finger of his free hand over Alex’s hip; circles the bone, before following the dip that leads to his pelvis. “Nng,” Alex whines, tensing his thighs under Henry’s weight, “you’re barely touching me and I already feel like I’m going insane.” “Oh, love,” Henry smiles, wrapping the curve between his thumb and first finger around the base of Alex’s cock, “you’ve always been insane. Now, as Alex starts to flourish through his position on the lacrosse team, his slew of AP classes, and his role in student government, getting him to slow down at all is a feat. The only way that Henry can do it, guaranteed, is by one of those innocuous little fruits. There’s nothing Alex can’t do—surely, he could peel a fucking orange if he felt so inclined—but Henry delights in being able to do this for him.
